TransUnion seems to be willing accomplices to collection agencies that are extorting consumers. The collection agency can send you a bill, that you don't owe, and use the weapon of reporting you to the credit bureau and damaging your credit if you don't pay. TransUnion seems to have no interest in correcting this scam. I guess that the collection agencies are paying them too much money for TransUnion to stop this extortion. I have disputed this inaccurate information and they still didn't correct it. Good luck if trying to communicate with TrasUnion to correct it. I spoke to 6 agents today. I guess they assume that if you keep giving all of your information over and over, you'll finally give up.

I called to verify my FICO number, after giving my social security number, dob, phone, and address. AARP ESSENTIAL CREDIT CARD said to call this number for dispute. The person I spoke with told me they couldn’t help, and I had to logon to annualcreditreport.com and then pay .99 for my score. I guess AARP numbers are not correct. But they tell you to call this number for Transunion. Something stinks

By far the worst of the three big agencies. Makes it very hard to freeze or unfreeze credit. Obviously it’s to make more money selling your info. Pitiful company.

I had enough, I had to report TransUnion to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (which was helpful). I wasted too many days in useless phone calls for hours. TransUnion should be shut down. Your Customer Care representatives in India and Philippines are overworked, undertrained, and have no basic understanding of how things works in the USA. It is almost impossible to get any information visibility, updated, or modified. All they want you is to pay or go to their website. I paid to move forward faster and cannot do much either. I have been extremely patience. Over 7 calls in 2 months, paid a subscription, and I am still moving in circles. Their level of unprofessionalism and ruthless is so obvios that this offshoring game will get back to you soon. Neither it has been safe the way they have asked me for all my personal and confidential information over the phone. This is a major gate for identify theft. Well.... I guess TransUnion doesn't care, because they can sell you an Identify Theft Monitoring Service. SO SMART!!!

I didn't know I was going to pay $26.95 for a user name and password. Not the credit report you're advertise. Nope, you want me to pay a separate $29.95. What a scam.

If I could give a negative 100 I would . I am a widowed, over 65 , and woman who had her credit report held hostage by this company. My report has 10 negative reports belonging to someone else . They have the same name but different SS and birthdates are different. After contacting each company on the report everyone confirmed it was not me . Transunion is to blame! I have talked to 10 people and given my SS and birthday to try to get answers this leaves me open to more fraudulent charges. I feel sorry for the people who are unable to get help because of age, race or social standing Someone needs to be held accountable

There is something very shady about this company and its location. The building is closed yet they're still in operation. The star rate on this site give them only one star. I am quite sure that this place is a storefront to collect personal data and sell it. I feel very uncomfortable knowing that they allow foreigners access to American citizens private information. I feel that this place is a fraud.

Im giving it 1 star because I cant do 0. You have to pay for every single thing to go somewhere and something still takes time. This company should not be consider one of the main credit bureau. Customer service is the worst and they are sketchy how they ask for your info.

Absolutely horrible service, inaccurate investigations and slowest at fixing mistakes on credit report !!! I disputed an error 4 times and they still haven't corrected when all the other credit bureaus have, I would like to know how they are allowed to even be responsible for control over your lively hood.

Trying to buy a home loan and this is the only Bureau who will not release my credit score to my lender without me sending in a copy of my social security card by snail mail. They will not use fax or email. Then it takes 5 business days after they receive it. The automated system never works when you try to call them and when you do get a call back it has showed "Amazon.com" and "Decatur County Jail" as the callers. What a pain in the a*s this agency is!

I was on hold for 20 minutes, and when they picked up, they had me muted, and hung up on me(I checked my phone and I wasn't muted), then the lady that picked up the phone talked so fast and with such a thick Indian accent, I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times.

I didn’t feel comfortable at all speaking with someone that sound foreign, not to sound like a bad person because i’m foreign as well.. the guy kept asking me to repeat my social security number numerous times throughout the phone call after i just experienced a terrible scam, that’s not the best way to go about trying to assist me. i only felt more uncomfortable and uneasy giving my information.
