Additionally, Mr. Whitmire took the initiative to ask me about other lines of service / types of accounts I had and offered information about other available services that I was not aware of. Doing business with Texell Credit union has been the best banking experience I have ever had. This is the first proactive bank and I can't help but praise their work. I bought a truck a year or so ago and upon the loan being sent to Texell they reached out to me to verify some details in the loan application. I hadn't done business with them before this vehicle loan so I expected the call. During the call the representative mentioned some other services they could provide to me. I ended up refinancing an RV That I had purchased a couple of months before and saved thousands in interest. When I recently reached out about a preapproval for a new RV purchase the process was quick. I have since opened a few other accounts here and eventually they will have all of my banking business. I've been a member here for years. Unfortunately, something seems to have changed over the last few years and service has gone downhill. The current issue is that I cannot get a hold of a loan officer for an auto loan. I'm already pre-approved but for the last 3 business days I haven't been able to get a hold of someone to answer a few simple questions. It doesn't matter what number you call, it goes to a voicemail box. I just can't recommend Texell to anyone, it'll be a hassle when you need to do anything outside of basic banking. I do feel bad posting this as everyone I've ever worked with at Texell has always been extremely friendly and helpful. It kind of feels like they're so understaffed making what should only take a day or two to complete take several days or even a week.

Adela Hauck, Financial Service Specialist, was a joy to work with - polite, friendly and professional. She efficiently handled my inquiries and even told me about a feature that no one else had mentioned - this led to an excellent experience.

My wife and I went into the 31st street branch to get an account set and Kallie was so helpful, kind, informative and funny. Made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We will be back for more business. Went to put money in my account all cash besides 20 dollars in quarters. They told me no we don't accept change I would half to use the coin machine which in turns charges money to use it. They said cause I had it in roll form. I offered to take it out of the rolls and still got denied. Crazy a bank to lazy to count quarters turned away money.
