Very kid friendly! I stayed here with my 1 year old on a family vacation. She had a blast in the pools, on the splash pad, and sandy area. The spa was also excellent with fabulous amenities! I hope to return some day. Shout out to the hostess in the restaurant (i didn’t catch her name) who found me some milk for my baby and saved me a trip to the grocery store with a fussy baby after a long travel day. Thank you for going above & beyond!

This is a very good place to stay for kids & family. Free ice cream anytime you want at the front desk. Lots of kids activities, movies at the pool, bouncy houses and the list go on. Check with the hotel concierge to find out what’s happening when you stay . The lazy river is 3.5 feet deep and kids and adults have lots of fun. 2 Water slides but only one is working now ( for the next few weeks) but the line is very short. Cabanas available to rent . Free parking. Basic options for Breakfast with kids menu. Live music playing at Dinner . All the stuff here are super friendly and helpful they always come to check on you and how the can make you feel comfortable.

We just had a fantastic stay here celebrating our son’s birthday! The sincere friendliness and helpfulness of the staff exceeded expectations. Splashtopia was great kid fun! The resort overall is gorgeous and laid out beautifully. Food was tasty. That said, the rooms are tired and in need of a complete rehab. It wouldn’t take much to make this a magnificent 5 star resort. They already have the grounds, ambiance, and most importantly, service/staff to pull it off. Thanks for a fun weekend!

Formerly an incredible 5 star resort, the Omni LA Costa Carlsbad has beautiful grounds, but is in desperate need of a renovation, and is being operated by the most incompetent stingy one 🌟 ownership. As soon as you book the hotel you get an email and a text message that check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am and there will be no changes granted. They will continue to text and email you this information a half a dozen additional times over your stay. When you enter the lobby it looks great but everything else is a disaster. The carpets in the room hallways look similar to those of circus circus. They're old stained and torn. The room was tiny and old and dirty. Only one vanity, no tub, no mini bar, no room service, no water, and they offer you $100 to not provide housekeeping. It's operated like a one star motel at $700 per night. Anything you request will take over an hour. The pool has weathered pool seats, exposed rust on all the metal including the handrails, and cold pools. The food is an absolute disaster and at 5 star prices. The steakhouse in the hotel was very good since it's operated by another owner. To add insult to injury the manager promised me a credit after he agreed with my complaints which was never applied. It's a shame this former stunning resort is in the hands of someone who should be operating a motel. Stay far away from this disaster and save your money. Nothing "LUXURY" here.

Pool is decent, room is average. Walls are VERY thin so pray your neighbor doesn't snore. Everyone is experiencing employee shortages however this place seems to not be training the new people well either. Hard to get a drink at the pool or to even order dinner. Check in was a nightmare with sometimes an hour wait. Check out was rough as there is no elevator, I was on second story and no bellhop ended up showing even with repeated calls. I think this has a potential to be a nice facility, but without good people, things don't work well. It seems like owners are happy to allow you to have a less than experience, but not happy to discount pricing. Cost here is prohibitive is service stinks.

Departed yesterday from Omni Rancho Las Palmas Room 1612. 4 night stay with my son while he played in a golf tournament. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Property is fairly run down but the real problem is nothing works and the service is awful. $380/night. Ice machine out for 4 days. Hair dryer and desk lamp not working in room. Long black hairs in shower upon check in. No maid service for 3 days and maid on duty seemed confused when I pointed that out. Asked front desk for pizza delivery recommendation and 2 employees at desk could not have been more disinterested. This hotel doesn’t appreciate your business or care about the quality of your experience. I’ll never stay here again.

This hotel has the best pool; it's heated and even has two water slides. The lazy river is fair; they need to remove the extra unused tubes out of the river. The pool service is great; food is good and their waiters are nice.

My wife and I were hoping to pick a kid friendly hotel in or around the Palm Springs area and we definitely hit a homerun in selecting the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa! Our 7 year old son had a blast playing in the lazy river, going down the water slides, relaxing in the hot tubs, feeding ducks and taking part in the various daily arts and crafts projects hosted by the staff! My wife and I enjoyed relaxing poolside with delicious food and cocktails. I would like to send a special thanks to Zaira, the hotel manager on duty during our arrival. She took special care of us and it was clear to see that her (super nice) staff loved working with her. Thank you Omni staff!

Amazingly well designed resort, food and drink is really damn good, and the staff are easily the best part in an already amazing experience. The hotel is well staffed in quantity and quality, special shout outs to Raquel who leads kids activities, the concierge, and everyone at BluEmber. We will def be back!

Day one, I wasn't able to check in until around 5:30pm. The rooms were acceptable but really not amazing (foam pillows, hard beds). They gave us a room with a door divider between the other room, could hear the other room very clearly. We moved rooms, basically same problem. Grounds are nice and the staff was pleasant and responsive. Not sure if I'd stay here again, probably look for a better option.

This place is huge! We attended a wedding here and some wedding related events. The spaces were used were beautiful. Food served during the wedding was also good. Really loved the easy river in the pool area

Room wasn't ready by the time on the website stated. When we complained about it, the manager had an attitude. Absolutely zero hospitality. Read the other reviews. So many things were broken. Slides, misters, stairs, flooring, etc... List goes on. The lazy river was disgusting, it left a film on our bodies. I'm pretty sure that's how Covid started. Had to be in the Omni's lazy river. There was construction going on and this should have been mentioned on the website. We couldn't even get a late check out for all the inconveniences. The only thing 4 star about this place are the prices.

The resort is always fun! It was clean and the restaurants are good as well. The pool area is fantastic for kids. The employees are all helpful. Especially Matthew and elias were wonderful servers. Very attentive.

Just went for the day. Rented a cabana and had a blast. Service was spectacular and the food fabulous. The lazy River was so fun, even we adults had a great time. Go enjoy a great time!

Horribly overpriced and in terrible condition. Lobby and rooms are ok, but for $600 a night I expect a quality property and service. Potholes throughout parking lot, can barely see lines for parking places. Fencing rusting, peeling paint, full of cobwebs. Landscaping/seasonal flowers dying in many places. Frankly looks like a foreclosure property. Staff at pool area bar totally ignored us, too busy chatting among themselves. We finally walked up and ordered. Note you cannot book room onsite. We called to see if they had rooms (were on way home from AZ), they did, but we wanted to see property before booking. Lobby was lovely so decided to stay but you can only book online! So staff told us to sit in lobby and reserve using our phone. I guess if your phone is dead you can't stay?!

The property is very well cared for, beautiful, and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was also great!

27 holes of golf on resort. Great place for kids, plsy & pool with water features. Adult only pool available. Nightly live music with gas fire pits and tiki torches. Food & bar excellent but pricey.

We just got back from a 3-day stay. Top notch. My self-proclaimed "well-traveled" (and annoyingly-opinionated) kids/teen loved everything about it. The icing on the cake for me was the Director of Engineering (Mark/Matt/Brian?) stopping his busy day to explain to me the awesome kids/teen center they are currently building. We'll definetely go back. Clean pools/rooms/grounds, and this is coming from a germs/bugs freak.

Cut our internet before checkout, charged for fast internet, dirty pools, crazy room service fees, rude front desk staff. Coffee was decent though. Housekeeping team were mostly pleasant despite taking three calls to get a roll of toilet paper. Four stars? Lol

Friendly staff, great location, close to restaurants and shopping. Toilet in the room was making a loud noise and the carpet was not the cleanest. The place could use a slight remodel.

Extremely friendly and welcoming front desk service at check-in with generous welcome amenities for every tier level (two free beers just for having signed up for Omni? Amazing!). WiFi on property was ok, with a free 10mbps tier and paid 30; I wish hotels would just offer great internet without trying to nickel and dime. The property wraps around a separate golf course, which makes the setting picturesque and the topology awkward since you need a pretty circuitous route to get from one point in the property to another. Location was half a block away from a high end mall and theater complex with good food and drink options. Hiking options seemed plentiful but with small kids in tow and steep slopes this sadly wasn't out family's focus on this visit. On property there is a small but entertaining waterpark dubbed "Splashtopia" that is - as far as I can tell - the _only_ outdoor water park of any sort open in California in February, making it a primary draw for families. Two small slides, a large shallow pool, and a very vigorously circulating "lazy" river completes the park. The slides and river are well-attended by lifeguards but the pool is more of a free-for-all. There is a walk up bar somewhat awkwardly positioned on the far side of the building adjacent to the pool and cheerful if rather variable poolside service. The drinks and food poolside were pretty solid. The mojito in particular was quite good. The room itself was pretty economically sized with a king size bed, cute mini balcony and dorm fridge. There's a little Keurig and a combo shower / bath with serviceably hot water at an okay pressure. Tap water was a little hard but ok. The evening before our departure I called in a breakfast request for 7am. They picked up quickly and cheerfully copied the order. At 6:59am our phone rang to let us know that one of the items I had ordered was "no longer on the menu" (??) and took my replacement request, explaining that breakfast would be arriving our room at 730. Thankfully it did show around 715, albeit the "fresh orange juice" for which I paid $6 was a bottle of grocery store Tropicana and similarly the "fresh grapefruit juice" was a store bottle of water, sugar, and grapefruit concentrate. Boo. Our "pot of coffee" showed up as three plastic covered styrofoam cups but was okay. Overall it was a pleasant stay but it was not the sort of over-the-top amazing experience one would expect for what netted out to some $800/day. At $300/night this would be a no-brainer.

Enjoyed time with family and friends by the pool and lazy river. Called a head for a Cabana which was well worth it. Clean rooms and food on the property was good as well.

Not the best. Pool has strict start and end times. Fun kids pool closes at 6 and opens at 10am. Food is overpriced. Customer service is poor. Wouldn't go back.

This is an older resort and the room show that. Overall the spread out facility is ok for keeping guests from all congrating in any one area.

This is perfect for a quiet getaway. The setting is peaceful and the staff are friendly. The grounds are well maintained.

I was here 2 weeks ago and really love this resort. Especially for a quick getaway with the kids. The kids absolutely love the pool and lazy river. The staff is amazing and nice. The rooms however do need some deep cleaning Especially for the price you pay for. I paid over 600 for a room and the beds had stains on the pillow cases and even on the comforter from the previous guest. Some of the pillow cases had makeup stains. The quality of the food is really good there and the staff is amazing.

This hotel is in NEED of a major renovation and/or a new owner. We where there on Friday 2/11/2022. It is a mess. The parking area in the back by the rooms needs to be replaced. The paint on the buildings is faded down and dirty. Seriously, clean it up. It's embarrassing for Rancho Mirage, CA.

Had a lovely facial from Jadranka. She was awesome! Overall the spa facilities were very nice. Oscar the mens locker room attendant was very helpful and nice.

Beautiful resort! The pool was great for everyone, especially in the heat. Rooms were decorated nicely. My only issue is with the rooms that have an optional, adjoining door, you can hear your neighbor a little too well... Other than that, the customer service was great and the food in the reception areas was tasty.

The resounding theme for the weekend was "just OK". Definitely not four star quality and the price they are charging per night. Came for a wedding hosted at the hotel. Even though we made a reservation with wedding room block they placed us in one of the farthest buildings from the remainder of the wedding guests. We were told other wedding guests were in the same building, but everyone we talked to was in one of the close in buildings. We were told we would have a view of the golf course, but the view was just of the building in front if the golf course. The inside of the room was just OK. Nice size, but not updated to the quality it should be. Some of the decor was from the 70s and 80s, such as bathroom doors with slats so you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the bathroom. Multiple outlets were loose and would not work when electronics plugged in (both wall plugs and plugs on the lamps by the bedside table). Copper faucets and showerhead had rust and hard water staining. Bench for make-up had black stains on upholstery. Several tiles in the shower had holes in them that were not filled. Towels were the roughest I have every felt...I think Motel 6 has softer ones. Staff, when you can find them for help, were just OK. Excuses were given for everything. When we checked in we were told that we could call for a golf cart ride when needed since our building was so far out. When being driven to the building I mentioned getting a ride to the wedding the next day, since it is across the property, and was told they probably wouldn't have time since they were too busy. That left a very poor impression since they are the ones who made our room so far from the wedding venue (I have an old injury to my ankle that makes walking in nice shoes/heels difficult). Was anything terrible during my stay? No, but nothing was great either. Everything was just ok, and I expected more all around from a four star resort.

We stayed in a suite and each morning at 6:30 they allowed construction to start but it wasn’t their fault because “it’s a third party” working for them. In our SUITE, they had broken mirror hanging off the wall, etc. We scheduled golf days ahead of time and they delayed an hour once we got there then another hour after we waited the first. "We can cancel your reservation" was the only option they gave us. There was a wedding the week we were there and we barley made it to our reservation because staff made the wedding block the priority - even though we paid $700/NIGHT to stay. The whole place feels really old and STAFF DOES NOT CARE.

Returned from the weekend stay there with the family after visiting the place 3 times prior. Staff is very friendly and there are lots of great restaurants nearby. I was expecting to relax and get a good night of sleep but instead we could hear foot steps above us and talking next to us. The rooms are simply not soundproofed enough and with the place being kids friendly you cannot have a restful nights of sleep. If you are going to relax this is not the spot, great for kids playing in the water.

No parking anywhere for guests and construction everywhere not to mention the rundown room that has no soundproofing at all and a loud fan or generator running all night plus loud neighbors this hotel is not a 4 star I will be staying at a different hotel for my next business trip oh before I forget to mention there is no free wifi either .

Positive: Great water park and activities for kids! Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Negative: Expensive restaurants. You have to pay for the kids activities as they're not complimentary.

Great family resort! Came here with some close friends for a weekend getaway and we all had a fun time. The lazy river was our favorite amenity at the hotel. That alone was worth the trip. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the food at the resort was excellent. My only complaint is we were able to hear everything that was said in the room next to us. The next door guests weren't being loud, but for some reason their conversation could be clearly heard through the doorway that connected our two rooms. We had a hard time sleeping because they were up late talking. We didn't want to complain because they weren't doing anything wrong. Just unfortunate that sound carries so easily through the walls.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here earlier this month for our babymoon and we had a great stay! The grounds are well-kept and perfect to walk around. The patio area near the lobby was so peaceful and we enjoyed the beautiful golf course views and firepits. The exterior buildings are charming and the overall vibe was much more quaint than other hotels (aka the JW Marriott). There are 3 pool areas: one is an adults-only pool near the lobby, one is just a normal pool with a little restaurant, and the other is a lazy river with 2 water slides, splash pad, and covered sand beach area. Thankfully there were tons of umbrellas out and it was easy to get a spot at the pools. We camped out by the lazy river and had a blast (although they randomly closed the river from 1-2pm everyday, but you can just move on over to the normal pool during that time). You can also order off the menu from the little restaurant by the normal pool and get it delivered to you at the lazy river area. We were surprised how good the food was and how big the portions were. We had a king room that looked over the golf course (I think we were in building 23). The room itself was spacious and had a patio, but it was overdue for a remodel. The carpet had seen better days and the color palette made it seem very dark in there. There were also these tiny bugs (like ants, but smaller and not ants) that had overtaken the counters. It didn't seem as clean as it could've been in there. The bathroom shower and tub combo didn't include any grab handles, which seemed unsafe to me (although we were not in an ADA room). Again, I think a remodel for the rooms would be a good idea. We stayed Tuesday - Saturday and the hotel didn't seem that busy, but we were still placed next to other people. Our rooms shared an interior door, which meant we could hear their terrible music, conversations, tv, etc. playing a little too well. I wish we had been spread out a little more. Definitely bring ear plugs so your neighbors don't bother you.

The price of the hotel and experience were not aligned. We went to the resort in September. This hotel is run down snd needs some serious TLC if they are going to continue charging the prices they do. The rooms were musky old smelling and at night the air conditioning unit in our room was so noisy that is actually woke us up. Then there was a low grade noise on the roof snd it sounded like a helicopter landed on the roof. This would never be first choice for me again. The staff was nice and friendly during out stay without a doubt.

Not a 5 STAR HOTEL! I would rate it a 3.5 at best. Pool was way to hot especially on a 100° day. BAD EXPERIENCE for my 10yr old and 16 yr old. Maintenance personnel came in announced and startled them so much they ran out and came to the pool to get us with fear in the eyes. We have been here a couple of times and will explore something nicer next time in Palm Springs.

Do not stay here if you want to sleep at night. You can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. Complete disaster and the service is trash !!! There is no way this is a four star hotel.

Best getaway EVER! The lazy river, water park and pool were all fabulous. We had no time restrictions for the use of the facilities like we thought would be in place so very glad about that. The check-in and out were seamless, although they need more than one person working the front desk. I wish the rooms were cheaper but it is such a beautiful resort, especially for families. Love Splashtopia! A good time was had by all! Can't wait to return!

Always a fan of a lazy river! Kids love it and we float around lazy river in intertubs all day. Can't beat it. Nice location too. Beautiful landscapes on property. Food overall okay, kinda pricey. Rooms are nice but nothing over the top. Overall expensive but worth it for us.

The staff made every effort to accommodate my unique situation. Monica the massage therapist was excellent.

The staff is nice and pool area is great with slide and lazy river but it closes for an hour from 1 to 2. You have to pack up your stuff and wait in another line to get back in at 2... no wifi, no room service, some outlets in the room don't work. It just seems like Management may have had to make too many cuts for this to continue being a quality resort. The room could really use a deep clean since there is still trash and a thick layer of dust on kid's toys next to the broken outlet... even a sock that is collecting dust back there. Lol! Maybe things will get better in the future but we'll be trying a different resort next time.

Room wasn't that clean. There was hair in the shower, one of the lotion bottles was previously used, and one of the towels had dirt on it. The pools were good but there were old beer cans, cups and trash everywhere along the splashtopia stream. Breakfast at BluEmber was good but a bit overpriced for the quality you received. Pluses are the comfy beds, the big balconies, and the Nest amenities.

This place is Beautiful and a good choice for a quick girl's get-a-way! The room was very clean and neat with a 2nd floor view of the golf course. We enjoyed a relaxing spa day, breakfast at the Blue Ember, and the lazy river. However, in the evening after a long day in the Palm Springs 🌴 heat, we wanted to get ice, go to our room, and relax on the balcony. First, the ice machine didn't work, we called the front desk. They apologized, advised they weren't aware, but it would be fixed, and brought ice to the room. The 2nd night, we were told to walk over to the neighboring bldgs., MAYBE the ice machines would be working. We refused to take that chance in the heat, so we were place on hold until a manager gave the okay for an ice delivery. Once on the balcony we had an unwanted visitor, someone was flying a drone very close to our room. It was very uncomfortable and felt evasive. This drone flew really close and we weren't sure what it could see or where it came from.

Great visit. Only issue was work bring done on room above mine 1717 at 9am while resting before my long drive home. This is very poor planning on your staff - if a room does not have a check out time until noon - you should not assign work-orders before then. And when I spoke to the manager she stated "But it's pass 9am", not sure she valued my concern.

Had dinner at the restaurant and it was awsome! And staff was great!. Look forward to having dinner again soon..

The nicest staff and great resort for a well overdue vacation

Spa gets 5 stars, but the hotel only 3. I wish I could find a category for just the spa. Massages at some resorts are frequently "phoned in" since clients may not be repeat or regular customers. However, Alex (female masseuse) Is top notch! She is just the right amount of talk/ not talk, and surprisingly powerful! I had such a great massage, that my daughter in law visited the next day. She was as happy as I with her service from Alex. Additionally, the spa support staff poolside and in the locker rooms are delightful. Overall the spa pools, saunas, and treatment areas are a welcome respite from the bustling family-friendly hotel grounds. Highly recommend.

Great spot! Accommodations are spread over several buildings so I found it very quiet at the back of the resort (beside the gold course) with convenient parking right outside my room. An amazing spot for kids with the lazy river, water slide and sand beach with sun shade. I especially enjoyed the adjacent cabana areas. Resort was clean and well maintained ... I will be back.

Fun experience, but rough around the edges. Soap dispensers in the room were empty, tile was broken, and balcony knob was broken. Pool is great for families.

Great place for families. Pool area with slides and river are great. The place sure can use an entertainment crew for kids activities during the day and evenings, there is nothing for kids to do in palm springs outside the hotels.

A great place for a mini family vacation. The hotel itself is a little dated, but it adds to the charm of the place. The best part of this resort is the outdoor facilities- 3 pools, snack bars, and Pete’s Coffee shop poolside with a great alternative breakfast menu, if you do not want to eat at the restaurant. Outdoor seating by the main lobby will have you wanting to lounge all day. The rooms are pretty good, not fantastic, but also not terrible. Our room had a balcony opening up to a golf course and open land, which was really nice and quiet. I loved sitting out there in the mornings. The Spanish decor in our bathroom was really nice and gave the room some flavor. The resort is pretty spread out, so if you want to minimize your walking, you should definitely make sure you book your room close to the pool area(s). I am sure there are newer resorts in the area for the price you would pay here, but it is still a good place to relax and enjoy for a weekend.

Hotel Standards in the room - Expected more from the rooms from shower heads not fully cleaned, toilet paper dispensers not tight, paint quality not great, chips on would, caulking not good or kept up, air filters dirty , and more if I wanted to keep on going. I used to be in the property management field and know about this things. For a higher end hotel with the higher prices I would expect higher standards for a place like this. It also took them about 3 hrs at least to get filter replaced for a job that takes less than 5 min. Reason for not reporting at time of stay is because it wasnt effecting my stay and was only there for a day. Just reporting it here because they need to have the facilities manager on top of stuff like that. Property - Beautiful place with great amenities and location near a center that has lots to offer. Price - The norm for a place like this. Pool - The pool here is great because they have a regular pool, lazy river pool, slides, water play area, and a sand area for younger kids to play. Service - People here are great and very friendly. Overall a great place, would come back again but they need to keep up the rooms.

Hotel was fine, however, our bathroom toilet was constantly plugged, it was very inconvenient.

Many hidden fees that were not disclosed at time of reservation. Told I would most likely get a late checkout then when asked was told no more available until I pressed then was told I would have to pay for it . I have never paid for a late checkout. $75 wow

Great spot for kids. The pool was great, a couple large and popular hot tubs. Water slide was a hit. Kids need to be 42” to ride the slides, they check every time. Tons of lifeguards who are active. Almost too strict about playing in the pool. Great beach area for little ones, excellent shade provided in this area. Room was good. Food was a decent but not great.

Great resort! Really loved the grounds, pool options and it's within walking distance to some restaurants. The room could have used a refresh, but it was still nice. Also liked having a balcony. Would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful place. Terrific grounds and pool areas. Rooms are big and nice and all have balconies with a view. I came here to give a presentation on communication strategy to an association meeting, and it is a great space for that. Big shared spaces for networking and doing what I do, which is lots of little casual conversations/consultations in the hallways and in lounges after a presentation. The meeting rooms are comfortable and the sound in each room is great. No echoes or bleeding sound through walls.

This resort has gorgeous scenery and a terrific outdoor bar area with friendly, fantastic staff. The rooms themselves have been updated in terms of fabrics--curtains, sheets, upholstery--but could use some hard renovations. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the occupants walking around in the room above us. The lights in the bathroom were motion activated, but did not pick up motion near the tub/toilet.

First and foremost it’s a five-star resort all the way. I am an Omni member. And this lived up to their brand. During such a challenging time Matt, Matt, Rick, and Caylee all at the pool/in charge of cabanas and service were outstanding in their customer care. Although they had limited availability with cabanas they accommodated my group and Me which allowed us to be able to continue celebrating a birthday comfortably and allowed me to continue to work remotely as an essential worker in such a fun and welcoming environment. Hats off to this team and the other employees for making this an awesome getaway weekend during a time when most hotels and businesses lack customer service and empathy. I ask that upper management please recognize these individuals as they went over and beyond to make sure our experience was as great as the Omni brand.

Hotel property and the rooms were clean. Food ordered by the pool was above average. Checking in and out was a breeze. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool management and staff was below average, however. Friday, the main pool had a lifeguard, but Saturday it did not? The main pool had several kids and adults on Saturday and not once did I see a lifeguard in the 5 hours I was sitting there. Unacceptable. Also, on the same day, there was a big group of adults who ordered food by the main pool. When their food arrived, they were served and eating the food while standing in the water. I saw a couple of items fall into the water. Really gross. Meanwhile, there was a pool supervisor who said or did nothing. Instead, he was too busy making sure the 4 moms sitting in front of me did not have glass cups. Not cool. Overall would stay there again, however would have to be careful around the pool.

Great customer service. Great location with eating options within walking distance at The River. There's a lazy river and pool for family fun and an adult only pool for quiet times. We used the spa services for a couples massage and they made us feel comfortable and most importantly relaxed. Can't wait to visit again.

My wife and I took our kids there (7 & 8) for an end of summer get away. Wonderful pool set up with two large slides, a lazy river, water feature play zone, and normal pool. Good service by the waiting staff and they had a family movie on a big screen by the pool each night. Grounds are pretty and rooms are large. Kids get goodie bags upon request at checkin that have fun games. Food and drink prices weren't cheap though which is why I gave 4 stars out of 5. The lava flow drink is excellent if your in the mood for something tropical. Golf during the summer is free due to the heat but if you get out early, you can get a round in without overheating. Would definitely come back. The gentleman whom checked us in was named Don Diego and he was awesome!

AMAZING!!! The Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort was such a wonderful place to have a vacation! Maria at the Front Desk/Check In is an absolute treat and one of the most wonderful and genuine people I have ever met. Every time we needed something we would wait for Maria because she is the best! I absolutely adored her and would be willing to stay at the resort again because she was so friendly and welcoming! I originally went for a conference but decided to stay a few days and it was well worth the extra days! The conference space was perfect for a crowd of 300-400 people and suited our needs perfectly. The food provided by the event catering was delicious and they provided options friendly for dietary restrictions. The resort space is beautiful and very comfortable for casual reclining and relaxing. There is an adorable lounge area by two of the on-site restaurants/cafes. The resort also offers a fun "splashtopia" area for slides and water activities, a lazy river, a family pool, and a separate adult pool. The restaurants were all delicious and priced as expected for a resort. We also did a Spa Day and enjoyed exclusive use of the spa pool, poolside meals, and amazing spa services. For those wishing to leave the resort, there is also a mall within walking distance with additional food options. Overall, this was a wonderful vacation, the perfect place to stay, and a great experience for both a conference and a vacation.

We are local and did the cabana rental for the day. Had a great time. You have the cabana from 9am until 10pm. They close and clean everything from 1pm til 2pm and again from 6pm til 7pm. Our server for our cabana Ramiro was great! The only complaint I have is that the cement will burn your feet all around the lazy river and splashtopia. It it very slippery. They should put down a textured cool decking for everyone's safety. Not sure we would pay that price again for the cabana though. It was nice to have our own space. I would have liked a bigger table for when we ordered lunch and drinks. The table is super small and there were only 3 of us. You get bigger tables where there are just lounge chairs. I feel the cabana is worth $200 but not the $325 we paid.

After a year of no's due to the pandemic we decided to venture out as a family in 2021, staying safe was our top priority but we needed a break from work and our house. I chose this hotel purely for the pool area so our boys would be able to enjoy themselves. I called ahead of time and asked questions that were important to our family and the staff over the phone were incredibly kind and supportive they celebrated my families big adventure out and during check in they remembered my call in, and connected on my concerns with the covid restrictions. It made me feel heard and valued. The whole place is amazing but our families favorite part was the restaurant on site. Every single person who we came in contact with was AMAZING! They engaged our kids, shared stories and made our dinners and meals so special. We will go back just to eat there again. So thankful to them for being willing to work and allow my family a weekend of yes's and to see our kids laugh and make incredible memories

Great place for family , but not when they force you to rent 2 rooms and you have 3 kids under 18 years old. After 3 years visiting every summer now they cannot reserve the same room they we always stayed, for sure they want to make extra money . Very frustrated!

Food and drinks are super super expensive there. And their maintenance crew need to work on landscaping and updating fixing the walls around the pool and other places.

Beautiful property with lots of amenities, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food options. The conference facilities are very nice and the resort property is simply gorgeous! The rooms are also very spacious and comfortable, with nice views of the golf course or other areas of the resort.

Absolutely. The. Best!!!! We are returning frOm a 4 night stay st the Omni Rancho Mirage. The beds are so comfy, our room has huge with a pull out couch, plenty of space for us two plus our two kids (preschool/toddler age). The shower pressure was good, the tub was pristine, and the soap/shampoo were nice high-end. Goes without saying that the boys LOVED the pools, water slides, lazy river with its tubes, and the sandy beach, shady, where we spent the bulk of our trip. There are misters everywhere to keep you cool. Great staff, poolside food is a little pricey but not out of control. To be expected at a reality like this. The walls are a little thin, but that’s my only complaint. The view of the golf course and having your own private patio, reached they French doors, is lovely. I lost my wallet somewhere in the pool area, and my husband called the next morning, to our delight it had been turned in overnight (probably by cleaning staff, I’m guessing), and not only was every credit card, my ID etc still in there, but over $250 cash STILL IN THERE. If that’s not integrity amongst Omni workers, I really don’t not know what is. The incredible pools and hospitality will keep us coming back time and time again. This is becoming a family tradition trip for us, it’s that good 👍🏼

Lots of fun water activities for the kids. Enjoyed a full day of non stop water fun. Appreciated the many lawn chairs located in shade available for us. The food service at the pool was very fast and very tasty. The gift shop at the pool is way over priced. Make sure you come prepared with sun screen and pool toys, hats and sunglasses because a pool noodle was 16 bucks at this place. My 10 year old enjoyed arts and crafts. Cup cake decorating was listed on a flyer given to us but it was not available. House keeping is slow, it was 3pm and our room had not yet been tended to. Called and someone came with in 5 minutes! Also there is carpet in our room that is filthy leaves your feet black from the dirty floor. Really, super gross. Definitely wear slippers!! Beds are comfortable, convenient mini fridge, coffee maker and ac worked great. Our view of a large green golf course was beautiful. All Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Overall a very fun family trip we will return! With slippers!

The pool is AMAZING! My daughter did not want to leave the “beach” area, and my son enjoyed the slides. A bit crowded but manageable. Remember to stay in an upstairs room if you don’t want to hear footsteps all night! Also checked out the golf course but only played through 6 holes due to the 120 degree weather.

Great place for families. Large pool, lazy river, waterslides, etc. service by the pool was excellent. In fact, the service by the pool was much better than the expensive restaurant! Maybe they use the same waitstaff and they just get tired by dinner time. We had a great time and already are planning a couple more weekend trips this year. Not sure if we could spend a whole week here, but for 3-4 nights it is a no brainer. Had a great time in April, came back in May and it was a very different experience. It was very ghetto with tons of people smoking everywhere, including the kids pool, guys getting really drunk and swearing loudly...it was so crowded with kids but we stopped going to the pool because it was so obnoxious. Two totally different experiences in one month’s time.

The hotel is very kid friendly, however, the rooms left much to be desired. They need a major cleaning. The carpet was filthy, and I found items in the room from the previous occupants. The mini fridge is either so cold it freezes everything or not cold enough and everything spoils. EVERYTIME. Very frustrating. The coffee cups look like they had been used and not cleaned. The pull out bed was awful, the mattress felt like it was made with cotton balls. Disappointed overall. If you are going to charge four season prices and outrageous resort fees, you better be able to provide the facilities and service.

Excellent place to go, surrounded by a great 27 hole golf course. The restaurant is fantastic, always something interesting on the menu, and the wait staff is very attentive. On cold nights they have several fire places outside you can sit around and relax with the cocktail of choice.

Great resort and a great ambience, the pools are very nice although there is some debris that the average guest would assume the filters would take care of, the poolside grill at the splash is very nice and convenient as you can order food at any time. The lobby is kept very nice and makes you feel like your staying at a nice hotel. Housekeeping does a phenomenal job keeping the rooms clean and stocked up with towels and changing the sheets. I did a test to see if they actually would change the sheets and they did which was very nice to know because some hotels do not. Omni was great and I will definitely be coming back once again!

Amazing property, just hours away from Oceanside, and South Bay (Manhattan Beach‘s). After arriving I found myself thinking over and over again this place is amazing, this place is amazing, this place is amazing. The lazy river was awesome, are seven and nine-year-old love the slide and what went down multiple times. The food was average at the pool, and the service was average to below average. What made the experience was the property itself. We are definitely going back!

I been coming here for years and for the past 3 years in May we come to celebrate my mom's birthday. For the first time I was so disappointed on our dinner. It was Sunday mother's day and the restaurant was not that busy. Marco was out waitress. He was ok but this busboy was horrible. He slammed the plate on my aunt's and cousin's side of the table only because they said they wanted to take their left overs. Marco made it up by making a new hummus as attitude busboy threw it away. Cindy at the pool was so amazing. Day 1 and day 2. Abel for breakfast was just exceptional. And it reminded us this is the reason why we keep coming back. I will not give less than 5 stars just because a busboy was not having a good day. We love this place and will continue to come however, I did want to write a comment about it.

One of my favorite places to stay. Such a treat. I mean the lazy river?!! Yes please. The rooms are nice if a little outdated. The bathroom has flimsy pocket doors which I hate. But the staff are great. The grounds are beautiful. And it's such an oasis.

We stayed here last weekend for a wedding and had a great time but the hotel completely botched our room and never responded to my inquiries during our stay or when I followed up via email, which was disappointing. it’s one thing to screw up during the stay, but another to not even acknowledge the issues that a customer had. Will be challenging it with my credit card. I was expecting more from the Omni brand but it seems like they basically took over this property which used to be a Marriott and just slap their name on it and that’s about it. You’re definitely not getting a five or even four-star experience here, as they really turn out the rooms. we booked a king bed room and got two queens which was a little annoying, and then we also discovered that our hotel block was in buildings three, four and five. Yet for some reason, we were pushed all the way out to 24 which again was very annoying. these two issues in the lack of follow up diminished and otherwise nice stay and great wedding. The grounds were actually pretty nice and it was cool that they had an adult pool and also the kids area, which was chaotic, but great for families. Also had a nice meal at the breakfast restaurant and the wedding venue was pretty nice, although very hot. Not sure why there was no shade in the ceremony was out in the baking sun lol. It is Palm Springs guys. After party venue was really nice on the rooftop and we had a great time other than the issues with the room.

Overall a great place to stay. But also a little up and down. Beautiful location and grounds, really nice rooms and we had a terrific view. Room was very nice and very clean, except for one small pile of dirt near the door. Shower water pressure was fantastic but the sink drained very slowly, and at least one cockroach....So, a little up and down, but overall really nice. You'll get a very generic respons for the "owner" if you leave a negative comment, but that's all you;l get.

Pools were great. Went in March hardly any kids there. The staff was courteous. Walls very thin. We could actually hear footsteps in room above us. I cannot say enough about Tod the concierge. He was an absolute gem. Helped us change our room to get a better view. Took care of all our needs. Even sent a bottle of wine and treats. Checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Only negative I saw is that the cushions around fire pits were filthy. Really need to be cleaned.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I'd give a minus star if that was possible. First thing, after diving 2 1/2 hours in traffic we looked forward to hanging out by the pool. It was nasty. For $750 we finally found a spot poolside. No music. No one to ask us if we wanted a drink. No ambiance. Then management advised us that our room would not be ready until 5:30 pm. So we went to dinner. Come to our room for the first time and our keys didn't work. They sent someone to let us in and they put in front of a dumpster. I've attached photos. We complained to Ida the manager and she was upset at us. We are here for my girlfriends 40th birthday. This has ruined our whole experience!!! Never again! By the way, I've written 200 reviews and this is the worst one ever!

The room smelled musty and was very dated. The hotel tried to double charge me the resort fee for every night we were there, and when I brought it up to the front desk the staff tried to tell me that everything was fine and it was challenging to resolve. Check your folio carefully! Once they realized that I was correct I was refunded the difference but no other effort was made to remedy the stress and lost time they had caused. We'll stay elsewhere next time.

Went to Blu Ember, the featured restaurant we often enjoyed when we lived in Rancho Mirage. The service was excellent. The food was OK to me but my wife thought her meal was expectedly excellent. We both agreed the ambiance was the low point, no live music, recorded music to loud and not complimentary to the place or cuisine. There is just to much competition in the valley to return we will likely visit other places when we return but we would not dissuade anyone from giving it a try especially if you are staying at the hotel.

We just want to thank Doreen for the incredible customer service. She went above and beyond for us on a very busy weekend. Her friendly attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional hospitality made our weekend. Keep up the great work, and thank you again! We really appreciate it 😀

I can't say enough good things about this resort! We stayed here during weekend two of Coachella music festival. Being a festival I thought the resort would be chaos, but it wasn't. Checkin was easy, parking was easy - everything was a breeze! Each night after the shuttle Chef Jonathan and his team were outside with an amazing selection of street tacos, drinks, and goodies for hotel guests. The food was amazing at room service, at the resort restaurant and at the pool! The adult pool had a DJ on Saturday - which was so fun! The ONLY negative thing I would say is every Sunday they have steelpan drums at the adult pool for the "island/vacation vibe" and it was not relaxing at all. If anything the pool was empty because it was so hard to listen to - even staff says they can't stand it and want the DJ back! The rooms were spacious, clean and beautiful! I can't wait to come back and bring my kid to the amazing kids pool. Many thanks to Chef Jonathan again.

Overall = This is a great choice in the area for families. For the price, there are better places for couples and singles. If you have kids, its a fun place to visit. Splashtopia is great for the whole family. Tip: Stay on a top floor room, otherwise you'll be listening to footsteps all day/night. Condition = The property is getting pretty dated and has lots of deferred maintenance (broken waterslide, lots of broken lights, cracked floors, rusty fences, dirty fountains, etc). A new pool is being added, so maybe the operating budget is tight. Dining = The Palms Cafe is nice and convenient, Blu Ember is just ok for dinner, while pool food service is generally pretty good. Also, a nice mall with good restaurants is just across the street. Service = Flavored water and free ice cream in the lobby is a nice touch. Housekeeping is good. Don't bother asking for late checkout or early checkin.

We loved our stay at the resort this past weekend, great service, food was excellent. Specific shoutout to our housekeeper, Elena. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and was so incredibly kind. We will be returning!

Great as always. Only a couple of complaints. Lack of parking as they are doing major construction on one side of the pool. Also the buffet breakfast that we always look forward to is now $32 and not as good as before. Half the items have to be ordered from the menu.

Nice people. Rooms were clean, bed so comfortable, fridge in room. Recommend that lighting around the campus could be better. Very dark when walking the paths to rooms or driving.

Property and room seemed relatively nice overall...sink was bit dirty though. The water bottles and wash cloths were not replaced by housekeeping after the first night's stay. This is basic service, and is disappointing, especially considering the price of the room per night. For the price, look elsewhere.

Property is extremely well cared for. I attended a national sales meeting there over thirty years ago when it was owned by Marriott. Staff is pleasant and responsive.

Rancho Las Palmas is a great place in Rancho Mirage for your businesses' retreat. We have been going to the Rancho Las Palmas for the past 15 years. The rooms are nice, the waterpark is a ton of fun for the families and the staff is always helpful. Overall I recommend the Rancho Las Palmas for your business events.

Here for work, went to front desk to check out and verify I have no charges on my personal card I used for incidentals. This lady tried to charge me for a breakfast I never had. I let her know I didn't order anything, and she just kept on repeating that I ordered breakfast. Finally says "okay, you're set" after repeating myself for the 3rd time. An apology would've been proper after repeatedly accusing a tired, hungry guest of stealing a meal from them at checkout 😸

The resort never disappoints! We had been coming here for years with the family and will be back again. Everything is close by, even the Tesla charging station.

While there we had several unwelcomed guests deop in- multiple Cockroaches ( some about 3” long). The hotel was way overpriced and outdated. It felt like we were at a motel 6 but paid for a 5 star hotel. I cannot believe we paid $1,000 for that joke of a room. The duvet cover was stained, the bath drain was smelly, the walls were paper thin. Our neighbors brought their dog who barked half of the night. We woke up to a fresh pile of poop near the door. While the hotel’s bot at fault for their tenant’s behavior, I want to point out that you could literally hear everything through the walls. If you don’t mind the company of cockroaches wandering around in your $1000 room, and have little to no expectations than this might be the room for you. We have to say that we have stayed at other OMNI resorts and they were wonderdul.

Great place to take your kids. I had just as much fun as my wife and daughter.

We have now traveled here twice for the kids (toddlers) and my son now 3 loves the pool. Our daughter 2 also loved the lazy river. The plashtopia experience is a great one for the kids. The food on the premises is also great. A little pricy but think about the convenience of not having to leave the hotel. Over all the food is delicious. There are other options right across the street and also thru out the town. Will plan to go back again some time in the future.

Went to dinner only, service was great, however I wad unable to get my car tonight from valet , he was on break and nobody could reach after 30min, I ended up calling from valet desk, and trying to find my keys , manager tonight says I'm sorry... and there is a new lock on box and nobody has it.... are you kidding me...

Spa massage was outstanding. Other family members who had rooms there were very dissatisfied. Bathroom door locked, tub entrance too high.

We came here for our anniversary last weekend, as a last minute trip and were incredibly impressed by the care from the beginning. The front desk manager checked us in and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We booked a morning at the spa and both my wife and I enjoyed the experience. The hotel itself was incredibly clean. The fact that it's set up like a resort is PERFECT. You really don't have to leave the grounds as so much is offered at the resort itself. The cafe had by far the best chicken sandwiches and an array of offerings for breakfast and the restaurant on the property offered fantastic food, ambiance, service and live music. Definitely a great trip...and they have a lazy river!!! This place rules. We cannot wait to go back.

I love coming to this resort, since it has a very welcoming staff and a great golf deal on Underpar.com. I've been here 2 times now, and the course is very playable and the staff is beyond helpful and nice. Also, it's SO EASY to book everything. Everyone is so happy to assist. A few things worth noting on our stay so far: The room(s) were musty, and the AC was a little noisy. But, I don't have kids and it was just a buddy and I, so we didn't care all too much...a family might though. We were booked next to several people and could hear them walk around and talk (muffled) through the shared wall. I heard it said several times by staff walking around that they were less than 30% capacity, so I don't know why they wouldn't try to separate people to some degree so it could be a little more quiet. All in all, it was reasonably priced for what we got. I will definitely be going back because I love the golf course, people there and close location to surrounding locations. Hopefully, the room issues were just because of down-time season.

UPDATE: Also, if you want room service for breakfast during the week - well it’s not available during the week until 5pm. This was an absolute joke of a stay. I would not recommend this establishment. It is overpriced and they don’t even offer breakfast room service which is the majority of their dine in menu. We arrived at the resort on Wednesday for a short stay with the kids. We did get a larger suite with an attached living room and dining space. For the price of the room, I was not captivated by the service we received anywhere on the resort with the exception of the pool. Casey was very attentive and a pleasure to deal with. If I wanted food, we would actually walk to the pool to order because for the entirety of our Wednesday stay we could not get anyone to answer from the Front Desk or Room Service. We actually thought our phone might be broken given the volume of times we called throughout the day. Some were attempts to order food but other times we were trying to handle minor issues with the room. Soap dispenser broken, fridge not working, AC acting up. Minor problems but noted given the price of the room. On Thursday the same issue persisted when trying to reach the Front Desk and Room Service. I finally got ahold of the concierge and told them we were going to be leaving for the entirety of the morning and that if our room could be serviced that would be great. When we returned five hours later we also noted the room had not been serviced. Not a problem. We call the concierge again as that is the only phone we can get someone to pick up as we are about to head out to the pool and ask them if they could stop by. We return from the pool two hours later, still no one has stopped by. When they did manage to come by the staff was absolutely lovely and a pleasure to have around but it was frustrating trying to get problems fixed and the room cleaned and not be able to get a hold of anyone. To top it off, this is a slightly older room configuration and so our suite has a door that led to another room. The tenant of that room has been smoking and hacking up a lung in a non-smoking room for all of Thursday including the night and early hours of Friday when I am writing this post. I was able to get in touch with the front desk yesterday evening about this but it would appear the smoking is still going on. As a result of the room configuration our bedroom reeks of cigarette smoke and is causing problems for us. Overall I would consider this a great stop for kids given the water park but for the price of the room, the amenities offered in the room, and for the quality of service we received midweek I do not feel it was really worth the drive from San Diego on our vacation.

Great experience overall! Customer service was amazing at the desk during check in and check out. The servers at Splashtopia were very helpful and attentive. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a 2 queen vista view. The property is so beautiful. Our visit was to celebrate my daughter turning 7 and Splashtopia was perfect! We will definitely visit again.

This location provides the best customer service. The ease of check in and check out was phenomenal. The landscape was amazing. The property was beautiful and well maintained. Even though I was there for a conference I felt so refreshed and rejuvenated from the beautiful environment, the amazing customer service from the staff and the comfort of my room...was perfect. I felt very welcomed. The staff was so friendly and happy. You can tell they enjoy their work. Thank you to Omni Resorts, please don't change what you are doing.

This is my third day staying at Omni Las Palmas and the adult pool has been filthy all three days. Haven’t been able to use it.

I was thoroughly impressed with the service and the sincerity of the staff! I've always loved Omni hotels but this was probably one of the best! We came here for spring break and the lady at check in was genuinely nice! She asked what kind of room I wanted and I asked not to be next door to anyone just incase the kids were loud. She made sure to put me on the 1st floor, easy access to the car, the pool, and away from anyone. I was a bit flustered from the children and I checked in without my husband being there. She must have been worried when I pulled up to my building after check in and had one of the staff meet me to help with the luggage! The pool staff was amazing and prompt! The lazy river is open till 4pm and is shallow enough for my 6 year old. They have a slide that falls into shallow enough water as well. They have helpful lifeguards watching over and assisting with the rafts. They made sure the older kids weren't being rough around the little ones and the pool side service was wonderful as well! The restaurants are nice and the food was great! The golf course is well maintained and not overly expensive.

This resort is freaking awesome 👌. The rooms are very nice. Loved, I was able to have breakfast on the balcony. The lazy river, water slides and pool were fun!!! Staff even cleaned the pools every 4hrs. My daughter had a blast. The restaurants were nice and food was delicious. I cant wait to go back.!!! It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

Stayed at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort on Veterans Day, Friday, and Saturday. BluEmber restaurant was a joke! My husband and I sat outside waiting for service, 30 minutes went by without anyone asking if we’d like cocktails, water or something to order. Horrible service. We left and had a very pleasant dinner at Yard House. The following day, we waited on the phone for 20 minutes waiting for the staff at BluEmber to answer, they NEVER answered. We called the concierge who asked callers to leave a message! They never answered. We will NEVER stay at Omni Rancho Las Palmas again, the resort needs staff development on how to make their guests feel welcomed. You’ve been warned.

Beautiful grounds; terrific tennis facilities; pools open - even the slides and lazy river. My wife and I just back from 4 nights at the Omni. It is fairly expensive - and although the rooms are large they only have a small fridge and a Kuerig - no other kitchen facilities - but feels worth it considering how beautiful the grounds are - and having access to tennis at reasonable prices is great. Also a nice golf course available. All the staff were very nice. It was quiet the week we were there but got busier at end of week. The outdoor plaza area is great (though some of the cushions could use a cleaning) and every room has a patio or small deck - which is great.

Booked room for two nights in September 2021, including package with Champaign and chocolates for first night as a little surprise for my girlfriend. I called 4 times and they never delivered them. But to be fair, on 2 of those calls no one actually answered the phone at all. They charged for that though so we'll see if I can get that corrected. Children completely filled the adult pool, running and jumping into pool repeatedly so please don't think there is an adult pool, despite what their website says. I've always liked Omni properties, but you should skip this.

The rooms are a truly a delight. The property is well maintained and extremely clean. The pool area is nice place to relax with your family, my grand kids enjoyed it and the snack bar! The staff were all helpful and friendly, they made great suggestions for kid friendly activities and dining around the valley. Since we couldn't do a real vacation this year we did a staycation which is now a must given this impressive resort. A+ You also have some dining options with in walking distance at the river including PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, Yard House, Babes BBQ, and Five Guys.

I have stayed at many resorts in various countries. I was there in the off season and I found Omni Rancho Resort in Palm Springs, CA. to be TOP NOTCH !! The facility was kept very clean. They have 3 pools. They clean the pool every 4 hours. One is a Lazy River style pool. Great for kids and all ages to be frank. They have intertubes for all, plus they have Life Guards all around the pool areas. There is a Slide, and a Splash Pad in the middle for the wee ones. They have a great Activity schedule for the kids every day and a Movie night by the pool. The Staff is wonderful, from poolside, to Restaurants and Front Desk. I can't say enough good things abt their food. In the on grounds Restaurant and poolside the food was Awesome and what you would expect for a 5 star Resort. If you can afford it, let me strongly suggest you do a Cabanna, even if for one day. They are a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. ❤❤❤❤💯

Love this place! It is a beautiful resort. Lots of room for large parties. Awesome outdoor night time activity space. Gas flame tables everywhere around the courtyard surrounding the pool. We stayed up till midnight bringing in the new year laughing and carrying on because it is such a wonderful atmosphere.

After a year of no's due to the pandemic we decided to venture out as a family in 2021, staying safe was our top priority but we needed a break from work and our house. I chose this hotel purely for the pool area so our boys would be able to enjoy themselves. I called ahead of time and asked questions that were important to our family and the staff over the phone were incredibly kind and supportive they celebrated my families big adventure out and during check in they remembered my call in, and connected on my concerns with the covid restrictions. It made me feel heard and valued. The whole place is amazing but our families favorite part was the restaurant on site. Every single person who we came in contact with was AMAZING! They engaged our kids, shared stories and made our dinners and meals so special. We will go back just to eat there again. So thankful to them for being willing to work and allow my family a weekend of yes's and to see our kids laugh and make incredible memories

Amazing place to have fun and relax with the family and kids. We went to celebrate my son birthday 🎉 and just to get away from the routine. My kids had a blast, the customer service was wonderful. I give this resort a 5star. We got to enjoy both pools and the food. Everything was excellent! I will definitely go back.

WORST. HOTEL. EVER. My wife and two daughters surprised me with a trip to the Omni Rancho Las Palmas this past weekend for Father's Day. I was super excited as I've heard great things about the resort and how kid friendly it is, and I really had high hopes for our kids having a great time. However, the problems all started as soon as we arrived... - We specifically requested a paid early check-in since we drove 2 hours Wirth our small children and our dog to get here. When we got to the resort (around 2pm, which was the time of the early check in), we were told that our room wasn't available yet. They couldn't even get us a courtesy sweet to change our clothes in. My wife and daughters had to change into bathing suits in the car and the bathroom so they could go to the pool while we waiting, and I was just roaming the lobby with my exhausted dog for two hours until our room was ready - When we finally were able to check into our suite, I immediately noticed there were at least a dozen flies circling around all over the room: the living and dining area, the bed room, the bathroom. We were plagued by the swarm all weekend. - The floors in the room were FILTHY. my 3 and 1 year olds walked around on the carpet barefoot for all of 10 minutes after bathing, and their feet were absolutely black and disgusting. There's no way this is sanitary. - There was no warning of their supposed "covid rules" while booking our stay. Only after we checked in, were we told that we could only visit the waterpark/pool area for HALF of the day: either 9am to 1pm, to 2pm until the evening. The whole reason we brought our kids to the place was so they could play in the waterpark... - Speaking of the waterpark... The lifeguard and the safety/management staff are discriminatory, unprofessional, and downright rude. On day 1, we had our one year old going around the lazy river in our own floaty with a built in sunshade for a good 2-3 hours. On Day 2, as soon as we got in the lazy river, we were told that we cannot utilize out our purpose made small child floaty - they wanted us to utilize one of their tubes which was WAY too big for a 1 year old, which also meant they wanted us to eliminate the sunshade in 120 degree weather. The staff at the water slides were an absolutely disaster as well. They were letting very small children unsafely go down the waterslide although they weren't even close to the 42" heigh requirement, but when I took my 3.5 year old to the water slide area, she measured just above 42", but they made her take off her water shoes (again, in 120 degree weather) and re-measured her to be just under 42" and wouldn't let her go down the slide. Again, I'm assuming some time of discrimination or playing favorites, no idea why. - Resort maintenance: seems like all of the staff is inattentive. I noticed day-old trays of food, trash bags, etc, laying around outside of multiple rooms and a lot of the stuff was left there all weekend.

Brought my lovely and fashionable 94-year-old mother to the hair salon for a cut and style. Lupita did a great job, was very kind and lots of fun. She listened carefully and worked with my mother to give her the versatile cut she was looking for. The quality of Lupita's cut was excellent - allowing my mother to change styles on her own. She looked so pretty when we left. The location is lovely with very good service from all personnel we met. We are locals, so will definitely be back.

Tarpon London, the concierge was so helpful in booking a last minute dinner reservation for my bosses who arrived today.

My friend and I stayed here to celebrate her 40th birthday. We scheduled massages. I selected the signature massage and she selected the deep canyon massage. My masseuse was chatty which was fine, but she proceeded to tell me that her son worked at a dispensary and she shared that she gets “stoned” every night. That was definitely TMI. I also did not enjoy my massage. Usually following a massage, I feel fantastic. Here at the Omni, my body felt better before the massage than after. My friend was underwhelmed as well and mentioned that she had better deep tissue massages at Massage Envy for a quarter of the price. We still gave the customary 20% tip. My masseuse mentioned that she had been out of work for a while, so I still wanted to tip her despite the poor experience. Regarding the room, it was humid and there were bugs in the bathroom. The bathroom was a bit dated as well. There were a few positives, the grounds are beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the gentleman at the concierge desk.

Fantastic resort! Our family of 6 had an absolute blast! All of our big kids received little backpacks with activities upon arrival - as well as milk and cookies their first night. You can imagine how happy they were. The pools were awesome, and the lifeguard staff was always diligent in their watch. The nightly movies by the pool were a huge hit, even with the parents. I loved that they even have a cool little covered sandpit area for really little kids, and a shallow spot where our 6 month old was able to chill and splash. If I had to even make one critical note, it was that the shower head in our room was intense. I mean, you're definitely not wishing for more water pressure ;) otherwise, nothing but positives! The staff was super accommodating and friendly!

My company took us here for our end of the year celebration. Everything about this resort was amazing. Food, spa, golf... amazing

One of our favorite places in the desert. We had a nice room overlooking one of the greens of the golf course. It's close to nice restaurants and the pool is fun w the slide a little lazy river.

My check was a snap, the resort is large, the directions to my building were easy to follow. My room was quite spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaurants served delicious meals with top notch service. Beautiful grounds calmed the senses, this resort offers a full spa which I didn't use.

Great resort for a family. Pool has lots to do for kids. Location is right next to a large outdoor mall with lots of restaurants. Good price for rooms. Rooms could use a remodel, but they are still nice.

Beautiful and well tended grounds, clean and lovely rooms and good staff. It would have earned five stars, save for the snack bar which is the only restaurant currently open. We had two meals there, and both were expensive and disappointing. Can definitely recommend staying here but eat somewhere else.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas. I've given it 5 Stars because truly there was not one thing for my family of 7 to complain about! From the beautiful gardens, perfectly trimmed golf course and clean and warm pools, the Omni really stood out to us. The two best things, that are absolutely going to bring my family back again, were CLEAN ROOMS, and AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I can't say enough about how warm and accommodating each and every staff member we spoke with was. We were able to get our requested adjoining walkout rooms, but after checking in, felt it was a bit too far from the pool considering we have 2 kids under 5. With no hesitation, they were able to get us switched on our 2nd night to a great room overlooking a green from the golf course, right around the corner from the pool entrance! And they even drove our bags over for us! Lastly, one of our favourite parts was how each building had its own drive up parking spots so you didn't have to actually go to the lobby ever. Also, a quick dial of '0' on the phone could get you anything you wanted. 5 star, would stay again, and highly recommend that if you are reading this, you just click through and make a reservation, you will not be disappointed.

The rooms are very tired and not as clean as they should be. The day we arrived upper management decided to close the lazy river and slides.....due to not wanting to pay for a lifeguard with it being slow! That was the main reason for booking our stay here. We did get our room upgraded, because our first room was dirty and stains all over the carpet. I don't think we would stay here again, it was nothing like other Omni resorts we have stayed in. Employees seemed to have there favorite hangouts to gossip at, and not be cleaning out garbage cans that were overflowing. Obviously a direct influence from upper management at this location. Remember your in the hospitality business, and at least put a little effort into striving for excellence! People will respect a little extra effort.

I went for the weekend with my family and enjoyed every minute of my visit, this is a great place to go if you want to relax and have fun at the same time. You can choose from a golf course view to a water fountain to a beautiful pool front. My thanks to all the staff that treat us wonderful... with respect and professionalism. We will be back.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights in February (Feb 19th and Feb 20th). We received wristbands to use the pool and lazy river for 3 and a half hours only (9am to 12:30pm). We came here only for the pool, lazy river and water slides and it is cold until 11am in February. I was not informed of this when I was booking via phone and I specifically asked if everythingwas open and accessibleand in was told yes. I was lied to. The staff that is booking reservations need to be trained to disclose important information. Also this needs to be in a huge red disclaimer on the resort website so that people can be aware that the pool is open for 3 and a half hours only prior to booking.

Great hotel, facilities, standards, cleanliness and staff. Bedrooms are in need of a refurbishment.

We had a great time. For the price, I was a little surprised with some of the little things that weren't quite right; shower pressure so intense it felt like it would take your skin off, in room coffee that tasted so bad it was undrinkable. They did very well with reduced capacity and social distancing. I can't image how crowded it could be at peak times during a normal year so plan carefully.

It's been our go to place for 5 consecutive years. We are extremely happy with the service. I have 2 children who enjoy the lazy river, the pool side movies, and slides. We have been lucky to always get nice and clean rooms. The staff service is outstanding. You get what you pay for and it is worth every single penny. If you do not want to eat at the hotel, there are so many restaurants and fast food places around. There is a zoo 10 minutes away, movie theater down the street, it's at a great location.

This place is absolutely wonderful, everyone is so friendly housekeeping is extremely friendly. I ordered a Bud Light oh my goodness that was the best Bud Light, it was in an ice cold bottle and tasted so good just the right temperature fantastic. The bed and pillows awesome if I could have taken them out and put them in my trunk I would have lol. It was a very relaxing atmosphere I thoroughly enjoyed the lazy river, I enjoyed sitting next to the fireplaces I enjoyed myself all together it was a wonderful one night relaxation ,rejuvenation, stress free moment or two time. Thank you Omni❤

Nice family resort, staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The lazy river and pool was great, the kids had a blast. When we went in August there were so many people that multiple breaks were needed for the pool to be cleaned or filtered. That was an inconvenience, rooms were nice and spacious. Daily room service was lacking, they wanted to clean our room close to 4 PM which was a big downer. There are a lot of restaurants nearby which was a plus. Overall it was a great family vacation, would we return probably not as there are other competitors nearby that can provide an even better experience at a similar price.

This was the first time I’ve resort of this level and it was amazing. Everyone was friendly the restaurant and pool side service need some improvements with staff being attentive. The cafe was great I loved it. The pools are fun and relaxing. The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were ehh by I still slept good. The only problem I experienced was the room keys stopped working a few times. But I was told the resort is replacing all locks in the next couple months

We had a wonderful time! The staff was welcoming, always wore a smile, helpful, knowledgeable, patient...Our room and the grounds were beautiful and clean. Our grandchildren had a blast! They didn't want to leave. The 2 year old loved the "sandy beach" (loved the shade cover) and the 5, 11 and 12 year old's loved the lazy river and water slides. The adults loved everything! The food at the poolside cafe was very good as were the drinks. The poolside staff was very nice and all had smiles. I would recommend everyone to stay here.

This place was beautiful but definitely for the kids. The pool didn't seem very clean but I'm sure it's hard to do with so many kids ... The beds were very uncomfortable. The part that bothered us the most was we drove a couple hours to get there and arrived at 3pm when we were told we can check in on the phone. Well the guy at the front desk told us our room won't be ready until 4pm and basically told us to kick rocks and he would call us when our room was ready. We went across the street with my young child in the heat and waited for the call that never came. We finally just went to the room ourselves around 4:45ish and it was clean and ready. I thought that was very rude and unprofessional. It wasted our day which we payed for.. I won't be coming back to this place in particular but my young son did enjoy his birthday at the lazy river..

Room wasn't that clean. There was hair in the shower, one of the lotion bottles was previously used, and one of the towels had dirt on it. The pools were good but there were old beer cans, cups and trash everywhere along the splashtopia stream. Breakfast at BluEmber was good but a bit overpriced for the quality you received. Pluses are the comfy beds, the big balconies, and the Nest amenities.

Great spot! Accommodations are spread over several buildings so I found it very quiet at the back of the resort (beside the gold course) with convenient parking right outside my room. An amazing spot for kids with the lazy river, water slide and sand beach with sun shade. I especially enjoyed the adjacent cabana areas. Resort was clean and well maintained ... I will be back.

Great atmosphere, clean and respecting the protocols of sanitation and safety distances. The personals very attentive and helpful.

Just finished a two night stay here. DO NOT STAY HERE! Rooms are unbelievably outdated, many room fixtures don’t work. After 20 years staying at the JW, we decided we would try something different. Looking online, the hotel looked great! The pools looked like fun, the grounds looked well kept. When we checked in, we found multiple dirty diapers thrown in the bushes, the pool was so cloudy you couldn’t even see the bottom. The room had old paint on the towel racks, door handles missing to the exterior patio, couch pillows with stains and bedding that looked like it hadn’t been changed. The next morning, while enjoying our coffee on the patio at 8am. The pool manager is talking to the pool service guy about how the pool hadn’t been running all night but they dumped 15 gallons of chlorine in so “it would be safe to open”. This was only after a lifeguard was shouting about cockroaches in the pool At this point, we decided we would cut our trip short and head back to the JW. We spoke to a front desk manager and she offered us a suite to make up for the inconvenience. We decided to give them another chance, we switched rooms only to discover the suite is in the exact same condition as the previous room. Only one of the two patio doors has handles on it, there is no hot water in the shower, the couch has stains on it, and there is a giant orange extension cord sitting in the middle of the room. Given the upgrade, we overlook and head to the pool with family. While enjoying a beer poolside, we see two lifeguards come to the lazy river and throw a doll in for a surprise “lifeguard training test”. The lifeguard stated they had 10 seconds to make visual contact with the doll, and 20 seconds to retrieve the doll. All 4 lifeguards that were posted around the river failed. Not one rescued the doll, or even noticed it was in the water. That brings us to check out day. We were rudely mistaken that they upgraded us for the inconvenience, they actually double charged our credit card and hit us with an “upgrade “ fee. Needless to say, don’t waste your time staying here. It’s dirty, unsafe, and the clientele is far from anything you want kids around. I only say this as on our last night there, we had marijuana being blown in our windows from the people staying next door. Stay away! Definitely not worth a try.

We loved it!!! The staff was amazing and the resort was beautiful. The kids had a great time in the lazy river and pool. The food was outstanding and the service was fantastic!!! Can't wait to go back!!!

A beautiful resort in a truly peaceful setting. Large rooms with balconies that overlook the lovely golf course. Many areas to relax and renew. Lovely patios to enjoy coffee or drinks with friends. Thoughtful menus and great food at Blu Ember. Outstanding staff and overall a great guest experience.

Had a great time at the Omni Ranchos Las Palmas Resort. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are large and decorated beautifully and the beds are really comfortable. My husband and I were there for a little weekend getaway. There were a lot of kids there and seems to be geared towards families. There was an adult pool which was nice. They have a lazy river but it's full of kids and you cant take your drinks in there so we just left and went to the adult pool. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and felt it was overpriced for what was available and decided to go off site for our meals for the rest of our stay. The resort is in an excellent location with a ton of restaurants and a movie theater right across the street. Staff was all friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the resort and hope to be back soon!

I just called to make a reservation at this resort and was told that because I have 3 children I would need to reserve 2 rooms starting at $299 or reserve a suite for $985. Apparently my 10 year old needs to come up with $685 a night. This is ridiculous. Don’t plan on staying at this resort unless you are very wealth or only 2 have kids.
