Truist Frederick Rd, Catonsville

I never write reviews but personally depend on them when I'm out shopping so I feel as though I should tag Catonsville BBT, now Truist as BUYER BEWARE. BBT always fell short when it came to customer service. They never answered the phone and terribly slow processing transactions. Just recently I found out one of my accounts that I don't frequently use had over $400 in monthly fees withdrawn because it fell under the minimum threshold even though I have multiple account with substantial balances to replenish. Once I researched further I realized it had been happening for 3 years and never heard once from BBT that one of my account fell out of compliance until one day I noticed I had an account that was under $50 dollars. I addressed this August of 2020 and have gotten bounced around having to proactively follow up every single time which meant frequent visits to the branch because no one ever answered the phone. When the branch manager finally got involved I felt she brought no value to the situation and didn't really understand the details of the situation. I stayed very patience throughout the last 12 months understanding some of these situations take time to research however in the end Truist kept my money. My advice to all is if you have options I would highly recommend to stay clear of Catonsville Truist. It will be a headache closing all my accounts however after this experience I want nothing to do with this branch and financial institution.

this is an update to 3 other 1 star reviews I have given this bank over the years: I have had a business account here for 20 years, this particular location is a disaster and truly an inconvenience to deal with. Specially if you are busy and on the go type of person. this place is truly a master of upsetting their clients minimum wait time is 15 minutes here on any given day. just today!!! I go to get some cash out of account! give teller check with my name on it, drivers license and business bank card all indicating that i am who i say i am .while wearing the uniform of my business with its logo on it...same logo on the check. she react in a sarcastic/surprised way, "oh this is your account". i replied yes and that i am at work and having a busy morning, so i would appreciate if she could help me by expediting the simple process of withdrawing some cash from my account I give teller all necessary documents that proves i am the owner of the account, she still managed to interrogate me as to why my previous check numbers were not in order ..she scrolls mouse up and down for about 7-10 minutes in a condescending fashion hoping to find a way not to cash my check. while mumbling all these random questions about my account that has nothing to do with what i am there for today.. she Then goes on to tell me don't be frustrated. I am still going to cash your check, as if she is an authority figure that decides whether or not I get to cash my check today. .not realizing it is my right as a client to use my funds in the account however and whenever I wish. she seemed bummed out that she couldn't find a way to not cash my check....making it seem like i am doing something shady, not caring that i have been a loyal client for years and have given them plenty of business...I was in a rush and didn't have time to explain to her : but this bank manages to showcase arrogance, ignorance and a horrific sense of mistrust to their long term business customers. I cannot wait to close my accounts with truist.

ATM is always down. Inside is dirty and the employees are not informed about what's going on. The manager is a clown who made me disclose publicly that I have a disability. Never using this bank again.

I went in to pay my car off. Joshua helped me out and he was great. He congratulated me several times and joked that they normally throw confetti in that situation. It was quick and easy, and there was no wait. A+ experience!

Friendly staff. A much better experience compared to many other banks

Staff is very professional, extremely helpful, and very kind . I ve been here on a few occasions, had to do a estate account for a family member who passed, they were more than eager to help and everything was explained to me , questions were answered and they give you the best options .

Do not like this bank at all!! Things should be easier not more difficult….. I wish BB&T were still around😫

SunTrust in general isn't my favorite big bank, but the teller here named Sandy is literally one of the best bank tellers on the planet!

Awesome customer service. Extremely friendly and helpful. Probably the best in person bank experience I have had so far. Deborah (the manager), in particular is extremely good at her job.

Excellent customer service. Their business banker in particular is top notch.
