One Star for lack of an option for 0. I waited in the lobby perhaps 50 mins until the "Branch Leader" stepped out to ask "who was next?" to which I replied "I was", Unfortunately I was cut off by another customer who said she was there "an hour ago" I witnessed said customer walk out of the building several times. Now, it is to my knowledge that when one is in queue, once you leave, you lose your place in line, weather in a bank or at the food court! I overheard said customer mention as well that she had no prior appointment, insult to injury if you ask me. when I brought this up with the "Branch Leader" she lied to me claiming she did have an appointment, as if I were not sitting mere feet away. The audacity and lack of customer service surely will keep me away from this branch forever.

The ATM is useless. U cant make any cash withdrawal and it's gonna be out of service next month. BBT really went down hill after becoming truist

No wonder this location has rating of 2.0, I went for drive thru window today and waited almost 30 min to deposit a check. Also manager told me that they can't do nothing for delay without any apology with careless nasty looking face. it was my worst banking experience.

Worst BB&T I've been to within 330 miles of here. Started out okay, did what I needed but seemed kinda slow and like nobody totally knows how to do things, but whatever. And then it happened. Someone I'd never seen before forced me to fill out a deposit slip. I told her I have never had to, and my hometown doesn't even have those out for people. She kept insisting it's "always" been this way and is that way at every branch. She made me write only the most irrelevant things, like name & address & check amount, which she already had in front of her...... I told her call the Galax VA location and they'll tell you I'm not lying. By then she just straight up went in the back to deposit my stuff, and I'm so done I'm switching banks. I can't drive 12 hours a month just to do my banking, and no way am I going to be lied to, argued with, and forced to do anything by anyone.

I have a business account for over ten yrs. I manage a $95,000.00 per month in this account and I asked for a cashiers chk. there was a $10.00 dollar fee I asked to wave the fee do to my long term relation w/ this bank, The BB&T that I normally go to never charges me. There manager said that they don't offer that feature in a business account and that they can not wave this small fee. I know that BB&T doesn't make there money on cashiers chk`s. Bottom line not a friendly banking branch not smart customer service. dissatisfied customer. I get bombarded by other banks for my business and don't charge all this fee`s I will consider closing this account soon.

I have an auto loan with this company, since the merge they have taken out 2 payments a month out of my account. Called to cancel auto pay, Truist said they couldn’t do it. And I couldn’t do it on their web site where I set up auto pay. They suggest I call my bank where the funds were coming from, where I was charged a service fee of $30.00 to stop the payment. This is ridiculous that you can’t have control over your on account. And that the bank it self can’t help you or want help you cancel a payment you set up on their on web site. They don’t care about you business. And there is plenty of other banks out there that do.

One of the worst banks. Extremely horrible customer service. The people working here need to go back to school and learn how to serve customers.

Worst customer service I have had to deal with at a bank. Every time a member of their team does something against policy, they act like it is your fault. They are always SO rude whenever I have to call!

Went in again because after closing out everything (or so I thought), I was still receiving those credit card offers for cash back if you shop at certain places. Turned out they never closed my credit card. I have months of late fees, and the branch kept twisting my words and not getting what the real problem was. They were hyperfocused on why I closed my accounts & insisted I was receiving marketing mailings. They wouldn't even check my account until I directly asked about credit cards and then insisted "that's separate, we don't do that", then tried to get me to sit down with them so they could "help" me. I refuse to sit with anyone I don't trust, so I left and called the credit card service #. After 15min and just my name & SSN, the lady had it closed regardless of it having a balance and said I'd get a bill for that in the mail. I don't mind late fees when it means I m out of their hellish web! But I do mind the damage to my credit score.
