Stewart Realty W General Screven Way, Hinesville

Rented through Stewart Realty for 5 years. Started out rough, but improved over the years. I wasn't a fan of having to fight to get repairs done on the house I was renting, but that falls more on the owner of the house than the property manager typically. They did fight for us after being in the house for over 4 years to allow us to get a dog, which was great. The move out process was simple so long as you follow their checklist. Make sure you get the carpets done professionally and you're good to go, simple as that.

This company far exceeded expectations. My wife and I looked at a house to rent. It needed a little bit of work as expected but we loved it. Then we applied and waited a week to get all info and things gathered up to move in. Went to the house to do walk through and was pleasantly surprised to see house was thoroughly cleaned, freshly painted, all new light and fan fixtures, and has been very patient and flexible with everything. The paint crew, maintenance tech, and the staff at the office have been so helpful and polite. Thank you so much!!!

I loved this Real Estate Company!!!! We traveled all the way from California to Ga. I was Stationed here many years ago and loved the hometown feel, I read up on this Real Estate Office(Stewart Realty) and yes as others they had great reviews and some so-so reviews. The Front office were so pleasant to work with, not only did they prepare a list of a couple properties for me before i came, they were ready to show and move in ready (High Five) I was literally here one day and in my property the very next day with out any problem. I will say to remember These are rental properties, But I absolutely have no problem with this company at all very professional

Had to find a house quick before my report date and they helped me not only find a house but they made the process so much easier. I looked at this house yesterday and I'm getting the keys today. They really did work with me and my wife. I will forever recommend this realtor.

Not sure what all the complaints are about I had a wonderful stay with them the 6 yrs I've rented through them! The staff aren't perfect but they do their best to accommodate you at all of your needs. Only minor issues with my 6 yrs I was with them but that is a expected.. I love to see all reviews but come on they aren't as bad as some of these others around here, I received majority of my deposit back I had a few things I as responsible for , and I paid for my damages. GREAT company I say..

Update- They responded to my review that they will refund me if I "clean" when they know I will deployed before they open back up. Don't let these people take advantage of you. Rent from someone else. Do not rent from these people. The air conditioner broke around 5 times while I lived there. They left me with out air for weeks at high 90 degree temperatures. Took weeks for them to fix a pipe burst. House was a mess when I moved in, with horribly painted walls and dirt and grim all over. They took advantage of my short deployment window and charged me for anything they could. They waited until the end of the last business day before I deployed to tell me what I was being charged. Worst realty agency in Hinesville.

Horrible. Do not rent from them or use as property manager. They will not return your phone calls or emails after multiple attempts. I found 5 people interested in renting my home, I gave them all the name and number to our property manager at Stewart Realty, every single one of them said they called MULTIPLE TIMES and not once did they get a call back. I called and gave the receptionist the name and number to someone who was interested and she didn't call or give it to our property manager. One of the families I was talking to via FB finally went to the office in person and then got to look at the home, she sent me pictures after her walkthrough and said the house needed to be cleaned and some minor things fixed. Thank god she went and did that for me because Betsy, our property manager, kept telling us the house was cleaned and ready to go. I'd hate to see what mess she lives in if that was her definition of clean. If your tenant leaves and does not pay your last months rent don't expect to get it back, apparently they "don't know" how to file at the local courts ( which is what I was told by Betsy our property manager). She also will NOT answer your questions when confronting her about problems, she will consistently beat around the bush because she knows she's in the wrong but cant admit it. They will not let you know of issues with house until the tenant refuses to pay rent until its fixed, they will just go ahead and buy new appliances without telling you, the don't update the online portal with receipts and payment amounts unless you ask. They definitely need new management and serious help!! Unless you enjoy being deceived and stressed out about things DO NOT use this company!

Been renting with them for 3+ yrs. They have been a great! When a work order gets put in maintenance has always been quick to come out and fix whatever. I would recommend renting from Stewart Realty to anybody. They really care about their military families that rent through them also.

We are a military family and our experience with Stewart Realty was amazing. They were very understanding and were quick to respond to any concerns we might have had. When my husband received his orders to deploy we decided it would be best for me and our kids to return to our hometown. They returned our deposit and were very understanding when we broke the news of having to break our lease. If given the opportunity, we would do business with them in a heartbeat. I was honestly very shocked when I read through all the horrible views people have left them. Just remember, there are 3 sides to a story- yours, theirs, and the truth.

Been living in one of their willow oak homes for a year. just had to move for work. But this whole year has been a pleasure renting from them. They are the most easy going crew. Move out transition was just as easy as moving in. They are great with communication and flexible. If you communicate with them they will be just as flexible for you. They were always quick with any repairs we needed. The oven and stove went out on each on different occasions and yet we were back up and running same day. This group is highly recommended and easily the best management company I have ever had to use. Thank you all so much for everything you have done for our family this last year!!

I am currently a tenant in a property through Stewart Realty. When I moved in the house it had been vacant and needed some updates with the electric and piping and such. Stewart Realty has made this so smooth for me. They have had people come in and fix everything in a very timely manner. I am so thankful they are making sure everything is good to go. What a relief. On top of that all the companies that I have come in have Come In contact with they had the best customer service I have ever seen.Thank you so much.

I'm highly disappointed with Stewart Realty. We had a property with them for about 12 years, and I wish we had left much sooner. Their communication with owners and amongst themselves is terrible. Sometimes we would have tenants contact us because Stewart was unresponsive to their requests. We recently took control of our property again in hopes of selling it because we were just done with this company. The state that we found our property was deplorable. It was dirty and the yard was in terrible shape. It had multiple piles of branches and yard waste mixed in with trash in the backyard. There were broken parts of the house in addition to damaged appliances that were installed with this last tenant. We only received HALF of the security deposit back. When questioned, they only replied that they tried to be fair, but she wasn't aware there was that much damage. Basically she said we were out of luck and that's what they charged the people. I'm so very disappointed in their customer service and easy dismissal of any and all concerns. I would NOT recommend them.

I have been away from Fort Stewart for 4 years and this company has taking great care of my home and insuring i had responsible tenants in the home that would not damage my property. when things need to be repaired they were on top of the situation and gave me great feedback and confirmation when the job was complete. When i came down to check on my property i found no deficiencies on what was done or had to be done. when i purchase my next house i will intrust this company again and refer them to my friends. Thank you for your attention to detail.

Rented through them for a year and had a wonderful experience. The only reason we moved was because the home owners weren't willing to fix the A/C, only wanted to put a bandaid on it which broke monthly. BUT, Stewart Realty was very quick to get a worker out there to fix the A/C every time it went out. Only thing we weren't impressed with was the house was not cleaned prior to move in, but we were on a short time frame so I'm wondering if that's because we needed in asap. We took care of the home and when we moved out, they thanked us for doing so, and we received our full deposit back. Would definitely rent through them again! Also, love Katherine at the front desk! Wonderful and positive first face and person to speak with! Remembered us and made us feel like friends!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. This is the worse company I've ever rented from. They never want to fix anything but be ready to try and evict you if you don't pay your rent. I still have a work order out there from August for the garage and they still haven't came and fixed it. Their online portal blocked me for not paying my rent and for the last year and a half that's the only way I've ever paid my rent. I called only for them to tell me it's no way to unblock it. I have to wait 6 months. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not rent from this company. They need to be put out of business.

Stewart Realty has poor customer service, rarely responds to emails or returns calls. Poor communication between employees. Poor follow through with repairs and maintenance. Does not honor their own contract. Our tenant was provided a 60 day eviction notice, when tenant failed to pay rent on time, upon that 60th day, tenant refused to move out. Stewart Realty refused to file paperwork with court to have tenant removed. When tenant did finally move out over 2 months later (only due to PCS orders) Stewart Realty was notified that I would be flying in for move out inspection. Attempted to contact Stewart Realty on a Monday, 3 days prior to move out (Thursday) to ensure time and date did not change. Nobody returned my call nor bothered to send email. When I arrived at their office that Wednesday, I was informed the move out was performed the day prior. When I performed my own home inspection, the water and electricity was turned off. Nobody check my sprinkler system during move out, which I later found required repair. Tenant installed camera to the exterior of our home and replace heating/cooling control panel without permission. Stewart Realty even stated themselves that tenant refused to complete cleaning of home during move out. I requested upon move out that Stewart Realty have camera removed, tenant charged for control panel, and home clean. Stewart Realty ignored all of these requests.

I am a property owner that just got stationed back here at Fort Stewart. While I was deployed, Stewart Realty managed my property for the 2 years that I was gone. They kept me informed always! With proper notice I moved right back in and they made sure my property was just the way I left it!!! People have to remember that it is not Stewart realty who messes up your houses, but tenant who can sometimes mistreat it! Stewart Realty is fair and reasonable and I would have them manage my property in a heart beat!!!

I just spoke to the inspector of their properties. I didn't catch her name but she was rude, unprofessional and not helpful at all. The company main goal is to inconvenience their tenants. I would not recommend this company to a dog and that's putting it mildly.
