Great!! Experience from drop off to pick up. Art was a fantastic Advisor, paid attention to every detail got my car fixed by end of day. The tech was awesome Ricardo did a fantastic job diagnosing my A/C and got it so cold inside you can dry age steaks. He fixed my remote and now my car opens when I touch the door. All around I highly recommend Volvo Cars Mission Viejo.

I came to this place looking for a used vehicle and was very surprised at how friendly and professional they were. Mitch our salesman was outstanding in helping us out and we were very pleased with his services. He was not pushy at all like other dealerships and let us take our time in making our decision on the vehicle we were looking at. We made a great purchase and the sales manager Chris was outstanding as well. He took care of us and gave us a great price. I had a nail in my tire and called to see if the service department could help. They were amazing and had me come right in. They did not have a tire in stock and I drive a distance to and from work, they quickly provided a rental car and had me on my way. The next day I had my car back good as new. I can’t say enough about how professional & curteous they were.

If I had written this review with our very first experience with Mission Viejo Volvo, I would have had tried to give it a 0. We came here because we were being taking advantage of in Carlsbad and hoped this place would be different. We needed some warranty work but before that could be done, an oil change needed to be done. We worked with Chris initially, who tried to charge us $300+ for an oil change. I'll be honest, I'm a military wife, with three young kids, car knowledge isnt my thing and learning hasn't been a priority. So when I questioned the cost of the oil change, Chris denied any wrongdoing. When my husband went to the service manger, the manager acknowledged was happened was wrong and quickly remedied the situation. He was extremely apologetic and we continued our work with the sevice writer, Art. Art is only reason we continue coming to Mission Viejo. He's EXTREMELY honest, takes time to make sure your concerns are addressed and explains the reason for such work. He understands that yes, you can take advantage of someone but they wont trust you and will never come back. BUT, be honest and take care of them, they will come back again and again and you will make more money in the long run. I appreciate the integrity of Art and will follow where he goes!

Super fast for my 20k service. Great Service. will recommend to any Volvo owner or buying a new Volvo :-) Update : engine splash shield missing 4 clips of 6. It came off partial and dragging during the free way drive , almost cause me accident.

The sales process was great. Mark was great and they allowed us to test fit our dog in the back of the XC60. That was awesome. But, it’s terrible that they sent me home with the wrong cable (it is a plug in hybrid) and three days later still no resolution to the missing part I should have received. We also think they should offer a tech-Ed meeting as a follow up after taking the car home. There’s a lot of cool tech to be configured and best learned after a few days of ownership. Plus the Google infotainment system isn’t the most intuitive for iPhone people (but once configured it is really nice) Love the car!

I have enjoyed my service experiences at Volvo of MV for many years until this one. My car was in the shop for 2 weeks and one day. During that time, I could not get through to the service dept to find out what was going on, and my voice mail messages were not returned. The phone operators were at best no help, and at worst, surly.The only way I was able to talk to anyone was by driving up there. I am not brave enough to leave my car at Volvo Cars of Mission Viejo again, so regretfully, I will have to find somewhere else to have my car serviced. Very disappointing.

After 8,000 miles on our 2021 XC60, it was apparent that something was wrong. The rear tires were wearing out funny. The front tires were exactly as you would expect. Slight signs or wear. We had just had it in the dealer at 6,000 and found that there was not a tire rotation performed so these have always been the rear tires. After taking it in, the dealer told us that the toe alignment was out of spec on both rear wheels. The fronts were fine. If we would had hit something, all wheels would be out of spec especially since the rears were 80% out of spec. In talking with the dealer they couldn’t explain why other than it was delivered that way. The dealer said they would perform the alignment for free, but we would have to call Volvo USA to get refunded for the pair of tires at nearly $700. We filed a claim with Volvo USA but when they checked our story with the dealer, MV Volvo only mentioned that the tires needed to be replaced and didn’t say anything about the alignment issue. Of course Volvo USA will not replace tires since they are a “wear” item but now they will not discuss the matter regarding the alignment since “the case was closed”. Boo for MV Volvo for siding with us in person and then stabbing us in the back later. We currently own 2 Volvos and they will be the last Volvos we ever own. Stay away from this less than honest service center.

I had a very nice, easy experience with purchasing the car. Kyle Palmer was very helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. He listened to what my driving patterns are and recommended the right type of car for me. He was ever-professional, friendly, and patient when I was going back and forth on my decisions. He had all numbers calculated before I arrived, and I did not have to wait long. Edit: I had an issue with my contract, and when I sent an email requesting help through email, I got no answer. I don't know if the error was a tactic, and the no reply was because my deal is done and over with, and they don't need to help me anymore. I'll just say I don't feel as special a customer AFTER the fact, but when I was making the deal, I was the most special customer in the world. Too bad. Unfortunately, they're like most other car salesmen.

Took my car in for service, made an appointment to have it done and told them I would be waiting for the service to be done- was told it would take 1 day. They were so busy, I couldn’t wait for it and they got me loaner car. I kept calling them but, couldn’t t get any status so I had stopped in and they still couldn’t tell me anything. They ended up having the car for 5 days! Seems to be very under staffed.

Amazing People! How best to introduce the new Volvo Mission Viejo other than to say – amazing people, courteous, friendly, engaging, helpful (sorry Honda), who demonstrate their commitment to integrity with every interaction. They may have a small storefront compared to some of the OC auto megamalls but in my opinion, they are on par with the very best marquee brands and dealership in Southern California. I have had the pleasure of working with Kerry Mitchell, General Sales Manager right after the LA Auto Show when I went searching for the new S60. Kerry was straight up with me from the outset – it is a fantastic car that breaks new ground in its category, is made in the USA, and although demos were available for the media it will be a few weeks before the first ones hit his showroom. Would I like him to take my info and contact me when the first one arrives? Of course. Well I was pleasantly surprised when the cars came in earlier than anticipated AND Kerry reached out to me immediately! My business travel made finding a time slot a bit difficult, but Kerry was supportive and understanding. I did arrange a follow-up visit. Timing couldn’t have been better as now Volvo Mission Viejo has several of the new 2019 S60s available. They are all technology masterpieces with incredible safety innovation. It isn’t just marketing hype with Volvo – safety is their way of life. Tracey helped walk me through a few different S60 configurations. Frankly they are all beautiful, well crafted, and as a current Mercedes owner, C250 Sport AMG (3rd Benz) I can tell you this new S60 gives them a serious run for the money. I drove the S60 T6 R-deign. For the sports car lover this is your ride. Tracey by the way knows her way around the car, was a master at the digital interface which after one simple demo I had down cold. The controls on the Volvo are incredibly intuitive. She helped me setup the Heads-Up Display (HUD). Now I’ve used old-school HUDs in Oldsmobile and other legacy US cars but this one rocked. Very easy to see regardless of outside light conditions and incredibly informative. I could go on about the car, but it is the dealership that excels. Their facility is inviting, as I said the people are amazing, and I believe the entire team at Volvo Mission Viejo are committed to ensuring you have a fantastic experience as a new member of the Volvo family. A safe one too! Do visit them.

I have to say this was once of the best purchases and interactions with a dealership I've ever had! I drove in on a whim thinking all that I was reading was true, "there are no cars to be had in the market and what's out there is over priced". NOT TRUE! I had not driven the XC90 yet and was not even sure I was going to purchase a Volvo. Brian was the best sales associate and helped me with all of my questions and find the right car. Within a few hours we had a done deal with the help of the Sales Manager, Chris. No back and forth, I told them what I could do and I needed to make it happen or it was time to move on. Done, they made it happen and Moe was the final person to deal with in finance and he didn't try and upsell me at all! I appreciated the level of professionalism and respect for my time and what car was best for my needs. I LOVE my new car (used) and it is a dream to drive (my last car was Range Rover)! The best dealership and staff!

The service is always on point and I feel safe going back and telling them if something feels off or wrong. They have an amazing coffee bar and a fun lounge area. 5-Star Establishment! Best Volvo customer experience in Southern California I had an exceptional customer experience with Volvo Cars Mission Viejo thanks to the Sales Manager, Chris and Robert in Sales, who was my first contact with the dealership over the phone. I can't say enough about the level of professionalism and genuine thoughtfulness that Chris and Robert exhibited towards me. Two points I want to make: One, this is my fourth Volvo in the last 11 years. I know Volvo quite well and will never drive any other brand because Volvo is the safest car on the road. My first Volvo was a 2006 XC90 that I purchased in 2011. It was beautiful and people always thought it was younger than it actually was. Unfortunately, in 2017, an 80-year-old woman made a left turn in front of me. The airbag deployed and I knew my Volvo would be totaled because of its age and the impact. I was really upset. One of the officers at the scene saw how upset I was and said, "Your Volvo did what it was supposed to do." Of course, he was inferring to the fact that I survived the impact pretty much unscathed because of my Volvo. And to this day, I still take solace in his comforting words--and will never drive another brand. My close friend in the Bay area was impressed with my last Volvo and my first Volvo. And I subsequently talked her into leasing a 2021 Volvo XC60 hybrid which she absolutely adores. And two, I live in Santa Monica and drove 60 miles to Mission Viejo to test drive my current Volvo, which I fell in love with immediately. And I have to say that the outstanding treatment and attention I received from the dealership, specifically, Chris, made my trip well worth the drive and the gas! I've visited several Volvo dealerships over the past 11 years. Volvo Cars Mission Viejo is a five-star dealership and surpassed all my expectations. The car we bought is great but the service at Volvo MV is very poor. They rarely have a loaner car, or you get a car from Enterprise that smells like an ashtray don’t clean/wash your car when it comes in for service and the phone system is an absolute nightmare. To get ahold of anyone you can’t use the main line you must know someone to call or you’ll never get through. During the sales process, as soon as we’d signed the salesperson refused to answer any calls we made as to when we could pick up the car. We love the car, but probably wouldn’t buy another based on the service experience.

I had a manufacturer recall notice to bring our car in. I called and spoke with the service manager himself. Dave Anton. He set up an appointment for me at my convenience. When I arrived they swung into action and people immediately started working for me. When I picked up the car it had been detailed inside and out and it looked magnificent. This is a tremendously efficient dealership with great people working there. Good job Volvo MV!

Terrible experience with a new car from this dealer. It broke down after driving it home with battery part issues. Vehicle went back to the dealer for 4 days of service only to tell me they pulled a part from another vehicle on the lot. EXTREMELY POOR COMMUNICATION through this process where I had to follow up multiple times to figure out what was wrong with the car and when it would be fixed. Finally registration got sent to the wrong location months later… Chris, Brian and the team here turned a great car into a lemon just by the way this situation was handled Alas I chose this dealer because the Santa Ana Volvo Dealer told me the XC40 was a car designed by women as a “shoebox” only purchased by women…

We’ve never been happy with the repair shop at this dealership. Brought my car in a month ago. They held it for 2 weeks and ended up doing $1800 in repairs. Picked my car up and a day later it started making a high pitched screeching noise so we had to take it back. $800 more. No way that was a total coincidence but of course we had to pay for it. I bought my beautiful Volvo from Kyle at the mission Viejo branch. The whole experience was just wonderful. He was in regular communication with me as we were waiting for my car to arrive from Sweden.once I arrived at the dealership he had his team ready to quickly inspect the leased car o was returning. This is a review of their service department. I'll simply state the facts with the least bias as possible. 1) Scheduled a service and had a check engine light. They completed it on time and cleared the check engine light. 2) Two weeks later the check engine light is back, so took the car back to the dealership. They had it for two weeks and we were given a Hyundai Kona to drive. Bill ended up being over $1800 3) 24 hours later, a new check engine light came on and a screeching sound began that rendered the car unbearable. Four more days at the dealership, new bill was over $700 4) Immediately after driving off the lot, new mild screeching sound from the engine. Going to Volvo Orange County from now on despite it being twice the distance for us. Wishing anyone who goes to Volvo MV the best of luck.
