    One of the more frustrating companies/banks we have dealt with in the 30 years we’ve lived In Lexington. They often make mistakes and then just as often blame the customer. Just know that if you do any business with this bank there will be lots of things to fix over the years. It has been nothing too earth-shattering or expensive for us. But always frustrating and inconvenient. The low reviews are an accurate reflection of their service.

    Very frustrating experiences with this bank. Have had my card frozen with no warning over purchases they thought were fraudulent but were not. That's fine, security and all, but my issue is they never told me and I didn't figure it out until I went to buy something and bam, card doesn't work. Recently my card information was actually stolen. It happened over a week ago, I was told my money would be returned and I'd have a new card by now and neither of these things happened. Apon calling them I find out there was no paperwork or record that I had ever called them about it the first time when it happened. I have things I need to pay for, and am now being told it might be another week until i have a new card. Will definitely be changing banks once my money is returned. Edit: my review has been changed for 2 stars to 1. Every time I call the bank for an update I receive a different answer. I am not being told I won't be refunded until possibly nearly a month after it was stowln?? What?? People have bills to pay. This kind of thing is completely unacceptable and most of the people I have spoken with have been rude and defensive. My entire family will be changing banks asap. This is insane

    WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT UNION. This is one of the most frustrating banks. Their portal is out of date. If you have any automatic payments set up, they do not get taken out on time, you will spend hours on the phone trying to speak to a person, and they outsource their loans to other companies. Also, good luck getting a straight answer from them. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

    Rude and hateful, one of the worst bank I had to deal with. My husband passed away and was in the process to get the loan move over to my name. I was told it was on the repo list because the owner is deceased. I explained that the payments was current and was told I doesn't matter

    This bank has to many online banking issues. It's like their IT department is years behind. We have had issues for years now and where some of our loans are through UKFCU we would have to refinance car loans to switch away from this bank. We have also had issues with automatic payments not going through or being payed. Online banking shouldn't be difficult and a costumer shouldn't have to worry if their automatic payment is going to come out. We have had to call several times because we get locked out of our accounts. This place does make banking easy and to be honest is almost a hassle when something needs to be addressed.

    This credit union is the worst. I have a better chance reaching an Xfinity cable customer service rep. Do not get a loan from this bank; their rates are higher then other credit unions. And the standard of service they strive shows by all these reviews.

    EDIT BELOW THIS: One of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life and I don't mean with just banking. Started an auto loan with them but apparently, they have been switching online systems so making a payment is next to impossible. Not a single staff members from here reach out to me since it was "set up" by a third-party company. I was under the impression payments would be automatically withdrawn as they took my routing and account number, this didn't happen. No one called me until days after the payment was already 30 days late. They are unwilling to work with you in any way the reviews of this place make complete sense. I've filled a complaint with the BBB not sure how they maintain an A rating over there. Must be because they "respond." My advice take your busy anywhere else I will 100% be looking to switch who I have my loan with. I made the payment as soon as I figured out it was made but they still want to leave that on the credit report. Not to mention the first payment made was applied to the principal balance for some reason. EDIT: The email address they post in the replies doesn't not work. I've sent email from 3 addresses and none work.

    Customer service is AWFUL. They do not know how to answer ANY questions about my loan, they just know how to make payments. I have asked if my payments will go to principal and they say "I don't know my system doesn't tell me" My questions never get answered. I have tried emailing and get no help either. I have asked several different people about my loan and they never have an answer. They also will charge you $10-25 to pay your loan payment over the phone everytime! Avoid avoid avoid!

    Once upon a time UKFCU was a financial institution synonymous with excellent customer service. Somewhere along the way it was lost. One on one relationship banking has given way to a call center experience second only to the DMV. There are options in the banking world, I recommend exercising those options.

    Stay away from Irma Rivera/Jaime Rivera which ever she presents herself as. She has been absolutely no help she won’t let me speak to a supervisor has told me multiple times she’d have one call me just to get me off the phone. I take it they don’t have anyone monitor or coach them on how they handle customers or she wouldn’t have a job. She is absolutely 0 help and a nightmare to deal with. Has held up my business for over a week now being difficult.

    The only thing I have ever gotten out of banking with UKFCU is inconveniences and a headache. The staff is unhelpful and act like robots instead of human beings. I cannot WAIT to switch banks.

    Can do much better than this company at another bank. Interest rate is overly expensive compared to other banks. Also the website for payments is a hassle and doesn’t post half the time or doesn’t take your funds with automatic payments. BBB doesn’t apply when compared to real reviews from real people. If thinking about auto loan through this company I’d think again.

    Just don't get the credit card. If you don't put a travel notice before you go on a trip even just to TN the card gets shut off for fraud prevention. And to turn it on is there an automated text to reply to or something on the App? NOPE. Call card services, add the trip info. Then call member services, who will tell you to call card services. Then card services says to call fraud services, sit on hold 30 minutes. Then when they don't pick up call card services and ask about member services. Whoops member services office that deals with this particular issue is only open 9am to 1pm mon-fri. So if this is the only card you have on you guess you can just ask all your friends to chip in on dinner.. Most absolutely pathetic service I've ever had with a credit card. Will be transferring the balance and ditching the card asap. Just unimaginably useless.
