    This is by far the worst bank I have ever worked with! I think this is the first negative review I've ever posted. I say that, because I want you to know just how unpleasant my experience has been, and to help as many people avoid this bank as possible. For context, I made the mistake of using this bank for a car loan without doing enough homework on them. Shame on me. I am going to take a hit to my credit score to refinance. The customer service is terrible. Every time I get a call from them, I have the displeasure of speaking with someone that seems to like they just got off a heated call with another unhappy customer. I always feel like I'm talking to a teenager that has the sole job of calling people to complicate a simple transaction...and to annoy their customers. The technology they use is outdated. There is no way to pay online so I had to set up an autopay with my bank, which seems to be difficult for them to deal with every month. It's 2017 and they don't have an online payment system! I assume this is the case because traditional mail is slow and more likely to create late fees. This seems like the type of bank that would go out of their way to look for ways to charge their customers more, instead of simply providing a better service. I strongly recommend you stay away from this bank! Customer service is incredibly important. Every interaction you have with another person is an opportunity to improve or depress your mood. The people that work here will depress your mood. Do yourself a favor and work with companies that respect the impact they have on your attitude or you'll be taking time out of your day to write a negative review about them in the future.

    this is the worst bank I've ever had. Roslyn the branch manager is rude and no understanding. They are too money hungry to be such a un known bank and that's why there is only 1 of them. If your thinking about opening an account with this bank I would advise against it! Roslyn is real fake nice so don't be fooled by the fake! Stay away! They have been charging me for achs when there's no money in my account even after I asked them to do a stop payment! Now I owe over 700 in over draft fees? And she can't waive any and my family has been going there for over 4 years! If I could rate no stars I would.

    As soon as I get my automatic deposits changed I am closing my account with Transtar Federal Credit Union. They have TERRIBLE customer service and their 3rd party bill payment company is incompetent. More specifically the branch manger Geraldine hung up a call on me and was unwilling to call me back. I was nothing but polite on the phone because you kill more bees with honey right, but they are rude and in my opinion do not care about their customers. I did a bill payment on 11/22/13 and it did not reach the destination until 12/12/13, the promised date was 11/29/13. They said it was due to the account being entered incorrectly, but that was not true. The bill payment was set up 3 years ago, previous payments made it without issue. I would highly recommend you take your banking business else where.

    I been with transtar for 10yrs...but lately since they began these updates and this new system. My debit card has been breached through their system 3 times with hackers getting into my account the 1st two times its was one cent, fifty cent taken BUT this 3rd time my ENTIRE. CHECKING account was wiped out with hackers ONLINE....How can their system be breached this Many times with me as a Target...The excuse Is when i go into the bank ur not the only their was other ppl as well. I am STRONGLY thinking of doing business else where. Very Disappointed Client.

    I have been with them for 6 Years and unfortunately for them they are very inconsistent in there business operations and how they handle accounts and I'm speaking about Geraldine and Anna and also Anna has the worst and most horrible customer service skills it's hard to see that she ever made a supervisor position because she is what you would call "ghetto" in the way she speaks and treats customers. Maria is a Solid 10 and the only reason I have done business with this place for years but they don't care about you as a customer or person all they care about is money and they have lost a customer and gained a BBB quote as well as bad reviews from me across all social media possible. Mr. Tuggle "The President" of the credit union who has done business with me in my line of business in the past wouldn't even get on the phone and speak to me and shows me that he is a liar because he said if I ever had a problem I could give him a call and well I emailed him and called him but he refused to speak to me. Shows you can smile and shake hands and give a good feeling but when it comes time to step up to the plate he is all talk and all about the money and not customers.

    I have banked with Transfer for over 5 years and I didn't have to actually go up to the bank until I started having bills of my own. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. Kay and Roslyn are the worst. They have the most sour attitudes. I pray I don't have to deal with either of them every time I have to go up there. They treat me like I am a criminal and I am trying to steal their money (Over draft protection). If things don't change around there I will be withdrawing my money and bank elsewhere. I will also be taking my mother to bank elsewhere. Thanks Kay and Roslyn!!!

    I regret ever taking out an auto loan with this bank. For four months they have promised to fix an issue that was not my fault, but the loan officer, Jay Driver, would not return my calls, nor return my emails. I started the process in May; it is now September. Completely unacceptable.

    I have been with this bank for about 17 years, mainly because my banking needs aren't too complex. However when my card was cancelled due to fraud, Rosyln, decided that it was ok to forget sending out my card, which could then not be forwarded to me abroad. This meant that I was paying for foreign exchange fee's because Rosyln decided it was ok to "forget" to do her job. Nevermind that it costed me money, and she reiterated that I have enough money in the bank so I shouldn't worry about losing more than I need to - nevermind that she thinks people with money should just be able to waste it on her inability to do her job. I've had many issues with her in the past but something about the management there seems to keep her there. She also keeps seeking payment for anything she does for customers, not knowing if that's their actual policy to charge customers for something she should be doing for us anyways as part OF HER JOB. I will be looking for other places to put my money.

    I am not a customer I had gotten a flier in the mail to refinance my truck with this credit union it was good APR but the write ups on this website I would not do business with this bank. And 2.7 rating is not good.

    Completely useless customer service. Then wanted me to vacate the drive thru lane while I was trying to sort out a problem with a member bank on the phone when there was no one else waiting.
