TruStone Financial Credit Union Elm Creek Blvd, Maple Grove

I’ve always had a pleasant experience with any of the employees that I’ve dealt with. Unfortunately, in my 28 deposits into a business account this year, on four different occasions the person taking care of my deposit put my funds in the wrong account creating overdrafts, which should never have happened in the first place. They were apologetic and corrected their mistakes, but it’s cost me over two hours of my time.

I can only assume the people giving bad reviews don't bank at the Maple Grove branch. I left Wells Fargo after banking there for many years, and can't say enough about the quality of people and services I've received there. I'm pushing my two sons who recently moved into the Maple Grove area to open accounts and establish a banking relationship there.

Worked with Mr. Noah Hansen and Mr. Alexander Bye setting up my personal and business accounts. They were very easy to work. They are both honest, efficient, and knowledgeable. I won’t be banking anywhere else.

TruStone recently merged with Firefly. If you happened to be a FireFly account holder, it is likely you have had a very rough week. FireFly account holders had their accounts moved and their credit cards cancelled as part of the merger. FireFly account holders get to spend a bunch of time setting up new credit cards and verifying new accounts. If you have a problem with your account, be prepared to wait and wait to get help from an offsite call center that can't actually do anything. I always had amazing customer service with FireFly. So far, the TruStone service is horrible and I plan to transition to another bank over the coming months. Had I known how poorly the merger was going to be, I would have moved accounts a while ago.

I'm so happy I left Wells Fargo. TruStone is a great bank. It's a lovely building, great customer service and really fair banking. I'm never getting mysterious charges on my accounts or any of that kind of crap that the big banks do constantly. It's just real, honest banking and thank God that still exists.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at this location today. I went in to do a name change, I provided my replacement drivers license that was voided with the white paper that had my pic on it. With my debit card and the banker told me the paper ID was not valid as a stand alone ID. Clearly it was not stand alone because it had the voided ID to go with it. He started to ask me to email him my utility bills to verify my address. I’ve never heard any bank asking for utilities bill to verify address. He was so incompetent to do his job he later told me my original divorce decree was no good because it was from overseas. But it’s a legal document and the DMV used the same document to update my name. I love TruStone as a bank and this was my first bad experience.

The worst service a bank can provide. Everyone in the company is doing the bare minimum and going through the motions sloppily. The higher ups in the company "check emails" all day but can never actually manage their mistakes.

I was with Firefly before they merged with Trustone. Firefly was the perfect, convenient kind of credit union you always want to be with. Even thier app was perfect. They were absolutely so convenient. Then they merged with Trustone. Then the complete opposite happened. I hate thier app and dislike thier features. They are rigid and inconvenient. Ugh. HELLO TRUSTONE. WAKE UP AND TAKE SOME LESSONS FROM FIREFLY ON HOW THEY DO THINGS.

Have problems with my "new" card more than ever, tired of holding up lines at the cash register when I clearly have cash in my checking account. All you guys did when I came into the bank was to tell me to keep using it cause it should be working and if not come back again.
