We had an awful experience with vandyke. They have horrible communication and gave us false information. We were on our way to close and no one notified us that the date was pushed back. Our realtor was very frustrated with them and told us it was the worst experience she has had with a mortgage company, and we can agree. Not to mention, our mortgage is still managed by them, and getting things done, like a reappraisal to remove pmi is taking months. I highly recommend choosing another lender.

Cynthia answered my calls at 8pm on a Friday night, at 10am on a Tuesday morning, and was always very helpful and personable. Her knowledge of both the mortgage technical details was thorough, and she even offered strategic tidbits about trends in the local real estate market that I found quite pertinent. I would gladly work with Cynthia again.
