It was my and my friend's first time here and we were a little nervous we wouldn't necessarily find much, but we found some really nice hidden gem video games! The person that helped us was so kind, very helpful and super welcoming! Would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for some cool finds!!

I recently had purchased an item there and when I got home the item didnt work I was able to go back and Express my disappointment. But they were so caring and just overall helpful with this whole situation . They apologized and I was able to trade my item for a different item with no problem. I couldn't believe it no problem no hassles their service was awesome. And I will definitely recommend the wooden nickle for ur great priced and awesome items but above all their professional and caring employees that really make for a welcoming environment. My sales representative was named Mikey and he gave me excellent customer service he had an excellent attitude very friendly and very helpful I purchased a ring and was debating between purchasing to and decided that I shall return tomorrow and purchase another one if he is my sales representative nowadays it's really difficult to get customer service and Mikey was friendly upbeat and more than willing to help me it with any questions or anything I needed I give him a five-star in fact when I was in the store I requested to speak to the manager or owner because I wanted to let the owner know what an excellent employee he was

It is unbelievable that the rating for Griffin’s pawnshop is higher than yours and you were owned by the same owner and yet at the wooden nickel the courtesy and professionalism in a presentation to their customers especially disabled ones such as myself I am honored to call myself a customer I have even bought a compound bow there that I said not just a Bakersfield College record our valley record I said a world record as a disabled physically challenged archer thank you for your service over the many years for your service over the many years However I have to say your other store Griffin and sons I’ve never felt more slapped in the face disrespected and misled when purchasing the item I can go on and on but I will not continue because I’ve already left a review on their page thank you for your continued service and dedication to people like myself with physical challenges God bless you and again thank you for your service

Picked up a sick a** Blackstar Cab with the Vintage 30's at a great price. They didn't just rush me out the door. Took the time to hook up a head to the cab and brought over a guitar and let me spend some time testing to make sure its what I wanted. Very professional and friendly. I'd give 6 stars if it would let me!

Called you guys up to tell you we were coming Monday ... I had 9 people with me that wanted to look at and buy earrings 9 of them were 7 of them were ladies and the two guys were going to buy guitars. I had called in advance to make sure you were open and you literally closed the door on us when we got there saying you were about to close! ... You must be doing very well to turn away business. Even after we told you we had come a long way to buy from your store, you didn't even seem to care ... Bad Business! ...

Such a easy place to go pawn some stuff . It was my first time here, Jose helped me out such a nice young man . I was relieved he helped me out and made my experience so easy. He deserves a raise he went up and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Definitely will be back.

Does anyone know were to sell high end speakers and a reciever I got a pair B&W dm17 speakers in excellent condition sound I'd unbelievable with original stands and monster cables and a nad reciever it's a 7155 really nice equipment can anyone help me with this

Going to the Wooden Nickel recently was awesome. I needed a new laptop and they had plenty of options. Alex was very patient with all of my questions and even let me try out different ones until I found one that was perfect for my criteria. It was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back and check out the cool instruments and video games.

Wooden Nickle has an excellent staff that was very knowledgeable and helpful. I went there to see their jewelry and was impressed by the large selection. I will be back next time I am in the market for some quality jewelry now that I know they have a lot to choose from at great pricing.

I took in a DW drum seat to pawn with a retail value of over $230. Mine was practically new. I only asked $40 for it when the man helping me scoffed, didn’t ask for any details or specifics yet was bold enough to offer $10. i instantly walked out and went down the street and pawned it at another place for $110 without them second guessing. They looked into the description of the product, saw what it was worth, compensated me for it, and were more than happy to buy it off me so 5 stars to them! Products being sold at WNT are a little too expensive for the what you get

Went in to find a laptop and walked out pretty happy. I've bought a laptop from here before, so I was sure I would find something I liked. The price seemed reasonable and George was very patient and helpful while I chose which laptop to get.

I do my business here a lot, especially growing up as a kid I was in and out buying retro games and what not. I still love this place it feels like home!!
