They wanted to tell me a excellent condition iwatch series 4 special edition is only worth $20. They lose value , the daytime manager said. Brought in a ring that was appraised at $1,500 she offered $180. I understand that they have to make a profit and it’s business. Nothing sat right with me when I got these offers. They lowball hard! I also got to hear all about the mangers stories of how she was tired and mad that her employee disrespected her while she was talking to another customer. All around shady and bad experience. Go elsewhere.

Well now since this ordeal about being the investigation, I have been trying since this week, Monday, to get in contact with someone. I need to get my money back on what I have paid so far for rings on layaway. I have also emailed. Now these people sound and look shady.

I recommend you go anywhere else! They don't give fair prices. If you lose one item in pawn they don't allow you to pawn anymore. They don't wear masks and the manager guy was loudly telling everyone of his coworkers how he thinks he had a sinus infection while not wearing a mask and blowing his nose in front of customers. They look up pricing by looking for the lowest number that the item is being sold for. It's a joke and I would not recommend them!

Worst business ever. Went in to pay my ponds and was told someone had paid them this was around Christmas and the lady made it seem like it happens all the time. Came back to pick my items up and they had sold them said that I didn’t pay for them. But of course no one wanted to take responsibility because they all are very disrespectful and uneducated. So I lost my earrings that I had for over 20 years which was the biggest hurt out of all items.. I always paid my stuff on time and because of their error and their new employee not knowing what she was looking at I lost my stuff and nothing was ever compensated. Nasty little females in there working also and scary as hell want to act all big and bad behind the desk but then as soon as you see them outside they don’t got nothing going on. I will give them negative -0 negative negative if I could they don’t even deserve the one. Do not trust them with anything that you want back.

Never really had a problem with them, but recently I had to loan my gaming laptop, when I went to go pick it back up, it took them 30 minutes to find it, then when they did they lost the charger and told me that I didn't bring one in... Really girl? Just give me my charger. Why y'all gotta play games? Organize your stock room! Do your job!

As a local guide, I check local businesses, from time to time. So, I decided to check out this pawn shop due to the low review rating. First off the older staff is nice, but the younger staff is entitled and very rude. Also the lack of knowledge, is mind-blowing. I had a Strange Tales #169, yeah I know, one the biggest comic books out, because Doctor Strange 2. They look it up on eBay, and say my NM- copy is worth the price of a $50 coverless copy. These people's knowledge is beyond a joke. They lost a great deal on a comic book everyone wants. Well, because they'll never do their homework. They're getting this review, because of the horrible attitude.

Chelton and plate location is amazing. I bought a phantom drone from them and when I got it home I realized that the wifi was completely changed and locked. I called and spoke with Jim and he told me to bring it back in and he would take care of me either way. He ended up calling his computer guy and within 2 days it was cleared up and my own password was put in. You will not find a friendlier or a staff more willing to take care of their customers. From guns to tools to electronics and miscellaneous items, they have a great selection. I will be back and I would recommend this pawn shop to anyone.

I've been to every pawn shop in Colorado Springs and after going to Top Dollar, it's always the first and usually only place that I have to go for what I need. They have a massive selection of items and the best part is that it's all great quality stuff for a good price. I've never been anything but the upmost satisfied with my experience at Top Dollar. Everything I've purchased there has performed beautifully and is holding up well. This place has the best people, the best selection, and most importantly... the best prices. Take it from me. Don't waste your time and money with other places that act like they could care less about your business. Go somewhere you will be treated as family. Go to Top Dollar Pawn. Went here about 2 weeks ago to pick up a record player, brought it home and it seemed to have some problems so we brought it back and they were so nice and helpful, fixed our problems with ease and always kept a great attitude. These people are very friendly and they have amazing prices! Definitely recommend this place they have some great stuff and great staff! Thanks guys!

I have been having my mother in law pawning one particular item for me each month to get by and every time we go in there is nothing but great service. The owner Walt even makes a point to start a conversation with us every time. This last time we went in my item was 84.00 to get out and my wife gave him 100.00 he accidentally short changed her and before we walked away from the counter she said something to him. Without hesitation he realized his mistake and gave back the proper change which came in handy because we have a newborn who needed diapers. I would highly recommend this place of business to everyone I know. Thank you for being so honest and customer friendly!!!

Was kind strange wen walk in to the top dollar pawn. Because that place was we're I got my first job in 1997 that was red lobster store 120 one of the first red lobster restaurant all usa. I worked there for 12 years. So now is a top dollar pawn shop. The employee are friendly they have a big inventory I recommend it.

The prices are absolutely unfair. They will lowball everything you bring in and then mark it up triple on the sales floor. Owner will pass off broken name brand items for more than MSRP. Interest rates are higher than the sky. Sales floor is crowded with random things. Staff is unfriendly to people that aren't causing problems. All around unpleasant place

A while back one of the employees literally followed me up, the hill to my place. And i was like what the hell. That's very unprofessional and was creepy i highly recommended, not to come to this pawn shop

So I was In Colorado for a work assignment and on my off day I wanted to go shopping. Google a pawn shop and Top had the best reviews. Went there not expecting to spend much. Well well 🗣Ms. Pinky (which I asked her where was brain😂) helped me choose everything I wanted for a dam great price. She was very sweet. She wasn’t trying to just make a sale she wanted to make sure I got everything I wanted and she did just that. I bought 6 items and I love them very much. Place is crazy packed and not well organized, but a TON of inventory. The manager type lady (older lady with short red/maroon hair) was extremely rude. I was in there with over 10 minutes before close and she refused to help me saying they were already closed. Thankfully, another gentleman was able to quickly tell me they didn’t have what I was looking for and was able to get me on my way before they closed.

I understand people don't know I'm a local guide when I walk in, but that shouldn't matter. You should treat everyone with respect. That being said, these pawn hacks have a nice older staff, and a very rude and entitled younger staff. Plus, the level of knowledge there is so low. I bring in a none slabbed NM- Strange Tales #169. It's Brother Voodoo's first appearance, yeah I know big issue, and Brother Voodoo will be in Doctor Strange 2. These people try to say it was worth $50. The exact price of a coverless Strange Tale #169. So, because they don't know anything about comic books, they lost a really big deal. Now, because how rude their younger staff is, they're getting this review.

Accepted items that belonged to my friend that was stolen less than a week ago. When he went in to talk to this shop about the stolen items they blew him off. Not to sure on what the policy is on that or accepting stolen items and refusing to release them is, but to me, I would avoid this place in total. My choice for a good pawn shop with actual decent humans is drive a bit further to Fillmore street and try the shops there. Their Loads better and actually care about the customer. Also, please ignore my one star rating, sadly it was the lowest option they had.

Pinky worked with my husband and i to buy a gold/diamond ring today. The specific questions that she asked were perfect for narrowing down what we were looking for. She is the best sales woman we have experienced in a pawn shop! We will definitely return to shop. Thx

Went to do a return and was told I had to wait for the Owner because there was nothing wrong with the product. Waited in their trashy / cluttered store for over 30 min.. Owner is jive and will pretty much steal your money. Receipt says "30 warranty with receipt " . I brought the item back after 2 weeks and the owner wouldn't even give me store credit for an UNOPENED item with the receipt. Told me "we're not walmart" and our arrangement was "fair". Ended up with 50%of what I paid on a return. So be sure you REALLY want something before you give this POS your money.

I have been treated rudely in the past at TDP, but today met Jim, one of the owners, and he rehabbed my opinion of the place. He was nice, courteous, and respectful. He did not act like he could care less whether i was satisfied, but instead treated me like he valued my patronage. Kyle was also great to work with.
