Unitus Community Credit Union Sw Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Beaverton

This credit union is worse than the big banks. They will nickel and dime you to death, including opening an account and if your account is dormant they have the gaul to want to charge $5 a month.

Came in without an appointment trying to get approved on a car that’s in another state. Angel took care of me from the moment I walked in. He even went far enough to call the dealership in a different state and tell them i was approved which I really needed

It seems every time I visit this bank in person, I have a reasonably complex request. They never dissappoint. Today I went in with several needs and Angel handled them all expertly and expediently. Every detail was double checked and verified, all while being respectful of my time.

Buying a new car has never been easier. Worked with Omar who couldn't have been more professional. He went above and beyond to get my loan application approval, and was super thorough about walking me through the documentation and steps necessary to get the check for the car purchase. A truly outstanding experience.

I worked with Omar and team on an auto loan. I called about 20 places around town and nobody came close to his rates. I also needed the loan done in a day (during the busiest time of year). Omar and team got it done in literally a few hours. They're the best, most professional team I have ever worked with. If you get an auto loan elsewhere, not only are you a fool, but you're giving away money given that nobody's rates will beat Omar and team. This was also my first time doing an auto loan (n00b) and they walked me through the entire process making it so easy. .....like I said- go to Omar and team. I had a wonderful experience at the drive through window with bank teller, Omar. He was extremely patient, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I appreciate everyone at this bank and feel uplifted when I leave. Thank you Unitus employees for all that you do. Yesterday I took my daughter to Unitus to open up an account. India was so warm, friendly and helpful. The whole experience was positive for all of us including our dog who came in to say "hi" to everyone. Omar was awesome! I went to the Beaverton Unitus to set up a business bank account not realizing my appointment was for a later date. Omar was able to get me all set up at the drop of a hat. This branch is consistently a good experience. Orderly and efficient, with pleasant and personable staff. They even have Spanish-speaking staff. I've been going to this branch for around a decade, now. It's been a decision without regrets. If you haven't switched to a credit union yet, do so. The experience is worlds above what you'll see at a traditional bank. And many credit unions cooperate so that you don't get ATM fees between them.

Unitus Community Credit Union - Beaverton Hillsdale Branch is incredible! They have met and surpassed all my expectations of a bank. They treat you with professionalism, and best of all actually care for you as an individual. I switched over from a large brand name bank several years ago and have never doubted that decision. Even during the early days of the pandemic they were efficient, and accessible. That made for an already difficult time that much easier to access my monies. I appreciate their work ethic at Unitus, and really appreciate their engagement on a personal level. Not many companies (especially banks) have the rapport with their clients these days. I have been with Unitus for a few years now and finally decided to look into buying a new (to me) car. I had the absolute, utmost pleasure working with Omar C. Omar was thorough and was available to answer any and all questions! Whether it be by phone or by email. Going into this alone, I didn't know much about what to ask for, what services to be wary of, or, to be honest, anything at all when it came to buying a car. I mentioned to Omar that at times, especially being a woman and a POC, I sometimes felt that the cards were never dealt in my favor and was worried that I would taken advantage of buy a salesman who was looking to make a sale that wouldn't be in my best interest. Omar reassured me again and again that as a fellow POC, he understood exactly where I was coming from and that with his help, I would find the car that was meant for me. This, of course, meant the world to me. During the WHOLE PROCESS, Omar gave me nothing but the advice that I am so very thankful for. He is a true asset to Unitus and if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be in a car that I absolutely love today! Omar C. deserves all the best when it comes to raises, benefits, promotions, etc. I would love to see him in a position as a Branch Manager if he ever got the opportunity to go for it. I have been with other CU's and even worked for one that is very well known throughout the PNW and I can honestly and truly say that because of Omar's efforts, genuine kindness, and above & beyond service, Unitus now has another member for life. Kevin Moon at Unitus is the best of the best when it comes to Financing a home! He was honest, responsive and friendly when it came to the whole process. We definitely will be back next time around.

I recently worked with Kevin for a refinance and it was a terrific experience! Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and he was helpful every step of the way. I have banked at Unitus for a long time now, and just the best experience. I hadn't been inside a branch since March due to the pandemic, and needed to bring my mother to sign important papers with a notary. Omar served us. He was not only professional with the papers, he was charming with my mom, who doesn't leave the house anymore except for the doctor. We were delighted by the personal touch. I needed to open a new bank account and dropped by this branch. I talked to a teller that let me know I needed to schedule an appointment, but one of the bankers Omar, overheard me and said his appointment had just cancelled so he could help me out. Omar was a LIFESAVER, he was able to get me and in out very quickly, while I was holding my 1.5 year old son, who was being super wiggly and wanting down. Omar talked to him and was able to even joke around with him a little bit which helped immensely.
