The Wood Group of Fairway was so great to work with! Their communication was excellent. My questions where always answered with great explanations and in a very timely manner. They were always available when I needed them. They had an extremely quick turnaround time on any deliverable. We were actually buying our home in Austin and using an Austin based realtor. Daniel Bechtold, our Loan Officer, made a connection with our realtor and ensured that even though we were working across two different cities with teams that had not done transactions together before; that there were no disruptions or gaps in the process. The Fairway Team obtained a mortgage appraisal for us during a 4 day option period with only 1 day advance notice. Then on top of all that, we closed in less than 17 days and the Wood Group of Fairway had us table funded at our closing. I could not have been more pleased with the Fairway Team and specifically Daniel Bechtold our Loan Officer. We were taken care of like we were part of their family. I would highly recommend using The Wood Group of Fairway; you will not be disappointed with the level of care you receive.

Daniel went above and beyond, always answering our non stop questions as first time home buyers. His expertise and the way he does business has been such a breath of fresh air. Jonathan patiently helped us through every step of the mortgage application process. I imagine that this was about as smooth as buying a first time home could be. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home, especially first time home buyers. Absolutely fantastic experience with Nathan and the Wood Group. I’ve had other experiences in the home loan process where it would have been easier (and more pleasant) to give up a kidney rather than go through the approval process. Nathan was thorough with what was needed, knew what information the underwriters would need, which allowed us to get all necessary documentation in hassle-free. In fact, I was more nervous that we may have missed something leading up to closing because it had gone so smoothly and relatively painless as compared to other home buying or refinancing experiences. Nathan was great to work with! This was my first home purchase and I've been bugging Nathan with questions for over a year now. He was always quick to answer and made sure I understood everything.
