My employer is switching providers too, and for good reason. I submitted a request for reimbursement well within the deadlines established prior to the new provider taking over the contract, as instructed. TASC declined the claim. When I called to inquire why, I was told all my documentation was in order and submitted timely, but was denied because it was too close to funds being transferred over to new provider taking over. That is ridiculous. It seems they didn't want to worry about people that will have their accounts transferred away soon anyway. How professional is that, TASC? TASC service is horrible. Slow on reimbursements too.

Terrible company that doesn’t know their up from their down. My employer is switching providers and for good reason. I had updated my address in the app and got a message that state it was updated successfully. I then requested my MyCash balance be paid out. They sent it to my old address, weeks after the event I finally get an email saying the check was sent back to them. I proceeded to call and have them send the check to my new address, which they had to update yet again in their system. The check I received was for the amount I was informed and still had my old address listed though the envelope it came in was for my new address. I proceeded to deposit said check, a week after the deposit TASC proceeded to top payment causing my bank to charge me for a bad check. I called up TASC and they are not taking responsibility for their incompetence nor are they covering the charge caused by them. Due to their complete lack of organization, communication, and in ability to actually do what they say they will do while following their own protocols. They blamed the error on that I had requested the check to be canceled when I had actually requested the check be mailed to the correct address. -10 I hope no one uses their service and that any company currently with them leaves cause this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company.

Speaking as a former employee, this place is a mess. The company touts its position as a "Good corporate citizen" and supporter of the Madison community. While, at the same time, grossly underpaying its non-professional level employees; pressuring them to do volunteer work under the TASC banner, and treating them as expendable. One supervisor candidly told me that TASC customer service members have a "shelf life", implying that they have a high turnover due to the high-stress, low paying position. At one point, I was recognized for being the overall top customer service performer for the quarter. The prize for that achievement was recognition during a video quarterly meeting, and "TASC Bucks". I can't recall the amount of TASC Bucks, but it was enough to cover PART of the cost of a sweatshirt from the company store. I don't know whether the company culture has changed in the past few years. But, my advice is to first do your research if you plan to apply there.

Awful company to work with. The bottom line is they do not care. They started adding all these one time fees for extra work they have done when we didn't even need whatever extra work they performed. They themselves do not even know what the fees were for because we received 3 different reasons for the up charge by 3 different people we talked to over the phone, which shows they have no idea what they are even talking about. We were so unhappy with their service that we decided to switch companies. The person at TASC we talked with worked with us to not have to pay cancellation fees, then come the time when we switched, they changed their mind. One of the worst decisions owning our business for 3 years was working with TASC. Unfortunately it was our health insurance agent that suggested to use them who we also no longer use. Definitely stay away.

Brutal experience trying to opt into COBRA insurance with this third party administrator. The website doesn’t allow me to log in. Have called into their customer service area multiple times for help and now am being told their website isn’t even working. No mobile site was the first indicator this wasn’t going to go well. Call center clearly is outsourced with reps who can’t really help. Their solution: “Wait another hour, then try again.” Really frustrating waste of time and still no resolution to what should be a simple process.

Tried to setup an ICHRA for my employees with TASC. The staff that I worked with didn't have an understanding of what was going on, and months later I still do not have a functioning ICHRA. I was hung up on by customer service when trying to sort it out - I think my tone was too firm and they didn't want to deal with me. Don't waste your time.

I think this company might have the absolute worst customer service model ever. You call in to speak to a representative about an issue you are having and are told you need to submit a customer support request through the website. You do that, but never receive a response so then you call in to speak with someone and they tell you to submit another support request. This goes on and on. I even asked to speak to a supervisor and was told I should send in a support request. I would not recommend this company. Communication is severely lacking with them.

This TASC customer service, waiting on the phone to talk to a live person…seems to be an error with the customer service departmental structuring in the company. There was a female who previously had for the most part professionally helped me with my account, but after that assistance I had to wait on hold for more than half the time that this automated voice message system had initially timed me from. An example is that I was told that my wait time was less than 106 minutes “...one hundred and six minutes...”, and I waited for almost 2 hours (160 minutes/one hundred and sixty minutes…). I waited the extra time to see if this department or company really exists. If anybody is able to report these people and their company in a sensible manner to a government department that rectifies these types of issues in order to get them documented, structurally repaired, etc. before they end up doing more erroneous damage that may be a start of possibly rectifying the issues in the long run.

If you are a business, looking for a company to handle administration of your FLEX account, consider yourself warned, DO NOT contract with this company. Unless you enjoy dealing with your employees' frustrations and complaints about how difficult it is to use this benefit. And shouldn't a benefit you pay someone to provide for your employees be just that? Well I can tell you there is no benefit dealing with this company, it has been nothing but a burden. As I write this, I've been placed on hold, most likely indefinitely by Germaine, a supervisor, who has informed me that the charge of $1300.00 they debited from our account in error over 6 months ago would not be refunded until I paid our quarterly statement I received in the mail the day before. He also refused to transfer or provide the contact information of anyone who had authority to refund our money prior to paying our quarterly invoice. At a minimum, their practice is highly unethical, although the methods and deceit they have employed to hang on to our funds could easily be argued as fraudulent. If you are an employer, stay away from this company.

Worst company! I wish I could give a zero star. Contribution errors were on going. Missing $ and they would blame system updates. Call to discuss the discrepancy of missing money in my account. The representative sent a request to have it updated and they took out MORE money. It is bizarro world. We are leaving this company 100%. RUN!!!! This is the first negative review I have ever written

Terrible business practices and customer service. My company opted to use TASC for management of HSA accounts, and we switched to another provider after just one year due to the volume of complaints from employees. I have been trying for weeks to rollover my existing account balance to a legitimate provider and have spent hours on hold - simply trying to obtain an account statement (a document that most other providers would let you just print directly from their website)! When I finally connect to a customer service rep, they either lack the knowledge to help or are not authorized to help. Not sure how I will get my money out of this account, but I'll keep trying. Highly recommend you avoid doing business with TASC. Don't subject your employees to this.

Exceptionally long wait times when you have an FSA account issue. I have waited at least 45 minutes each time to speak with their overseas call center reps , only to be placed on hold by the rep several times for an additional 10 minutes or more each time while they contact a support person regarding my issue. I did a return of a covered medical item Dec.14th and have still not have had the funds credited back to my TASC card as of today's date ( January 21,2021) I am on the phone as we speak waiting for the 3rd time with their customer service rep to see where my refund is. total wait time is now 35 minutes plus listening to music and waiting for an actual response. The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I will be checking with my HR soon to see when I can opt out of this program. I have not had previous issues using my TASC but this particular incident has really caused me to re evaluate using Tasc going forward.

It feels like they purposely try to keep your money! No matter what I submit, my reimbursement requests get denied. The only way to get reimbursement is to call them and every single time they give you different instructions, and I have to talk to multiple people and wait on hold sometimes for up to an hour just to get MY money. All of the documents I’ve submitted have the required legal information. I feel that this company’s business practices are criminal. If your company uses TASC for HSA or FSA, seriously consider if it’s worth the headaches and possibly losing your hard earned income. I’ve read about people who run up against their reimbursement deadline and lose all their money because of how terrible TASC is. Run!!!!!!!

Response time to get various issues resolved typically takes being on hold for 60+ minutes just to speak to a representative. When submitting support tickets for issues, it takes weeks to get resolution, if any resolution is received. If your business is thinking of changing over to TASC, I would encourage them not to as they are not service focused for the employee end user. Be prepared for not having your funds available when you need them.

I had spent over a month trying to get them to refund money they took from me. They kept charging me every month but they didn’t cover anything which left me uninsured for months. They had told me they would reimburse me because I had simply been knocked out of the system. This happened two times and I was never covered again. I struggled to cancel the payments even with the customer service lady taking me step by step. She helped me put in a request to cancel but it never cancelled. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

First they repeatedly messed up my contribution and took literally three months to get right, now my employer moved our services elsewhere and it’s been a month and they still haven’t transferred my money. A MONTH. They have zero regard for their clients and are basically impossible to reach. They’re holding my HSA money hostage as well. UPDATE: they still won’t transfer my HSA funds! They keep making excuses about losing electricity?? I’ve been waiting two months and they say it will take three more weeks!

Cancelled their service and continue getting bills two years later. Not sure what service they think they are providing as they don't have access to our information to create ERISA reports. No one will respond to multiple attempts of contact.

We inherited a client who was already using TASC and it has been a nightmare dealing with them at every turn, and just wait until you try to leave TASC's services they will ignore your term request and even after they do accept they will randomly charge your bank account. Good Luck to you if you decide to do business with them. When I called them today about taking nearly $500 from my client MONTHS after termination, they hung up on me!

I agree with all the comments made on this thread. Have experienced it all myself. They have simply ignored my reimbursement requests, my calls, and my email inquiries. They are literally holding my funds hostage. How can a company get away with this illegal activity? What can we do to file a claim against them? If anyone has any ideas, I would enthusiastically join the effort to file a class action suit against them.

I am on week 3 of a simple distribution/transfer of assets request as I no longer work for the employer who uses this HSA provider. When nothing happened after the first week of form submission, I submitted a second request. 3 days later, I was told they could not process a distribution. When I called to inquire why, they told me they made a mistake, my form was in good order, and it was in process. Today when I called in, they indicated it would be another 20 days for approval. I am in the process of reporting these timelines to the Department of Labor.

Employers, look elsewhere for the sake of your employees. I’ve had such a hard time working with them between account activation and accessing my HSA funds. Their systems are terrible and far to difficult to use. My company’s PEO switched to another provider, which I’m glad about, but now they’re giving me a hassle transferring funds and initially gave the PEO the wrong form which I only learned after realizing the transfer never went through.

5 times they've issued my card. I have never received it. They have no explanation or alternatives. Over 6 months I have not been able to spend the lump sum for health care expenses. They informed me I can submit a manual claim for reimbursement, but based off my experience and the reviews of others I have no faith I will actually see my reimbursement.

They rely heavily on scripted messages back to customers that do not give you enough information to understand what's needed within the submission. Seems like they just have groups of staff that click and if there is a super easy answer they do actual work, otherwise they just push requests around, close requests, click the buttons to send the scripted emails. It's a joke - you have to get on the phone and even then the information you get is inconsistent. Wish my employer didn't use them. There has to be a better company out there.

A family member got a mailing stating that they were enrolled in a TASC elected benefit account. We did not request to enroll in TASC. Their phone number does not allow you to get in touch with anyone and it’s just a circle of automated menus. There is no way to actually speak with anyone. We did not order this and have no way of figuring out why we got this mailing and why it claims we are enrolled in their system. There is nowhere to leave a voicemail with inquiries either. I also see where the Better Business Bureau shows them as a one out of five star rating as well so obviously I am not the only one who feels this company is doing an extremely poor job!

Pay your first payment by mail. The online system is antiquated and takes forever. They are slow and just give the runaround. Good luck. Your going to need it.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have submitted 2 claims for the same amount for 2 different kids and they keep declining it. They outsource all their work to India and the customer service reps have no clue. Awful.

Zero stars..I'm a broker and when we took over the existing lines of coverage for one of our groups Tasc was already in place, we had never worked with them before. The group wanted to keep tasc due to timing for the first year then transitioning away at renewal. We submitted to tasc a termination notice, such as we would give to any vendor (i.e. Aetna, UHC BCBS, SunLife, Allstate Etc. Etc.) a letter terminating services, on group letterhead signed by group admin....LOL not good enough for TASC. I as a broker have never dealt with a more frustrating vendor in my years of experience. There is not enough space here to list all of the trials and tribulations of attempting to recoup my groups money....but I can tell you that at this point we now have to engage the groups attorney to put this to bed...Nightmare, it's no wonder they have such low google review numbers.

TASC deserves zero stars. They just can't seem to get their stuff right. They shorted me $57 bucks. I have contacted them multiple times (4+ times now - detailing where they made their mistake) and they fail to fix the issue. When I called in, the customer service person had such a hard time finding what I've contacted them for in the past even when I had their reference numbers. I see so many of their mistakes on my transaction history and their attempted corrections on it. Overall, they stole $57 from me. It is not worth it fighting for that amount, but I cannot stand how they can't record transactions right. If they are messing up with my account (mostly just deposits), I know they have to be messing up with a LOT of other people's accounts that don't tie things out like me. I've been trying to get my account transferred to a new HSA and did the paperwork in early January and they still haven't gotten around to it yet (it's currently 1/31/21). This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. RUN FROM THEM IF YOU CAN. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! WASTED SO MUCH TIME TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO THEM THEIR MISTAKES.

Loved this job! Everyone works together as a team to get the job done!! I am hoping to go back and become a permanent employee one day, since I was only a seasonal! I was so sad to leave this company! Everyone works very hard to get the job done successfully!! My last day was March 31st and I miss it already. I will be looking for the next opening to reapply at TASC which is really an awesome company to work for!!!

If I could give Zero Stars I would. Started paying them in October 2020, went to use my benefits May 11th 2021 and they didn't have me approved. It's June 11th 2021 and still not approved. Over 6 hours on the phone and 8+ supervisors. They say no one above them will call me because the higher up don't care about these kinda things. This company needs to be shut down because its fraud. I guess sitting on hold now for 55 minutes is a great time to leave a fair review. Non-responsive internal sales reps, hold times average 60 + minutes, all service related requests are automated losing that human touch most compliance vendors offers. I was able to reach customer service after 75 minutes and they were super helpful. It's hard to be upset at customer service when they're poorly staff. Management gets 1 star, but customer service was helpful so I gave them 3.

I work in HR and have nothing but headaches with this company, from being scolded by their reps, to having our contract changed without our consent or knowledge to fighting the company for correct reports after cancelation, I've wasted the better part of 9 months working on their mistakes. Tickets get ignored, representatives are poorly trained and unable to help you, You wait on hold no less than 50 minutes just to talk to someone who puts you on hold all of the time, their reps cannot explain policies, I've been told different policies by different people regarding the same issues, one rep makes promises the other says that person was nuts. It's a disaster. This company is a dumpster fire.

I've been on hold for 50 minutes already and still waiting. Can't log in as they want me to change my user name and password, which I did, but then it says Time Expired. They keep freezing my card for documentation that I already send in. Won't let me spend my own money. Everyone I speak with says the same thing. I've only had 1 customer service rep who was willing to help me over the 4 years I've been using TASC. I told them that the State would eventually drop them over their poor service and FINALLY the State did. ALL I want is my money out of this company. Not to mention I will submit a claim but its not good enough so they will deduct money out of my paycheck so basically Ive now double paid and I don't get my reimbursement back.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY - DO NOT sign up for this service. They take your money and will not even pay for doctors, hospital,dentist, eye care or emergency room visits. DO NOT sign up for these individuals if I could have given a -0- I would - Terrible customers service, the reps don't tell the truth and constantly say the same thing over and over again. Like you will not remember what they said in the last 10 phone calls. They hold your money hostage for any all all expenses. Worst experience I have ever had with a company not to mention the embarrassment when you go to use the TASC charge card and it is declined when you have more than enough money to cover the bill. Stay on hold hours, when you get to a rep they act like it is your fault that your money is being held hostage by them. Decline, Decline, Decline, Decline is all they do and do not give you back your OWN MONEY. RUN from this company and DO NOT sign up for this service. Hours of wasted time talking to people who do not care and will not help you. Your money gets tied up and LOST so you have to pay the bill again with other funds you have instead of the funds already set aside TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE - This is the worst set up I have every seen.
