Brian Haake made my home owning experience as perfect as it could be. It didn't matter what time of day it was, if it was a Monday or a Sunday, Brian answered ALL of my calls/ emails, text within a few hours. Even when we was about to have his baby, he STILL manage to get back to me to make sure I was at ease and ready to close. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude to Brian or to describe his professionalism.

My fiance and I worked with Greg's team for buying our first home. Greg's team was extremely helpful and information throughout the process, even before we purchased a home. Jennifer Monahan came on board my team after another loan officer that I’d been working with for four months deserted me in mid contract for a home that I really wanted. Terrible experience! I just had a visit from the county inspector who told me that no one is supposed to be living in this house because there is no certificate of occupancy; I’ve been here since May 6th. I paid over $9000 in closing cost and VanDyke missed this document. I paid them to make sure everything was legal. I wish they would scrutinize their own procedures as closely as they did me. I have purchased and refinanced on other homes and I do not recommend this company.

Adam was excellent throughout the process, communicative and friendly. It was also great that he was there at closing. The electronic communication system went down between the closing company and the mortgage company, but he was able to send some of the last, revised signed documents to the lender for review/confirmation. This helped accelerate our closing so we didn't have to wait around for the regular system to come back online!

Adam is the most easy going, reliable, and friendly person! I trusted Adam 110% to get all of my (million) questions answered immediately. On top of everything and has a strong team. He made buying a house incredibly stress free. Loved working with him. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

Let me just say that as a military family who has worked with mortgage companies in the past, VanDyk blew us away with how wonderful they were. From the moment we reached out to them they were 100% with us. It didn't even matter that we were in Guam looking to purchase a house in North Carolina. They told us everything we needed to do and were with us every step of the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very good prompt communication on everything needed throughout the process, if an answer wasn't known off the top of their heads the person with the answer was contacted and then I got the answer I needed, I would work with Jamee and her crew again and again!

This is our second mortgage with VanDyk and they provided another incredible experience. It started with VDM willing to help our offer out by calling the selling realtor to express the strength in the pre-approval and us as buyers in general. Then our LO and team communicated with all parties involved proactively and clearly to make sure we closed on time and with as little stress as possible. We even had a hiccup in our financing a week from closing that caused extra paperwork but everyone was calm and focused on a smooth resolution. I was so anxious buying a house in this market but thrilled we went with VDM again and we can't recommend you guys enough to family and friends.

I recently purchased a home with VanDyk Mortgage, our agent was Christopher Silveira in Miami, FL. Christopher's work was terrible. The financial information he provided throughout the process was incorrect, he always promised a better interest rate and never said or did what he promised. After asking him several times about locking our interest rate, he never locked it and only 4 days before closing informed us of the final rate, which was 1 point above the market average, costing us over $35K. When we complained about the whole situation to him and his boss (Fred Dopman in DC), we were told: "well, you can go with another company", putting our deposit of $80K at risk and giving us no choice but to close with VanDyk Mortgage. After the "final" answer from Christopher and Fred, they just stopped answering the phone and our emails. If you decide to work with VanDyk Mortgage just know that that they do not care about their customers. We were just another transaction and a commission for them.

Worked with Nichole Goade and her team. They were highly efficient, friendly, and informative. Nichole answered all my questions and was able to get the loan done quickly without issues even though it was non-traditional and none of the other lenders I contacted could help me. I highly recommend this company and Nichole and her team. All done remotely too, so no issues having to travel or meet in person! Thank you Nichole and team at VanDyk for saving the day!!!

These guys are awesome! Called at lunch and had my rate locked in that same night. These guys worked around the clock to finish everything and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
