Union Bank CA, Rancho Mirage

I always thought this bank was okay, but honestly the head bank teller is so rude. She gives you attitude if you aren’t the banks client… I come here monthly and this is the first time she ever helped me and I hope it’s the last one. But the other ladies are very nice minus whoever this lady is (head teller manager?)

My credit card got eaten by their ATM machine because I was used to the old machines where I live giving you your money then returning your card. I kept trying to open the cash dispenser and helplessly fumbled around and I couldn’t figure it out then my card got sucked in after about 30 seconds. I drove 180 miles to the branch in the morning to be the first person there but they had already shredded my card before they opened that morning. There is no hotline to call to tell them to hold your card. They shred them right away. They were very friendly and helpful setting me up with a new card which took about 2 weeks to get to me.

I went to this branch of Union Bank in Rancho Mirage to cash a check as a non-customer. I had to stand in line even longer because this woman that appeared to be the branch manager upset one of the tellers so much that the teller started crying and ended up closing her window. I guess it was the branch manager that was talking to the teller and she came from behind the teller line. I couldn't believe the inappropriate way she was dressed. It looked as if she was going to a nightclub or something. If this is representing Union Bank I sure am glad that I don't bank with you guys. I just had to let you know that whatever role this lady named Crystal is in your company, it appears that she is mentally abusive to her staff. Shame on you Union Bank for allowing this behaviour in a work place.

This bank use to be a superb bank. It has gone down hill sadly to say. A couple of the tellers are not real friendly at all nor as helpful as they should be. In fact a couple of the tellers are a little rude. Even the bank manager Charlene is a bit rude. I have even thought about going to a different bank. I am so very displeased with this bank. Hope some of the people that work there better their dispositions. Their positions or demeanors need to be like Andrea’s. She is the reason I continue to go there. Michelle Harris
