Top Cash Pawn 14th St, Plano

I went to this shop this morning and the short Hispanic guy at this place was not professional at all and was very rude. He was on his phone the whole time. Since I first walked in, I noticed he was super unprofessional in the way he answered the only 2 questions that I had. He called me cheap for asking for a $5 discount. Really? I left the store without buying anything thanks to his attitude and disgusting behavior. I hope the owner reads this because it is employees like this that makes customers not want to come back.

Claim one thing, carry the item in, make an excuse, offer half. Refused to return of a laptop that had a blown up battery that I purchased 2 days ago. Absolutely would not recommend, get better prices at a garage sale. Also- avoid Brian, gent speaks with a derogatory tone, and a massive superiority complex.

Honest , fair, great things and good business people

I sold jewelry here today and I had a great experience. Pawn shop employees get a bad rep the same way used car salesmen do, but I really got the impression that they are honest and fair in their offers. The storefront is currently missing it's sign, but don't be deterred by it looking a little rough around the edges. Everyone was very polite and I'm glad the positive reviews lead me there!

Horrible customer service, rude and unprofessional towards us. Just asking normal questions, and getting offended, raising voices, etc. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody trying to have a halfway decent experience.

Brian is the man to talk to in this friendly corner pawn shop. Store is very clean and has good product. Not run down like most pawn shops. Employees are attentive and exceed expectations. Great, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Friendly, patient, and very helpful staff are honest and pleasant to interact with. Inventory is A-1 and prices are very very fair. Whoever manages inventory clearly knows what they're doing. Came in right as they were closing but was invited in and told to "take my time" anyway. Tons of interesting tech and tools, can't wait to spend all my money here on Friday.

This place is amazing. Even better since a certain employee left. Management has done a great job that guy was so rude. So greatful to have a place just like this when I need some extra cash. They're more reliable than family. 👍

I tried to do business with this establishment in June 2017. I experienced racism, unfair service, deception and unethical business practices. The goods I purchased did not work (Rug Doctor X3 Pro). I had to pay to have the item repaired and the owner treated me as if it was my fault. The owner instructed me to go and have it serviced and he would do the right thing and at least pay for half the service charges. When I went in to let him know the motor was defective and needed to be replaced. He told me that it as not his problem. Stay away from these loan sharks. There are reparable businesses in Plano, TX. However, Top Cash Pawn should be avoided at all cost. They will not stand by their word. It does not matter if you are black or white; customer service is not important to these guys!

I was helped with what I needed really fast. Great prices. Great employees. And good all around store to shop. Would come back here again.

They sent me home with a miter saw that was missing the piece to mount the saw blade. I called them up and they told me to just come on in and trade it out for any other miter saw they had. Was a great relief since most pawn shops are no exception for refunds or exchanges. Will be going back for all my tool needs.

This is a pretty good pawn shop they give my girl more than her stuff is worth because she pays back religiously.Its almost a monthly thing that I have paid back repeatedly.

By far, the best shops ever. Have used the Plano location for years and since Garland inception, visit there also. Always good to me and my family with utmost respect both ways and if ever an issue, always willing to work with me to keep me from losing precious and sentimental things. We all face hard times and these folks are just so special to me. I couldn't ask God to bless me with such loyal people. Not to mention the humungous inventory with great pricing! They cant be beat! Love these folks! My only places I give my business to because no other shop can compare!

I'm not very experienced with pawn shops but I am experienced with good customer service. Nick and Frank are awesome!! They were both so sweet to me, made the transaction very smooth and seamless! They have cool stuff there too with what looked like cheap prices even though they pay you top dollar for your stuff! How do they do it?! Thank you Nick and Frank!!! I'm forever a customer because of y'all.

I have dealt with this pawn shop along with all others in Plano and they seem quite a bit better than the others. Prices are decent they will work with you most of the time when buying depending on how long they have had the merchandise. I haven’t sold to them but about to and will share that experience as well.

My went went in to pawn some rings. The big guy who spoke to her was rude and wasn't even trying to help. No one from my family or Friends circle will ever do business here again. Which I'm sure they probably don't even care.

Always polite, quick transactions. Good deals to be found on musical instruments especially. Great folks at the counter. Good vibe in the store, and folks who treat you with respect. Highly recommended!

Stopped in for some extra cash to get home from a "girls trip." I would have loved to be buying there instead of selling. The staff treated me like I was an old friend. I wouldn't hesitate to walk into this shop again being a female. Thank you for helping !!!!

Glad that bad clerk is finally gone. He was rude and I never liked him. Taylor and the other people are great. I stop in 3-4 times a year when traveling. This store is great.
