U.S. Bank Branch W Hill Field Rd, Layton

My mother recently passed away and I am the trustee of her estate. I was worried it was going to be a huge ordeal to get access to my mother's and the estate's accounts, but the branch manager, Jack, helped facilitate the transfer and I couldn't be more pleased with how smoothly and pain free it went. Jack was friendly and efficient, and took care of everything.

I never write reviews but I was so frustrated with the service I received that I felt compelled to write one. I went in on a Monday afternoon and there was only one other person in the branch. There were about 7 employees. The branch assistant manager Annette Rhoades helped me and it was nothing short of pathetic. It took 20 minutes for her to activate my debit card and give me my balances. She didn't talk to me while she was on her computer and I had no idea what she was doing and had to ask. She checked her phone and was helping the other reps with stuff. If she was helping other people, why not send me to a teller who could actually take the time to resolve my issue? I ended up not being able to resolve everything I had gone in for because it took so long and I was going to be late for work. Also, she told me that they changed my checking account type without telling me and started charging me maintenance fees! I have my mortgage there so I shouldn't be paying any fees. I will be quickly closing my account and hoping to never deal with this awful branch again.

I like US Bank. I've been banking with them for a number of years now. I like their extended hours on Saturday, because I am way too busy during normal banker's hours. I've never been disappointed by the quality of service here.

I can't give zero stars. Full of people who are horrible at customer service. The absolute worst bank and branch in Layton. Take your business elsewhere, because US Bank will only infuriate you. They would not accept a cash deposit because they said it's their policy to not accept more than $500 in cash. What kind of an ignorant bank branch REFUSES CASH ON A VALID ACCOUNT DEPOSIT? obviously that question is rhetorical because this Layton branch did just that. -Worst customer service -Worst product knowledge -Worst policies -Absolute worst at caring about account holders needs. This branch should be closed and the bank manager fired.

Disappointed that the drive thru is not efficient! Been stuck between two cars for 10 mins, for a withdrawal. Should hire more help to help with drive thru customers!!!

Slowest bank drive through with friendly customer service. It took 22 minutes to make a loan payment through the drive through. We were the only car in line. 7/10/22 @ 2pm. Also, super sad that your normal hours now do NOT include Saturday’s. Corporate policies are NOT supporting the Consumer 👎 anymore.

I’m was having some issues with a check from insurance and Jack and his team went above and beyond to help me get it all worked out! Highly recommend!

There is plenty of variety but the food quality is not appreciated. It also costs more than what I thought was appropriate just because it was the weekend. All together, the service wad good but the quality of the food was subpar.

Not very great customer service. Usually spend around 15-20 minutes for something that should take no more than 3 minutes. If you can, bank somewhere else.
