The Servion Group Main St, New Brighton

Their website is glitchy at times, they keep paying our homeowners insurance late. I have to call every year to tell them to pay our insurance and this is not my job. They are nice and polite on the phone, but it takes multiple calls and transfers to get anything accomplished. If I have to call over my insurance next year, I will be making a change. Taxes and insurance were finally paid. Thank you.

They are ok. My biggest complaint is that they mail out your mortgage payment late every month. For example, its September 25 and my mortgage payment is due October 1st. Wheres my bill? I called. It was supposedly sent out on the 10th. Highly unlikely. So here I am at 4am writing out a check to send to them in an envelope I addressed myself and hopefully it makes it to them. My last mortgage company had my bill to me 5 weeks in advance. Not sure whats going on

Communication was a challenge between the Lender and the Real Estate Agent. We are a team that needs to work together to get the buyers to the closing table.

I was dreading the process of buying my first home. The thought of the entire process was overwhelming. The team at Servion made this process more manageable and took me one step at a time. The whole team I worked with at Servion were amazing and I am sure there was a group of people behind the scenes. They answered all of my questions in a timely manner, always professional and friendly when we spoke, and they made the whole process very smooth.

If you are looking for a quick turn around this is not the company for you. Although they were very upfront about a 45 day closing. It was still disappointing especially when we are asked to turn in documents that was a RIGHT NOW approach. Which we did in a very timely manner but that was not reciprocated on the other end. Our loan stayed in underwriting for almost 3 weeks and had not even been assigned an underwriter until days before. The people that purchased our home closed in 21 days so there are lenders that are quite faster even during COVID-19. If you're looking for Southern Charm when speaking to people this again is NOT your lender. The only reason we went with this lender is this is who our Credit Union uses and we had a great experience with the previous mortgage company (colonial mortgage) through the CU. The day we went to closing they had funded early that day so no one was waiting on their money so instead of 2 stars, I give them 3.

Great company to work with when everything is in order. We ended up having a variance issue in the sellers end and it took us an extra month and a half to finalize the mortgage with the additional paperwork we had to resubmit. This affected our final interest rate as it was higher than when we started. Overall we enjoyed the work done for us and the portal made submitting documents easier than I originally anticipated.

Of course I would recommend The Servion Group. They were our first choice when we bought our old house 10 years ago when they were CU Companies and were our first choice when we just bought a new house and sold our old one. Brad has a tremendous group working for him. From our Realtor Steve W to our team of Lenders under the direction of Jason G. I will always recommend their entire line of services offered. They truly work for their members/customers and make sure they are completely satisfied.

Servion made my first time buying a house easy and stress free! I used Servion for all steps of my house buying process. Shout out to Steve in Realty who was absolutely amazing. Amy, Jason and Debbie were very attentive and answered all my questions. Overall a great experience.

My husband and I just purchased our first home. We were so glad we decided to work with Servion. We worked with Paige Lee and she exceeded our expectations of a loan processor. She always got back to me right away, was always very friendly and so helpful with any questions I had. I would recommend Servion to any of my friends!

After the Underwriting process going very smoothly, everything else has been awful. I requested to switch the bank account that my ACH would come out of and they "forgot" to switch the account and I was charged a Not sufficient funds charge from my bank. Then they "fixed" this and forgot to pull my ACH for the next month so I reached out and they took out 2 months of payment. So now I have $4k coming out of my account which changes everything for the month. Seems like this should be the easiest thing, accepting money. I have been very dissatisfied with Servion. They don't take ownership for there mistakes and have too many issues with simple things.

This company's customer service has been a joke from the beginning of our loan process. I have had two previous mortgages alone in my name from other mortgage companies. This is the first time I am doing it with this company and I am doing a mutual mortgage loan. From the beginning, we have been sent incorrect paperwork, our questions have not been answered, we have been expected to sign paperwork within an hour of receiving it and not being able to get ahold of anyone to explain what the paperwork is referring to. Our closing date got pushed back TWICE due to Servion not getting their work done in a timely manner AT ALL, and I just found out I am no longer on the loan even though myself and my partner signed everything because someone once again didn't do their job. We will be switching mortgage companies as soon as we can. I have never left a bad review before, but I just am at a loss of how stressful and ridiculous this process has been. A monkey could do a better job.

Switched to Servion in April 2019 and all has been GREAT - unless you happen to get a call from them. The "customer service" I received was rude and unprofessional, and I actually got hung up on by Theresa when I was asking a question about my mortgage. I called back to speak with a supervisor and, conveniently, got put on hold, sent to a voicemail of someone named Evette, and never heard back.

Our experience with The Servion Group was timely, courteous and always professional. We highly recommend this company for all your mortgage needs! They truly make you feel like you are in good and capable hands. We will definitely use them again and again. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind that everything was taken care of!

Everyone I worked with was very professional and helpful thru the entire refinance. I had my original loan with Servion and chose to do my refinance with them because of the excellent experience I have had with them for the last 9 years. Thank u for making this a smooth transaction. The Servion Group was fantastic to work with! They were knowledgable about all parts of the mortgage process and were able to answer every question I had quickly. They were very prompt in returning calls if not available when I called. They were all courteous, kind, and pleasant to work with. Thanks for making our home buying process so easy!

Hands down the worst mortgage company ever. Brian Olson was the loan rep for the person buying our house. We turned in a contract in Nov before thanksgiving and was asked for an extentsion in Dec. due to a "miscommunication" between Brian and some other rep that works there. 4 deadlines later here we are in Feb. with a " desk reveiw" saying the appraisal that was done isnt in line even though it was 20k above contract price. Then I'm told from the buyer that their "desk review" appraisal from some company who didnt even go in the house is 55k less. This company should be sued for deceptive trade practices. Extremely worthless imo. Use a different company

Our Credit Union reccomended Servion when we decided to purchase our first home. We were a little hesitant to work with a company out-of-state for us, but the Mortgage Team at Servion quickly put us at ease. Their mortgage process is extremely simplified, with a specific contact person at every stage. Their specialists were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive to any questions we had. We were able to contact them via phone, e-mail, and in some cases even by text message. We received daily e-mails or phone calls to check on our progress and see if we had any new thoughts or questions. The Real Estate Agent, Title Company, and Insurance Agency we enlisted for help all had wonderful things to say about their experience working with Servion to help us through our process. In shopping around for the best mortgage rates and contracts, we found their offer to be incredibly competitive. We also found their staff to be much more patient and less aggressive when it came to helping us decide where we would finance our home. Overall, now that we are officially home owners and on the other side of the home buying process, I would reccomend Servion over and over again. They're top shelf, and the difference is clear!

Matt Bartlett and team were sensational in helping us finance a project for our new home. They were incredibly responsive, thoughtful and set everything out for us, every step of the way. It was the easiest process we've gone through. Considering we've purchased multiple homes in the past, refinanced and the like, that says something. I could not recommend Servion more highly. 5 out of 5 stars. A+
