Mitch Middleton was very informative while going through documents I was required to sign as well as making sure I was comfortable. Even though it was my first time ever setting up an account he somehow made me feel like I knew what I was doing. He also made sure to explain each of the steps to make the account and double checked that I could log into my mobile banking with the information I was given. Would highly recommend.

Came here to open a checking account and ended up leaving with a checking and savings account thanks to Mitch. The experience was fine, the staff was friendly, there just didn’t seem to be enough of them as at times lines were forming. The lobby was a hard place to do business. The acoustics are terrible and sound doesn’t flow well. Normal conversation is hard to hear so everything that you say has to be louder , the splash screens do not help, so opening an account you seem to be telling everyone your private information several times over…..while standing! Which did not make for a comfortable and pleasant business transaction. I fear all banks are getting away from customer service and I just started to look for one to make me feel important enough to handle my business. I have had accounts here at Extraco in the past and always said I would come back for my personal accounts if I grew tired of Bank of American, which is what is happening now. So I'm hopeful personal service will improve. They still have a drive through, which BOA closed claiming increased banking fraud. All in all, for banking, location and staff, I believe that Extraco bank in Temple, Tx would be hard to beat.

Great service from Madison. Awful time trying to see anyone to get account updated. I came back to extraco after several years and the changes are awful. Hold times to talk to anyone are long and you can't even get help at the branch without making an appointment days in advance. I needed help when I need help. Not on your schedule. Forget doing anything more complicated than giving them your money. Forget trying to conduct business if you are hard of hearing. The lobby is loud and the music is louder! Be prepared to write down what you need!
