I’ve been going to TC’s for several years. I can honestly say I have always been treated with the utmost respect whenever I walk in there. Whether I’m buying, selling or pawning their prices and policies are always fair. They are honest and straight forward from the beginning. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer understands the process. Chris and Jose are always super helpful. And to top it all off the owner and his staff maintain a positive presence by being active in the community. It’s nice to see a business that actually cares about the people it serves.

This place is very great , good customer service , I recently brought an engagement ring here , there was a young lady with glasses who help me pick the ring , she was great , they gave me a great deal , I had to get the ring resized tho , now usually it takes 1-2 weeks for this process , a gentleman name hosea was able to convince the owner to have it done in a day for me witch was great , I had the ring in time to propose how I wanted to . I appreciate you guys thank you again.

Terrible customer service ! I walked in trying to sell a high end Taylor guitar to a “register worker” that gave me a low offer. When I asked why so low for the value , he indicated that there was a VERY small hairline crack in the neck that I was completely unaware of . I apologized for not seeing this earlier, and before handing the guitar back to me , he jams a thick paper business card into the crack !! I was mortified by this .. can’t believe the blatant disregard for potential customers . Any real pawn worker would know the level of care that these type of items should receive .

Honestly the most reliable Pawn shop in town, Jose to be precise, is the Employee that created a great professional experience! Easy 5 Star service!

The people working here are so knowledgeable of their inventory. I’ve been busy so it’s taken me some time to actually sit down and write a review of this place, but I’m giving it a full five stars because of the 2 gentlemen by the name of Jose and Ky who helped my boyfriend and me pick out a D.S lite, a few video games, an electric guitar and an amp. I was having difficulty with the video game I purchased and Jose advised me to wipe the disc down with glass cleaner (who knew? Jose did) and it worked! Ky helped me set the amplifier up so I could tune my guitar. They both are knowledgeable young men (I’m hoping I’m remembering names correctly) who TC’s should be proud to have working there. The inventory itself, so much to chose from with great, reasonable prices. I look forward to coming back!

Jay Sargent is phenomenal with customer service. I’ve been doing business with them for years and recently I had a 55” inch Roku tv pawned and when I picked it and brought it home it wasn’t working properly. Could’ve been damaged in transport but jay replaced it with a brand new one. I was so grateful because I couldn’t afford to purchase another and I wanted to have it for the holidays. Another good encounter was at the east main location Jake hooked me with an extra few bucks than what I would normally get because he knew I had to finish my grocery shopping for thanksgiving. I totally recommend Tcs over any prawn shop in the world. Really down to earth employees. Jake, Sarah and all the employees at both locations in Waterbury are very knowledgeable and great at what they do. Great environment and great service.

I recently was gifted a Cricut and I was not aware that it was not compatible with my Chromebook :( called TC's to see what was available) I went in the next day and Jose listened to what I needed, he went online and researched the Cricut requirements to be sure I got what I NEEDED ( Above and Beyond!!!). I ended up with a laptop ( way beyond my expectations) with great customer service...price was definitely worth the trip...got what I came for!!!

These guys have the best customer service in Connecticut , the entire staff is super friendly, they worked hard on making sure that I got what I wanted, that I felt comfortable and it was just a great experience full of laughs, Jay, Jose, Joe , the rest of guys are awesome! Definitely recommend
