Good place for FFL transfers ($25!) and for buying used guns. They have an online store for most of their current firearms on hand and they ways have a pretty neat selection. The staff has always been really friendly and knowledgeable not only about guns but electronics, movies, jewelry and whatever else you might find in a pawn shop.

I've done 2 FFL transfers here in 2022. They were very professional and knowledgeable about the process. Would recommend them

Have given this place a couple chances and They don’t want to give a fair price on anything I feel like they prey on desperate people to underpay for new or used merchandise everywhere else in this business will get on eBay and see what these things sell for and offer 25 to 40 % but not these guys they offered less than 12% and it would be one thing if there resale price reflected that price but of course it doesn’t and the clerk was so lazy instead of looking everything up he looked up 1 or 2 things and and offers me an insulting 10% and told me if i wanted to make more I should go sell it on eBay and when I said ok I’ll just sell a couple things the offer per item went down again. I could use the cash but not enough to justify taking a massive loss so very disappointing….

I bought a gun from someone off Armslist and we met here to do the required transfer. Just a nice little shop with nice people working behind the counter. They have a nice gun selection also. Most pawn shops have that weird kind of feel if ya know what I mean. This shop doesn't. Just a kicked back kinda vibe.

I was looking to buy a firearms and was very intimated by the idea of going to a gun shop as a women. I decided to buy a firearm online and have it transferred to Tigard Pawn 4 More because my husband had something transferred there before and it was an easy process for them. My firearms arrived and turned out I was sent the wrong one. Allen and the team handled everything quickly with the broker and had great communication with me the whole way through. When my firearm arrived, it was a quick process to get my background check and get on my way. I love how everybody wears a mask (THANK YOU!), customers are limited in the shop, and the environment is welcoming. I didn't want to have to go to a gun shop where the environment was intimidating or threatening. If you are a femme, I highly encourage you go here to have a firearms transferred. Allen was super helpful to answer questions for me as well. Big thanks to everybody there!

I had a pleasant experience here, with help from a gentleman working the gun counter. Came up to a locked door, he greeted me after a minute and I told him what I was looking for. Immediately we both stepped into the store and to the counter. He admitted they had pretty low stock on firearms. Gave me some local advice of where to find what I was seeking, and even referred me to a few nearby stores that carry pistols and other firearm accessories. Generally a helpful and friendly experience, even if I did not make a purchase.

Called to check on a firearm background since it’s been over 2 weeks, lady was rude and not friendly from the start. I’ve called before on many of the other guns I’ve shipped here and the guy was nice-friendly, and kindly told me what number I was in line. She was plain rude for no reason! I was in the process of explaining to her I call to check in order to have an idea when it will clear so I can be off work and she hung up on me mid sentence. I will not ship another firearm here again. Hanging up on a paying customer is 1 of the most disrespectful things you can do as a business.

Hello, Just want to give fair warning if you want to do a FFL transfer at this business. I had called in ahead of time to see what was needed to do a firearm transfer at this location. I was told to bring a color copy of my id to save $2. When I got there there was a lady who was quite rude. She was angry that I did not also bring a trigger lock. I did not know that I needed that and it had not been expressed before hand. when the person who I was going to be selling the firearm to arrived to do the transfer he was put off by how this lady was taking he decided to leave which ruined the deal for me. Ultimately I would not recommend this location to do your FFL transfers. Its hard to explain in words but the lady who was working there just really put off a bad vibe about the process. Take my advice and go somewhere else. this was on 2/16/2020 at 1 o'clock

Have worked with Tigard Pawn 4 More a few times now for myself and also now with a friend who is Chinese and is a proud new gun owner and enthusiast. The shop owner was not only quick, efficient, kind and knowledgeable about the process, but was very helpful to my friend (a new owner), showing them the basics of inspection, safety, storage, clearing the weapon, et cetera when I couldn't make it on time to be present for inspection. The store wasn't busy at the time, but even the time we went when they were busy with the rush of purchases due to COVID, they were nothing but professional and helpful. I can't say anything about the pawn side of their business, other than from a buyer's perspective their prices seem fine. From the FFL Transfer perspective, I don't plan on going anywhere else, even if this place is a drive from where I live.

Highly recommend. This morning my Son and I with my friend went to look at a rifle. The store was very clean and easy to navigate. Easy for disabled persons to get into. We meet with the owner and sale person. Easy to talk to and very friendly. I had talked to the Husband the night before - very nice. This was my Son's first gun and everything went smoothly and very fast. They have beautiful womens jewelry there as well. I highly recommend this store. They were very fare with us. 2021 UPDATE: Tigard Pawn has some of the best prices on handguns in the city as of February 2021. Would highly recommend giving them your business. Fast and Friendly FFL! Have done 5 or more transfers at Tigard Pawn 4 More as of writing this, every single one was fast, and hassle free. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Pawn shops normally bum me out, so when I recently did an FFL transfer here I was relieved that the shop was clean, bright and cheerful. Friendly, efficient operations, and the only place around for FFL transfers that didn't make me feel like I was hassling them with my business. They've been recommended to me for a while, and they were as pleasant to deal with as I'd heard. It's so nice to be able to shop for firearms online now that I know I have an FFL holder that is actually a pleasure to work with.

I just completed my first FFL transfer through them. Great experience! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If you need the assistance of a FFL dealer, you can't do better. Give them a heads-up call or stop in for a chat before your transfer arrives - it will help speed things up and go as smoothly as mine did.

Traded a couple of guns on an old j frame Smith and Wesson. I offered up what I thought was a fair trade which would make us both happy. There was no bickering, just a smooth respectful transaction. I do all my gun transfers here, best price in town plus they always call immediately when gun arrives. I will definitely do business here again. As long as you can separate any emotional attachment and look at it as as business transaction, you should be in good shape at this establishment. Thanks for the sweet J frame I love it!

Prices are now that of a Pawn shop, items are used and in decent shape but not for the price, staff is friendly and condescending, DO NOT PAWN HERE they won't give you any value for your item, the transfer fee on firearms for private party transfers is one of the best around ($25).

Went in to sell some jewelry been a slow mover for me online, and didn't want to pay a high percentage for someone else to sell it. They claimed to tell me the diamonds weren't real and offered me literally less than a dollar for the silver. I had never been more shocked by a business.

I have just recently pawned a couple of items this particular shop. Each time they gave me my full asking price without any haggling. The staff are courteous and friendly and very pleasant to deal with unlike other pawnshops in the area. I would definitely do business with them again and I will recommend them to others.

Apparently if you have a Layaway if you decide don't want to purchase it anymore you get 0 money back. I totally understand a restocking fee but they keep 100% of the money and well of course the item as well. Called other pawnshops to see if this is a common practice well nope they are the only ones that do this. All other surrounding pawnshops has about a 20% restocking fee for Layaway. Mind you I have 100s $ on this item and they get to keep all of it. Is that even legal?

Stopped in to pick up my FFL transfer. Called a few days before my item shipped to let them know it was coming in, and they told me everything I needed to bring with me. Tim greeted me as soon as I walked in, and got everything going without a hitch. Oregon has a bit of a backlog with background checks right now so I wasn't expecting to leave with my item that day. I wandered around the store while my paperwork was going through and saw a couple of things that I might pickup when I go back. Overall, really great experience and very friendly staff.

So I'm in a rough patch in my life so I went to pawn a couple items for dinner money not only was the staff there knowledgeable they were also very free with sharing their knowledge and when I could only get so much and the man behind the counter had heard that I was trying to come up with dinner money and that's why I was pawning my items out of his own wallet he took gift card style money for the McDonald's I'm heading to and handed it to me so that I could make sure I had a good dinner so not only would they knowledgeable friendly they also reached out to help somebody in the community when they knew that they were in a bad place I would recommend this pawn shop to anybody

Highly recommended! I have been using this business for three years now for FLL transfers. They have earned my loyalty with their super friendly and professional service. While everyone I have worked with has been great, I would especially thank Tim, Judy, and Allen for always being so helpful. Great people! Also have made some interesting finds in their ever changing inventory.

I talked to them a handful of times about a handgun I bought online on their site. After they talked with me more, they saw that it was not the best choice, and led me to a much better gun. One I totally love. I so appreciated their expertise, knowledge and sincere desire to match the gun with the person. Got to meet their sweet adorable mascot, Pepper, their German Shepherd, as well. Fantastic service from start to finish. Got to meet some of the people there as well as Tim, the owner. Such a great experience.

I initially was looking to run an FFL transfer for a K31 through here, but while working out the deal with the seller I got sketched out and Tim felt the same way while trying to work out the transfer with the seller and let me know, confirming my concern. With the money saved I checked out their website for an alternative and bought an 1897 through their online ordering, which is really nice since most places don't have it. Stayed in touch with me the whole way and let me know when the payment cleared, and when I came to pick it up everyone was very friendly and the process was very easy. Was enjoyable just to hang out while I waited for my 4473 to go through, and it was all said and done pretty quickly. Definitely recommend both their online store (Which has lots of well lit and well taken pictures from all angles) and physical store, as well as for FFL transfers. The fact the transfer fees are less than pretty much everywhere else is pretty great too. They'll do right by you for sure.

Went above and beyond for my wifes firearm transfer. Long story short Motor Vehicle messed up her ID putting on there that she was a Male. Most places would just run it being lazy. Knowing that it would cause a delay. Which could of delayed the transfer for weeks. They took the time to call dmv and nics. Resolved the problem in no time at all! Thanks appreciate your guys time! We came into the Tigard Pawn to ship four firearms to another state. Never have done that before, and unfamiliar with the process. Tim (owner) was very helpful; the transaction was very quick and he made it very easy for us to complete the deal. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend this business for transferring firearms.

I have transferred a few firearms here; they have always been very professional and easy to deal with. They have a very competitive fee structure, they are professional about the process (unlike some FFLs who really don't like performing the transfer service). They also have a decent selection of firearms...and get some rather strange, unusual and collectible guns in from time to time. I would highly recommend. P.S...the dog does not bite :-).

This place is great. From easy access & parking to the open style store front. Where it seems that many Pawn Shops have embraced the seedy side, this one appears to have gone the other direction. The absolute best place around to handle FFL firearm transfers. Tim, the owner, and his employees are courteous and efficient and I've always been greeted and helped as soon as I walk through the door. As soon as your firearm is delivered you will get an immediate call, not later in the day or tomorrow, but like right now. The fee they charge is probably around the lowest in the Portland area. If you have a well mannered dog they have a treat waiting. Great location and easy parking. In and out in about 30 minutes including background check. Plenty of things to check out while you wait, or get a bite to eat within walking distance.
