We’ve been with UCCU for a few years and always had a pleasant experience. The tellers and staff have always been kind and helpful. We recently decided to purchase a home and went through UCCU for a mortgage. We worked with Heidi P. and she had good communication throughout the process and made it as stress-free as possible. Would definitely recommend them for any banking/loan needs.

I just did my 3rd auto loan through UCCU and this one was even easier than the other 2. I was able to do the pre-approval online and then finalize it over the phone and email to just go and pick up a check and then take it to the dealership. The app works well and the online banking is super simple to manage.

I chose UCCU initially because I can get my UVU ID and a debit card combined and be able to keep track of what school actually costs. I arrived at the Saratoga Springs office because I hadn't heard anything back from my online application and the teller says I have to talk to a banker, I felt like I just had a xray from an experienced tec and have cancer, but they can't say it...I waited in a slow office about 15 minutes. 3 bankers, 2 finishing up with clients I was called by my husband and slammed them louder than usual about waiting and was called right over. The lady that helped me was amazing, more than made up for it. Originally made think I had to go to the school, but got me chatting and got everything for the account finished while I was there. Even let me know about how she got to know people when she moved to the area! It is so nice having a branch next to my favorite coffee place and In my school.

Poor choice of a local banking institution. I attempted to open a basic checking account to deposit some cashed-out crypto earnings. UCCU was the only local credit union listed as a partner in my crypto app. So, after opening my basic checking account, I receive a poorly worded request from some UCCU employee asking … For bank statements and records from my other banking institutions and lenders? What kind of Orwellian garbage is that? By my understanding, banks should be competing to earn your cash deposits. I’m taking my banking to Mountain America. No questions asked, opened my account and got a warm welcome and a handshake.

I have used UCCU for over 7 car loans now. They are extremely friendly and easy to work with. Even though living out of state creates some extra challenges they try to make it easy as possible.

Credit unions have a competitive advantage in consumer lending products such as installment loans and home equity loans. Not having to pay taxes and being less regulated than traditional financial institutions always helps. With UCCU, I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of their service

I have been a member of UCCU since 1977. They are a great organization with the highest standards of service. I have used them for mortgage and car loans an have always received great rates. Their staff are all highly trained and very friendly and professional.

These guys have amazing rates and I’m super happy with my auto loan. However, I was approved for a Credit Card and told by Z*** that I could send my wife to pick up the card at our local branch. When she went to the branch they informed us that Z*** hadn’t finished the application. I couldn’t get a hold of him because he left for the weekend. The branch was 25 min from our house. The following week, I called and emailed Z*** multiple times. When I received a response, he told me that they needed more information but was very vague. The tonality of my conversations with Z*** from this point on were that of discontent and annoyance. He was tough to communicate with and ultimately went back on what he originally told me. I was not approved for the card and from my point of view it was in large part due to his incompetence communicating between me and the underwriters. A huge waste of time for all parties.

Amazing Curtis L been helping me moving few loans over, and done a fantastic job super quick response and gets everything done super fast. I been with this bank for over a year and everything is always smooth, and if you go to the branch I usually go to the Draper one always super helpful, Zach at the Draper branch freaking amazing too, every time I need something just like Curtis, always happy to help and fast.
