Do not deal with the tellers over banking stuff. I visited my local branch today about getting tap or fast tap on my card, and both tellers acted clueless then told me "not available" so I walked away and then snagged a loan officer who gave me the 800 number to call about getting a TAP card sent.

Excellent experience working with LMCU to get a HELOC. Antonaya was very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and just super solid.

LMCU is a great place to put some of your money. Up to 3% max rewards and 3% apy on balances up to 15,000. Sure, there are better ways to invest money, such as the stock market but that's for long term planning. For me LMCU holds 1) cash which I plan to spend in the near future 2) emergency fund. It's nice to have my emergency fund earn money for me. It's better than a money market, which would give me a lower percentage and takes days to transfer to a bank or credit union. Regarding this location, it tends to be busier, especially at peak times. However, I don't usually wait too long and for simple transactions there is mobile deposit. The location also has a couple of ATMs. If you're finding yourself waiting 10-15 minutes in line, pick an earlier time when it's less busy.

We love LMCU. This location is always busy. Could use more tellers but the product is still the same. We'd never take our money anywhere else.

Follow-up is terrible, I,m waiting on paperwork every time I call they say another 7-10 days.

Generally, I like this banking with LMCU and their mobile banking is good for only checking your balance and transactions. Their check deposits don't work all the time which is super inconvenient forcing you to have to go in person, lines, people etc. Their front line staff don't appear always to have the competence and/or authority to help you resolve issues. Today, I was super annoyed by the teller. This is a first world problem for sure, and for that I don't want to complain, but just to caution others about mobile banking check deposits and potential long waits at the branch. I went to deposit a small check thinking it would only take a few minutes. I make friendly conversation and mention to the teller that the mobile check deposit doesn't always work and also asked if they had a restroom since I noticed she was taking longer than usual. She tells me it was only for employees which is understandable, but then she tells me she can't deposit my check without calling the mobile banking dept. which could take another 20 mins! How could she expect me to wait 20 mins, I really had to go! I was cordially displeased. The lack of customer service will make me avoid this branch particularly. I will also stick to just depositing in the drive through and pray physical checks become obsolete so I can do all my transactions online/digitally and not have to deal with branches and people when banking.

I've had a good experience with LMCU. They've always been courteous and helpful, and their online banking system is very easy to use. Their call center reps are also very professional and helpful on the phone. I have been a long time member, I like this credit union more than any other bank I've used in the past.

Customer service is terrible at the Sparks branch. I’m so glad I’m never going back there. Member services reps need more training on available services and should probably stay away from arguing with the customer instead of offering to help. Particularly one that sits in the corner window cubicle. Or, at least know what you’re talking about before arguing. #getaclue and #learnsomemanners

This is the most understaffed location that I have been to in Grand Rapids the drive-thru always has long lines at least a 20-minute wait if you go inside they may have two people working and you still may have to wait a half an hour the drive-thru typically only one person working with at least 10 cars waiting management needs to get it together

This lmcu have the worse service the one in division 36th street is really the best service
