BB&T has the best rates on auto loans and this location has the nicest, most knowledgeable staff (the branch manager, Sam, is the best). If you have financed a used car and used the dealership to find you the "best" rate, then unless you are a manager at the car dealership, you did not get the best rate you qualified for. The finance manager gets a rate back and then adds extra points to it in order to make more money for the dealership. BB&T does *not* do this so whatever rate you qualify for, they'll give you. The dealership where I was shopping at told me that the best rate they could give me was in the high 3's due to the type of vehicle I was buying. I knew this was a load of poo so I called Sam at BB&T and asked her to see what rates they could get me. They got me 2.05% on my used car. The dealership, of course, started backpedaling and saying they were somehow able to match it (meaning they could have gotten it for that rate all along but they were trying to make additional money from me). If you currently have a vehicle financed and are curious if you're paying too much interest, call Sam at BB&T. If you know your credit score, Sam can give you an idea of the rate you'd qualify for, and then if you would like to proceed, she can run your credit to finalize the deal. Sam was quick and responsive and really knew what she was talking about. Just one point of interest can save you over a thousand dollars over five years. It's definitely worth a phone call to check with Sam on rates. You could end up saving thousands of dollars like I did!

My father and I have kept in touch with the branch manager, Sam. She used to work at the Grapevine location. Sam always goes above and beyond our needs and is very transparent about what she can do/ what she is doing to help us. I highly recommend working with her with anything you may need assistance with.

This branch is the best! As a biz owner, it's nice to know when I call several months later they actually know who I am. Sam is great to work with and the other team has always been friendly and accommodative. Even tho BBT is not my go to bank for certain reasons, when I do have to interact the team at Denton 288 makes it enjoyable!

Opened an saving and checking account end of April. Recieved a letter dated April 28th stating we are closing both accounts with no reasons. Also stated they will send a check for the opening amount of deposit. Was told to closest branch about refund. Month later nothing.
