The absolute worst mortgage company I have ever had to work with in our 20+ transactions. An issue popped up when their appraiser came up with a 16% lower valuation than the purchase price because he used a year old comp (during the pandemic height), 2 more comps that were completely different than the target home, and didn't adjust for any updates. This company and the mortgage processor sent a form to appeal the appraisal. When the form was completely filled out they refused to use it and said they didn't want to send it in for consideration. When we respectfully asked for a second appraiser to give an alternate opinion and us pay out of pocket Thrive mortgage declined and said they were not going to do anything. I highly recommend you RUN far and fast from this company. Most of the reviews look fake or like friends/realtors they know. If you want additional context feel free to reach out to me. I have proof of everything stated and advise you use a more reasonable company. With the market hot right now it is especially smart to use a lender who won't use baseless appraisers and not get a second opinion when there are massive discrepancies.

Erin was a true Godsend in our home buying process. Our initial lender pretty much dropped the ball on us and Erin was able to pick the ball up and get us into our beautiful new home. She was always available to communicate and very professional. Trust her with all of your mortgage needs!!!
