Got a loan through equitable finance to buy a car. Ridiculous rates but understandable to a certain degree when bad credit is involved. They would call a week BEFORE the payment was due to harass my husband to make the payment. This happened several months in a row when my husband finally snapped at the guy who wouldn’t stop calling. Mind you, we NEVER missed a payment, NEVER had a late payment. Not. One. Time. Just paid the car off in June. It’s almost September and we still have not received the title. My husband has called several times, half of the time, nobody even answers. When they did answer, they said title will be in the mail. Called back a couple weeks later because there is still no title, and the lady checks in the back and finds it still in its file. Unreliable. So once again, “the title will be sent out”...we’ll see. They should be on top of this stuff. A title to a vehicle is not something to mess around with. I made the payments on time so I expect the same in return!
