The Closing Team managed my closing. They never paid the surveyor. As a result, they have delayed work on my property because the survey company will not release the electronic drawings. The closing was well over a month ago. This is sloppy in my opinion. I would not use them again.

I will start off buy saying in my career, I have bought and sold over 20 properties, so I am quite familiar in dealing with escrows, and I realize mistakes can be made. I learned that the person who prepared my initial settlement statement, had been fired. There were numerous errors on it, even the selling price was incorrect. The person that took over my file was Rachel Cizenski. I had no problem getting proof that I had paid my taxes, my utilities, and my HOA dues, all of which were on my settlement statement to be deducted. When I called her to go over the other listed deductions, and asked to speak to her instead of emailing back and forth, she got on the phone and said to me, "What's your emergency?" in an annoyed tone. I was taken aback as to the fact that she would speak to me in that way, and proceeded to tell her it was not an emergency, I wanted to go over the deductions, so I understood what I was paying for. She responded to me in that conversation in a hostile manner, and I ended the conversation before it got into an argument. There was another issue that arose that ended up holding up my closing, and I contacted Michelle Richardson to try get it figured out. At that time, I did not mention my exchange with Rachel. When the problem got resolved with the help of my realtor, I was contacted by another person in the company to set up the closing with a mobile notary since I reside in California. Vanessa arranged the closing, and after that asked me to write a review. I told her I'm not sure she wants me to, since I feel I was not treated like a customer should be treated. I explained to her that I thought Rachel from the Closing Team should call me with an apology, or I would write an honest review of my experience. I never heard from anyone.

We just closed a deal and used Florida use Florida title and escrow. Rachel jones helped me and took initiative every step of the way. Whenever I started to stress, i would turn around and the task was done. That's what you call talent! What an amazing experience! Thank you very much.

I will never use the closing team again, there is no personal service and it's impossible to get a hold of anyone, my clients closed on a friday afternoon around 2pm however the title agent never provided confirmation of closing or any of their executed documents until the following week. I had to learn from the lender that my clients were closed because he was funded.

I wasn’t going to post, but I was sent an email requesting my feedback after working with The Closing Team. As the Listing Broker, The Closing Team was selected by the Buyer of my clients co-op. We had 3 major issues: 1) they chased my client for docs believing the closing was a month earlier than the Contracted closing; 2) Unsure who pays certain charges resulted in numerous changes to the HUD after all the fees were wrongly posted to the Sellers side. Ultimately, an Attorney was called upon and the fees were removed from the Seller and paid by the Buyer; 3) the Seller was presented, at closing, a HUD different than what we approved via email, resulting in a net to Seller $6000 below what it should have been.

Vanessa Decker helped with my loan and she was a pleasure to work with. I am leaving four stars because I feel there's room for improvement on overall communication within the team, but we successfully closed on our home on time and I can't thank them enough for a job well done!
