For a shop with such a large selection of firearms, their staff know very little about the guns on their shelves. No wonder I still see the same firearms for sale that I saw here over 6 months ago; they are all OVERPRICED. They also low ball when buying firearms. To the point of INSULT. I tried to pawn a brand new Taurus revolver which is going for $400 retail. The kid behind the counter with the neck beard offered me $120 and tried to say "These things are going for as little as $280". Yeah... I saw the website where he got that number and that is actually only the STARTING BID on that site. It was funny too because when I immediately laughed at his offer and headed straight for the door he nervously began to justify his price to try to get me to come back. When I opened the door and stepped outside he was STILL trying to get me to come back. I went next door to First Cash and they gave me $200 without so much as a hesitation. Oh yeah, and while I was in here I heard their manager talking about an autographed football which is for sale. When another employee asked who had signed the ball the manager replied "I have no idea whose signatures these are, but I'll still sell it for four hundred dollars". Stay away from this place.

Used to be great and friendly service, new management, save yourself some time and gas don't drive here.

I find Texas Pawn and Jewelry to be a heart warming environment. From the point you fist walk in the door, where they greet you by your name, to the the prices they offer you for your loans to the prices they offer you on their merchandise. I have not only used there services to buy merchandise but also to pawn some of my most expensive relics. If for some reason I could not make the payment by the due date. A simple phone call is all it takes and they are more then happy to work with you. One off the things that they do for the customers that i just love, is when they send me a text reminding me of the date and amount I will be due for. Sometimes I get to busy with life husband and kids that if I would not get that text I probably would have lost my iteams. Ii have been going to them for years and I know that I would not take my business anywhere else. You will love everyone. their staff is amazing. From the Owner, Managers and to there clerks. Always willing to help you with a smile. Very professional. Oh and don’t forget to try their layaway. It only takes 10% of the final price of the merchandise you fell in love. Plus Christmas is just right around the corner.

Love this place. I go to both pawn shops (top cash is next door) frequently and I much prefer this place. Everyone is super nice, take the time to talk to you and help you figure out what you want and just overall pretty awesome people. Not pushy with sales. And are really reasonable with haggling. My favorite pawn shop. They also have a good selection of firearms and tools.

Love this store and Jonathan, when he was at this location. He really does care and tries hard to help you out in hard situations. They have a great selection of merchandise. However, once Jonathan left the new manager Ryan just let it go to his head that he is a manager!!!! He is rudse and is more worried about letting you know he is a manager than actually helping or treating you like a customer. I was a long time customer but, I would never go back after my experience with him. Edit****6/7/19. I went back today and had excellent service!! The gentlemen greeted me and very nice to me. I am so glad I went back and will keep on going. Thank you for your great customer service and sale.

This is my go to pawn shop and gun store! First off, their FFL transfer fee is the lowest around and a super smooth process. They called me within an hour of my lower receivers being delivered. Their selection of guns is quite impressive (for a pawn shop) and despite another review, they are brand new and competitively priced. I have purchased many items from this store and never had an issue with a single one. My son and I frequent this place often and feel like family every time we come. Excellent service and a fun place to go. Plus it's 3 min from home.

EDIT- In response to businesses response. Walked into Georgetown Academy within a couple days to verify. In stock and priced at $300.| Bought a G3x. Specifically asked how their pricing compares. Was told on par with Academy yet come to find Academy is $30 cheaper. Upon further inspection of the firearm post purchase, found excessive wear and debris in gun like it had been used and put away wet. Guess that's what I get for buying a gun less than a month after release.

I love this place! The team is super helpful and super attentative to customer questions. They have a good selection of quality products and even my kid loves to come over and browse. Personally I've gotten a whole lot better experience here than many other armories in the area. Definetely one of the best businesses in Hutto, very glad they are here.

I bought a PS4 from here. When I got home and plugged everything in, some of the buttons on the controller did not work. I called the next day to see if I could swap it for the other they just got in. It was a quick no and the only thing I could do was trade in the system for store credit.

I hit some hard times and was seeking a pawn shop that would give me fair/reasonable prices for some items that I wanted to get loans on, but reclaim once things turned-around for me. I'm sooo glad that I found these guys. They're absolutely fair on values/pricing and easy to work with, and don't try to put you in a position so they can low-ball you and use process to take your stuff for their profit; definitely customer focused. These folks have earned my respect and business going forward!
