Union Bank K St, Sacramento

There are always homeless people loitering outside and walking up to the drive through teller window while customers are trying to conduct their business. I often have to wait in line for a long time. Their operating hours are shorter than most other banks, making it difficult to get your business done if working normal business hours.

This bank REALLY REALLY sucks! The first day I went in there, it was incredibly slow...there were 3 tellers, and 1 of them was just staring over the shoulder of another teller, as that teller moved at a snail's pace helping a customer...they took about 20 minutes...it was like they were talking about what they had for breakfast. Meanwhile, myself, and about 5 other customers were just standing there, waiting in line for like 25 minutes. All the while, the tellers and managers were completely oblivious of the situation. The man behind me was growing increasingly frustrated (as I'm sure we all were to some degree) because he had circulation problems and was in severe pain, as he could not stand for very long. There was another gentlemen who was harassed about taking his hat off because it was bank policy...this man was black, and about 15 feet away was another customer who was allowed to wear his hat without harassment. The next day I came back and attempted to cash a check...the teller tried to force me to open an account in order to cash the check, even though it was a Union Bank check. He was very cocky and insulting. This bank might as well shut their doors now, because they do not understand customer service, and they are doomed for failure.

Been banking there for years and have had no problems with them nice employees

Been trying to deal with them with some fraudulent charges that appeared on my account. I was told the 2 that were pending I couldn't. There were 2 others and I was told it would take up to 10 business days for them to investigate them. I had assumed since I flagged the 2 that were pending that they w9uodnt go through since I called them and had a claim but they were processed and approved anyway. Approximately 10 days later cjarges were reversed and I tried to phone in in regards to the other 2 and my claim #. Now all of a sudden I needed a password to speak to anyone in regards to this situation. I went into a branch and they had no idea what I was referring to and said I did not need a password. So I called back and they were no help either. I'm still left with charges that were not authorized by me that I let them know about and I'm getting the run around. Mind you the 2 other charges are from tje exact same places. You would think they wouod be able to flag any others and not allow them. I mean I did everything in my power to alert them and had them send me a new card. And I have had no help whatsoever today even going back and forth to their branch bank which is not convenient. After all this is done I will not be banking with them any further. I've Been with them over 10 yrs. Their customer service sucks
