Lena should not work at a bank, as a matter of fact she should not work with people at all!!! I have banked with this bank for several years and always felt good about it until talking with Lena. She is rude, does not take customer concerns seriously, is not bothered at all by people wanting to switch banks solely because of her and needs to be fired. I want to file a complaint about her but not sure who to talk too.

    Response from the owner

Amber, I am so sorry for the experience you had with one of our employees. Please know that I am sharing your review with the appropriate leadership team so that they can properly address this with the employee directly. - Kyle M.

I tried to set up an account at this bank and I got sent to Lena whos title is Senior Bank Teller. First she told me I couldnt open a bank account because I didnt close my old account at GreenWoods State Bank in Monticello (theyre great) and gave me a piece of paper for ChexSystems with a number on it. I called this number and a recording spoke to me for a minute and then says "Thank you for your call, goodbye." So I call the bank in Monticello and ask if I had closed all my accounts there, which I had. So I go back to the bank and ask Lena what the problem is and she says I have to get physical proof that I closed the accounts. So we call the Monticello Bank and ask them to fax it over. They say it'll take about an hour and Lena says she'll call me when she gets it. I went to work and had my dad handle it and when I get home, my dad tell me that Lena says that I need to call Monticello because it's private information. It should not be this difficult to open a bank account. I will not be returning.

I would like to start banking here but would like to know if Lena is still working here. Can this be answered? I don't know her personally but the reviews speak for themselves.

Their notary was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Lena always had an excuse for why she would not do something as simple as notarize a signature. We were told to format the paper differently- we did then went back a week later and Lena never even came to speak to us directly the manager of the bank had to come down and talk to her and Lena still refused to notarize a simple signature. I’ve never felt discriminated against before but when I told the manager how I was feeling she went back to Lena for a second then came back to us and didn’t even look us in the eye just said that the notary “didn’t feel comfortable” ... maybe it was because the bank closed in 30 min - scoff! We went to a different bank right around the corner and had our paper notarized in less than 5 min .... needless to say we will be switching banks.

I had problems with my other financial institution, so i transferred my kids and my account here. They have phenomenal customer service and higher interest rates. They are are also available if you have any questions(they give you direct numbers, so you can actually talk to them, instead of being transferred all over the place), which at the other bank, it's like they would avoid you and I'd been there for over 14 years. Thank you wisconsin bank & trust for helping my family get all the kids and my accounts opened with no problems all in one day! I greatly appreciate being treated like we mattered!

I literally waited for 23 minutes to obtain a quote to payoff my motorcycle over the phone....shouldn't this take maybe 5 minutes? Next time I will finance thru someone else....just wow
