    It was great! The application was not long and I got approval within a couple days. Jennifer was amazing and professional from the start. I enjoy working with WestStar Credit Union. I have been with them for years. I got a car loan along with a low interest credit card!

    Don't bank here. I did it for years, and they just kept getting worse and worse. I finally closed my account today thanks to the manager. I requested a chargeback over a canceled subscription. I was told that they'd have to mail some paperwork (I moved out of state) and that I'd have to get it sent back before they will do anything about it. Instead, they sent me a new debit card and pin number. When I called back, I spoke to a different representative that told me the same thing, but that I'd also have to get the note notarized as well! That was the fourth call I made all over a $19.99 chargeback from a gym membership that I canceled three months in advance!! So, I asked to speak to a manager. I got a call back promptly, but it turns out the first woman I spoke with (Tracy) was the same woman that I spoke to!! I canceled my account right there. I've had other issues with the bank as well. For instance, they won't take a deposit that includes pocket change unless it's in a roll, and I once asked them to mail a piece of mail that I had on me. It would've saved me a trip to the post office, but they refused. I banked with them for 7 years, and I'm telling you just don't bank here!!!

    Hi John! Thanks so much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you had a bad experience when you called in. We understand that it can be frustrating when you have a charge on your account that you did not authorize. When one of our members has an unauthorized transaction part of our policy is to send them a new card and deactivate the active card so that more charges can't be made on the account. We also ask that the member fills out a dispute so that their funds can be returned to them. We know that can be inconvenient, especially with you being out of state, but in these cases we do contact the merchant to have the funds returned and your dispute paperwork helps us greatly with that. We are sorry to see you go but are grateful for your membership over the past 7 years. Have a great day!

    It what was a great experience. I did an online pre-approval recieved a call same day and then received the pre-approval letter same day. Choose a vehicle went into harmon branch 1hr out the door with the check to dealership. The lady that helped me with the pre-approval was outstanding very personable. Then the man that did the actual loan was exceptional he was nice too. I love Weststar always have they are the best.

    The process was easy and hassel free. The loan manager went over the loan and explained everything to me. He made sure I understood and answered any questions I had...I was very satisfied.

    The West Star Cresit Union were at my job sight today. I had been meaning to get to an office to start a checking account but they were there. It was totally convenient and the service was great. I’m so glad I was able to finally getting this done. What they are offering for us is enough to to get the account and start my financial life back.

    Army Májanos was the financial representative that help us through the process of getting our loan, and she was absolutely awesome!! Very friendly, helpful and patient. If I was in the “loan” business I would definitely want her to work for me.

    My review is to say "Thank you" and applaud Star Stanford, a team member in the Harmon Branch, Las Vegas, NV. Her gentle voice and demeanor put me at ease. Ms Stanford listened , really listened, as I described the confusion of a posting between two accounts and then rectified the error immediately. Further, she went the extra mile and presented me with a written explanation that included activity from the date of the error to present which ensured all points were addressed and that I fully understood all was in order on both the accounts. Ms. Stanford is an exemplar of customer service at its finest and WestStar has the good fortune of her representing them as the Best of the Best!
