The Heritage Bank S Main St, Hinesville

Have been with the bank for 12 years, worked for them for 2 years. Recently had a check placed on hold (payroll check) I have worked for the company since 2014… you can see a deposit biweekly from the company… we were cut manual checks. They wouldn’t make any available. Left it on hold for a week now. I had twice as much in my account as the check. Ill be swapping banks!

Drive thru was absolutely terrible on my visit 10/21/2021. Usually I just drop my checks and all off in the drop box on the main building. However I just decided randomly to go through the drive thru to deposit 2 checks. Worst mistake ever. As I was questioned for everything I was worth by a male with glasses! I have been employed with this same business and have received checks for 1 1/2 years and they get deposited with no problems. After sitting for 35 minutes straight I asked for my checks back and put everything in the drop box. Checks went through before they closed. If you can please don't go through the drive thru as the staff on that end honestly have no clue as to what they're doing and they have a little bit of authority so you know they're gonna act like their someone. Honestly just a huge waste of time.

Been banking here 20 years, but now looking to make a change. Elderly mother recently experienced a debilitating health issue necessitating temporary ability to take care of her bills. Sister had a sealed, original Power of Attorney that specifically included monetary considerations but was not allowed to add her name to my mother's account.

Unprofessional, stuck in the 90's, lack of communication between each department and it's a compete waste of time to try to call to inquire about your accounts. They will place you on hold for at least 5-10 minutes then you'll most likely get hung up on.

Absolute worst bank in Hinesville. This bank basically let a company steal $600 after they were notified that charges were fraudulent. Then called me a liar saying they mailed me and called me to file a dispute when their rep that called me clearly said the money was returned to me. Absolutely unprofessional and the worst fraud protection ever. If you want to keep your hard earned money, go to another bank. This bank is to NOT be trusted!

Irresponsible leadership at this bank. Deposited a check I have cashed with them multiple times and they put the check on hold for 5 business days. Completely unprofessional, at the very least, you should clearly and obviously notify the customer before accepting the check if you are going to put their check or funds on hold!! Don't bank with them if you can avoid it.

20 years I've been a customer. never had the issues I have at this bank with any other bank. technical issues, rude customer service. I can not and will not recommend this bank. I permanently closed my account today and so glad to be done week this bank. seriously! sadly I I'm friends with an officer in this bank. she was the only way things got taken care of. there are much better choices in small town banks in the area. I recommend the Glennville Bank

They closed the branch in my city. VERY inconvenient. Then they closed the branch in the city next to me! I have been a customer for 30 years, but now I have to start the process of changing all my direct deposits over to a bank in my city.I was totally abandoned, CUSTOMERS ARE NOT NUMBER ONE!

I don't like that the Midway location was closed. But they are always friendly and nice in Hinesville. Fast at the drive through as well.

Don't care for the new app. Wish they would've stayed with the old one. Can't download on my phone. Customer service is courteous.
