Rocky's Pawn Shop San Pablo Ave, Palm Desert

As a rule, I usually don't write reviews but I have to give a shout out to the crew at Rocky's Pawn Shop in Palm Desert. Jess and Chris provide AMAZING customer service. They are knowledgeable about the jewelry they sell but beyond this expertise, they provide valuable insight into what makes for a fine piece of jewelry. I have purchased several high end pieces for my girl there, including a wedding band, and with each purchase they were able to help me choose something that I had confidence in. I've been to many pawn shops and jewelry shops over the years and always had that sick feeling when dealing with these establishments that I wasn't getting the best price or advice. But I can honestly state that this establishment and crew are the customer service kings in pawn for Coachella Valley. Now I don't like going anywhere else when I have a specific jewelry purchase need; it's only Rocky's Pawn Shop in Palm Desert because of the friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Thanks guys....sincerely. You have a loyal customer in me for life!!

Can’t get enough of Rocky’s Pawn Shop! Their staff is great. Particularly the Palm desert (Shout out to Chris), Cat City (Shout out to Rob & Isabella), and Palm Springs. Take advantage of their jewelry sales and best part is they have layaway —10% down and min $10 payments every month. I have only great things to say about Rockys Pawn Shop.

I need to share my experience with Rockys Pawn Shop. Last summer I needed some cash and I know that getting a collateral loan is fast and easy. I took in several pieces of Gold jewelry and they gave me the amount I was asking for. The loan duration is 4 months or less and I have never missed an expiration date. Well this time I did and I was well past the expiration date and I knew my items were gone. Today I went to Rockys in Palm Desert to pick up my remaining ticket and a young man named Chris assisted me. I was telling him how I recently lost some of my wife's Jewelry here by missing the expiration date. He just walked away, the next thing I knew he came back smiling holding the two tickets of jewelry and said they are still here! He told me that if the items are still here Rocky will charge 10 dollars per ticket and let you pay off your loan, or you can rewrite the loan either way I got my stuff back. I don't know of any other Pawn Shop anywhere that does that! Hey Chris Thanks for giving me the idea to wrap up my wife's Jewelry for Christmas. she thought they were gone. She will be so surprised. I recommend Rockys Palm Shop in Palm Desert to anyone!

I had never been in a pawn shop. Always felt they were a little sleazy. And yes, I have watched Pawn Stars.... They made me feel comfortable and welcome. Took the time to educate me on the business, but especially the loan process. I would use them again NMK

A joke for being in the pawn shop business. I know each shop has it's own inventory they want to sell but the unwillingness to even consider to buy my electronics was quite a surprise. Not to mention the two people that assisted me, can't even call it a business transaction when moments before they considered buying someone else's item with no issue (hint: it wasn't a electronic). I will never set foot on this location or any other and will spread the word about this bad business.

I was an inexperienced Pawner. Trying to purchase a home in 7/2020 and short cash about $5,000. I live down the street from Rickys Palm Springs so I grabbed some jewelry and stopped to check it out. Well I just picked up my last few items yesterday. I was appreciative that this was an option available for a quick cash. I blame myself because I did not read my ticket and I did lose one piece, a gift from my grandmother, however she would be happy RIP that I purchased a home with her gift to me. Rocky’s is absolutely amazing they’re very honest They’re very helpful they treat you like a human being even though you’re in a stressful situation having to get loans on your stuff They treat you with dignity. Rocky’s pawn is a very useful resource if you need quick cash for a bill or two and it is much cheaper than payday loans. And they’re just great people I highly recommend them

I have been coming here for years with no problems. This rating is solely on the bad customer service I experienced today. The girl that is always there was very rude and unprofessional. I consider myself a nice person and always try to treat others as I would want to be treated. I dont understand how someone could find it acceptable to talk to a customer in such a belittling tone and then make justification for it after. I went in there today in a good mood to just pay what was due , and walked out shaking with anger . They lost a longtime customer because of what happened today. The girl there really needs to practice better professionalism and how to talk to customers. Very disappointed.

When you have temporary cash flow problems, Rocky’s is a life saver. Friendly staff help you get that $50 you need to pay that last bill and charge but a few dollars for the service. Wonderful.

Never written a review on anyplace but feel this is worth it. The lady at the counter was very nice, but they really try to take advantage of people with the amout they will loan. I was offered $30 dollars for an ipad mini that's a couple months old and in perfect shape. They would most likely get 150-200 for it so looking at over 5 Times what they pay. I understand overhead but this is over the top. Go elsewhere.
