    Litzy provided excellent service. The reasons I have continued for 40 years to do business with Smart Financial is 1) the people who provide the customer service always provide the very best for the customer and they are polite and caring 2) their car loan rates and financial accounts rates are usually better than the banks I have used at different times. 3) In my retirement accounts at another office of Smart Financial, Felicia Turner has offered exceptional customer service in an area that is difficult for most people to understand.

    My experience was very Professional and unique. My go to person, Litzy Gonzalez made it very pleasant for me, and I was led through the process without any problems.

    I cannot get a monthly loan bill sent to me. If I didn't remember the date I would not know when to pay. When I call they say they've sent bills out... nope not a one. Can someone from KW branch please call me. Other than that the loan experience was just fine no issues.

In the meantime, you can easily set up loan notifications through online banking to receive text or email alerts when your loan payment is due. Go to "Settings" in upper right hand corner under your name, and then to "Notifications" tab. Choose "Loan Payment Due Alert". Someone will be in touch soon in case you have any questions about this.     If I could give zero stars I would. I opened by account nearly 8 years ago at the 105 location, beautiful office and lovely people. Now living in Kingwood, I have been forced to use the Kingwood location these last 5 years. Dilapidated store with terrible customer service. My husband banks at Chase across the street and I'm treated better there than I am when I, the member, walk into Smart Financial. After my numerous horrendous experiences this last month I've had my last straw and will be moving my monies elsewhere. There couldn't possibly be worse customer service anywhere else. Kingwood takes the cake. Especially their management team. My mother has been a member for over 10 years and couldn't believe what I've endured. She has a great team at the Rayford location from what I've heard. Based on these reviews it looks like more and more people are getting a wake up call. There aren't any benefits to being a member at this location. Only badgering.

    Place is trying hard to modernize banking, but it's a big failure for the consumer. There's no tellers here. Expect to wait in a line to wait in a line on the teller kiosk.

    I wasn’t happy when they moved further away from me but their service and interest rates caused me to change from my bank of 30 years. They are always very helpful with all my questions. Like the small intimate space where I am not just one of many unknown.

    Do NOT bank with them. They are very inconvenient. 1) They dont answer my emails about changing my name to my married name. 2) They have phone numbers that dont work on their website. When I lost my debit card I spent over 30 minutes trying to find a way to get it frozen. Finally found a working phone number and the lady needed a LOT of information from me. She even asked me for the card number? I am calling because I lost the card and she asked me for the card number?! what in the world? 3) Customer Service can be very rude. That same lady cut me off twice while I was trying to explain the situation. In response to their ridiculous reply: I DID go to their website and called the numbers listed. I kept getting transferred to a line that stated that Smart Financial is no longer a participant of their services. With most banks you can just deactivate your card from their app. Don’t waste your time. I do NOT recommend them.

    The Kingwood Branch is NOT a full service branch like it use to be before it was moved. Now it’s only a glorified inside ATM service where you wait for a turn to talk on a ph to someone in a different branch. To me that isn’t even personal anymore and I absolutely HATE it with a passion!!!! I started traveling miles farther to go to one that is a normal bank. After my last episode of waiting my turn in line for only one person to get taken care of with a long wait let me see that place is definitely not good customer service plus the people in the lobby trying to get you to say your business and personal information in front of everyone, etc. etc. . You all ruined a good thing when you set it up that way! Your comments won’t fix the problem but giving us a regular bank will. If I could rate a zero I would.

Please keep in mind that Teller 2.0 uses real tellers and does not interfere with a personalized experience. The only real difference is the tellers' location. We are able to serve more members where they are needed most and create a safer experience for our members and staff.     For such a small branch makes no sense to me to use automated ATMs with a tiny video feed instead of an actual counter with people I can see. Perhaps the branch shares workers with other small credit unions. I have used credit unions for 10+ years, this is the worst one by far. Took 5 minutes to do something that took 30 seconds at my Credit union. I'll give a second star because they reached out to me to say sorry but that is only out of sympathy.
