The first interaction I had was with Nic. He was very positive and pleasant to speak with on the phone. He was very knowledgeable and quick in connecting me with his team. Then, I had an amazing experience with Lucas. He really went above and beyond in helping me secure the property with the utmost professionalism and ease. Any time I had a question, he responded very quickly. He was so pleasant during the whole experience, and none of the stress in the home buying process seemed to bring him down. We had an excellent experience with the Nicaud Team when we relocated from New Jersey to Tennessee in 2022. Josh, Lucas, and the rest of the team were Honest, Responsive via phone and e-mail, Knowledgeable of the areas and neighborhoods, Referred us to a competent mortgage company, and - I think the most likeable part was - they listened to what we were looking for, and they didn't try to sell us something that wasn't going to work for our family. My husband and I were looking to move to Knoxville from the west coast. The majority of our search had to be done via phone and internet. The Nicaud team had great Google ratings, so after not having much response from one other realtor, we decided to call this one. (I think because we had a smaller budget, the other realtor didn't make us a priority.) Jake answered the phone, and in our first conversation said he'd be our 'boots on the ground' guy. He was spot on. The market right now is crazy, and we had to put an offer same-day on a listing if we liked it, otherwise it'd be in escrow the next day. Every time I saw a home we liked, we messaged Jake and he would set up a same-day walk through, did virtual tours for us, everything! He went above and beyond the entire time. Always responsive. He was great at negotiations with the selling agents. Their office is beautiful, and the entire team is like Jake - professional, kind, and on top of their game. I moved from Southern CA to East TN blindly! Other than scrolling through Zillow and looking on google maps, I had no knowledge of Knoxville. As a first time homebuyer, Jake made this process almost too easy. Jake facetimed, showed me homes, negotiated, submitted offers, and showed me more homes. He went above and beyond. He always responded to my texts or calls. Professional and friendly through and through. I know who I will be referring to all my friends when they want a home in East TN. Jake, you the man!

If I could give this team an extra star, I would. I moved to Knoxville from out-of-state without the ability to house hunt in person. I'll begin by noting that buying/selling a house is one of those things where you hire someone to do something you either don't have time to do or the legal acumen to put together the details and contracts to keep you safe. As someone who daily contracts work to others professionally, my outlook is that the person being hired should at a minimum offer to do everything from start to finish and the expectation of that doesn’t seem too outlandish in my opinion. When the person contracted goes over and above that expectation, they rise to a higher level of service providers that is unfortunately sparsely witnessed in today’s professional world. Saying all of that, Nic and The Nicaud Team far surpassed my basic expectations from Day 1 through full completion of the deal. This level of service was further confirmed as we had a different realtor in a different town to compare/contrast the service. From the early meetings where Nic paid full attention to us. From the first discussion he wanted to know every need and want we could think of, then provided a full translation of those items to make sure expectations were understood. In today’s crazy real estate market, Nic was able to layout multiple scenarios for selling without any understood bias, so we never felt misinformed of our options. His full management of the deal, while also being completely transparent with us regarding discussions with the buyer’s agent through the “tying of the bow” at the end, provided a quick and seamless experience during a time where the customer is typically stressed to the limit and needs someone to take the reins. This experience has not only changed my feelings on real estate agents and set the bar high for the next deal (hopefully not any time soon!), but there will not be any other reason my family will look past The Nicaud Team and Keller Williams Realty. Nic and his team’s method of customer service is what I remember on how things were in the past and it is no doubt centered on treating people the way they should be treated. The market is crazy right now so I’m glad they were able to point us in the right direction.
