Melissa was so great to work with on my auto loan! She was so helpful and quick to respond and made the process so easy. I did not even have to go into their office, I was able to do it all online. I would highly recommend using Utah First for your loans. I got a great rate and excellent service!

Wow I am just so grateful and so floored! I saw a billboard that said “We approve…judgement free.” They really mean it! Sarah Overton worked quickly and efficiently to help me get exactly what I needed AND surprised me by taking over my auto loan with a MUCH better interest rate and lower monthly payment. I don’t usually leave reviews right after experiences in financial institutions but I just so appreciated what they did for me today.

Great credit union with fair overdraft limits, very low overdraft fees, great rates on their auto loans, and great customer service. Haven't had a bad experience with them yet

Bryson Webb define what it means to have excellent customer service. This young man was quick easy and understanding when it came to helping me with my vehicle load. The young man has a very contagious smile , talking to him makes me want to smile. Overall one of my best experience with any credit union in Utah I recommend going to this young man for any of your vehicle no loans.

We've banked here for over 10 years, even though we've moved states several times (shared banking and mobile deposit features written great!). I can't say too many positive things about everyone I've crossed paths with in that time, these are human people who actually care and are excellent at their respective jobs. 100% recommend!

Cali and Allie were unbelievable. I haven’t seen proper communication and efficiency like this since the ‘95 -‘96 Chicago Bulls. This dynamic duo, nay - gruesome twosome, have clearly mastered the advanced financial expert technique that I like to call the Callie-oop.

Allie was amazing. She was so sweet, and helped me open an account and refinance my auto loan! The process was easy and quick, and I was able to do most of it from home! Communication was great! She answered my emails quickly, and same with my phone calls. Super awesome, and super excited to start banking through them, and not to mention, my refinancing went AMAZING! Got a way better % rate, and lower monthly payments, also!

Never got back to us for an auto loan. Had to reach out multiple times and finally got an answer that we don’t qualify for any amount. Went to America first and got qualified for 65k with the vehicle we wanted. How disappointing and unprofessional with utah first!

On Monday, November 15, 2021, I planned to meet a Utah First Credit Union’s member at the Midvale branch to purchase a truck that was financed by the credit union. I arrived early and the teller there helped me start the paperwork. The owner was running late and couldn’t make it before the branch closed. I drove 3.5 hours from Cedar City to conduct the transaction so the teller offered to take my cashier’s check, along with $4,500 in cash and deposit it with a 5 day hold until the sale was complete. He told me this would allow me the security by having it held by the credit union with it being 100% reversible should the sale fall through. He provided a receipt and I left the branch. The next 2 days, the owner of the truck went dark so since I had zero communication with him, I called the branch to see how I could get my money back. I was told I needed to contact my credit union and place a stop on the check. Unfortunately, it had already cleared. I called back and spoke to several employees before reaching the branch manager. After explaining the entire situation. I was told there’s nothing that can be done unless their member notified them that the transaction was canceled. At this point, I kept trying to call the truck owner and finally received a call back on Thursday. We finally met that evening so I could look over the truck and discovered several serious issues. I have a background working on trucks/vehicles so I was able to identify those problems immediately. Knowing that I could get my money back from the credit union, I told the owner I was going to pass on purchasing the truck. On Friday, I called the credit union and was told there is nothing that could be done for me to get my money back and I was stuck with this vehicle. At this point, I was out $24k, no truck, no title or bill of sale. Utah First CU left me high & dry. I had no options and was forced to take this truck. I had to rent a trailer because I seriously didn’t think it would make it back to my house. The next day, a couple mechanics I know came over to look at the truck. They discovered additional problems and now I’ll need to spend an additional $15k-$20 just to fix the problem that we know of. Credit unions are different from banks, they care about people. However, that can’t be said about Utah First CU. They took my money and left me with no choice but to take their member’s truck, even though it wasn’t near what he advertised it as. I hope anyone reading this considers doing their banking elsewhere.

Each time I call with a specific need, I've been well-taken care of, no matter how complicated the issue. I have never had this kind of experience with other banks. Well done, UFCU!

This is by far the worst Credit Union I have EVER made the mistake of joining. The fees, for (Heaven Forbid) an overdraft fee are ridiculous! The Savings and Checking rates are no better. I am closing all my accounts with this JOKE of a Credit Union. Biggest waste of my time.

What a great experience! Nick was very knowledgeable and made my vehicle refinance process a breeze. I was in and out in 30 minutes! Couldn't be happier with the help I received. Nick's know how and straightforwardness definitely turned me into a customer for life!

I joined Utah First Credit Union in 1996 when I moved here from Texas...I used the branch in Bountiful and then moved to the Midvale branch...I have heard my friends talk about how rude and uncaring their banks were...I am so grateful that is not my bank..Today when I drove up to the drive thru and Allie waited on me, I was so happy because she was so friendly and helpful...These young kids are a real credit to your bank...I appreciate so much her smiling face and fabulous service...Thanks Utah First for making my banking experience a joy...I love you guys...
