I contacted VCUnion last year to take advantage of the incredibly low mortgage rates. They denied me refinance even though the new rates would have only been $60 more than I was already paying (wanted to go to a 15 year). They denied me AFTER charging me $450 to have an inspector come out. This really ticked me off, and goes to show that these people are NOT willing to work with those of us who own small (yet successful) businesses

Been with VACU since 1987. Absolutely do not recommend VACU mortgage. Poor customer service. Every year I have to spend hours to renew my home insurance. Never had this issue with previous lenders.

I've been a member of the Virginia Credit Union for over a decade and I've used them as my primary bank. I started my small business with a mediocre financial literacy at best. Fortunately, VACU has been there to patiently answer my questions and help me establish a strong credit base. Every time I've been in, VACU and has worked with me, whether that's on a car loan or a loan so I can grow my business faster. Special thank you to Brian, who really went above and beyond answering my many questions and waiting for me to work up a budget before helping me get my loan approved. I feel like the VACU is dependable and has my best interests at heart. I strongly recommend them and their services.

I use to be an Account Holder, Takes Too Long to WAIT in the Drive Thru for 40 minutes for my Momma to get a Deposit done, really can't 👀 a teller through the Brick Wall unless U Got X-Ray Vision To 👀 2 Tellers To Tell Sumthin.

Both branches have excellent personable staff members. Several stands out clearly, Ryan, Donnell, and Karen whom I have known for many years. Wonderful staff members.

When we paid off our car loan, they sent us someone else's title and lost ours. If this bank can't keep track of a simple title pay off, I wouldn't trust them for anything. They also send a ton of junk mail.

This is the worst Credit Union on the planet!!!!! Dont get a loan with them! Twice they have taken car payments from me..Then turned around and reported me as being LATE!. Employees tell you false and misleading payment information on purpose ! ex...... You have a payment due on a Saturday and they will say "its ok.... just pay Monday". They will run and report you as being late! When you tell them you got that information from someone there.... They will say..."Thats your problem! They had the nerve to see if i wanted to bring my home loan to them...................Hell no!

Their banking app is horrible. Their wait time in drive thru lines is horrible too (30-40mins). AND no I do not wish to contact your team to talk further about my experience - hire more tellers and update/fix your app.

Whenever I conduct business it's always a friendly and pleasant experience. 😊

Wonderful Virginia Credit union is an awesome and amazing bank. They truly can about their customer.
