By far the best place to buy from. The staff is genuinely friendly, very respectful, and helpful. It's not often I'm blown away by customer service, however, my experience at Sweeney Chevrolet was by far one of the best. Steve Harper was exceptional from the moment we walked in and throughout the entire process. He was patient with all our questions and was very thorough. Definitely left a great lasting impression!

The service was great. Dropped the car off and went shopping with my daughter-in-law. The service department sent me a video of the service which stated everything that was done. The video was a surprise but very nice. Got back to pick up the car and it was all clean. They even washed it. Thanks, Sweeneys. Love the service.

I was able to bring my car right in the garage and it wasn’t that long before they said it was ready. Was able to give me a coupon to help the expense of the bill. Also washed my car! Very pleased with them and would come back again.

Steve did a great job. He was respectful, patient with my young daughter who was with me, honest about my options, and I truly felt he was in it for me and not just a sale. I went in with limited options in mind and went home with a new Acadia, my top choice. Everyone at Boardman Sweeney Buick GMC was professional and caring. It was my first time there and I will definitely be back. I was in and out with a new vehicle in less than 2 hours.

I was traveling from Colorado to Ohio and my check engine light came on. I had no appointment, came in and asked them to look at my car. There were 60+ cars that had an appointment that day and 2 techs called off unexpectedly that day. Cory, in the service department, informed me that it may not get looked at until the following day. That same day less than 3 hours later, my car was ready. Your service department was outstanding and was able to get me back on the road.

we brought our truck in for an oil change and one of the service writers notice there was a safety recall on it. he replaced the necessary parts and got us on our way in no time at all. I worked at a G.M. dealersip for twenty two years. Sweeneys has always impressed me with thier staff. both in sales and service! I always highly recomend them to others whenever possible! dealership does good work. did not fix my truck because g.m. won't allow it. the print out sweeney gave me said it was a problem for many years. if i knew that before i bought it i would have gone to ford or dodge.

Oh man, I don't even know where to start or where to end on how Beautiful the experience was dealing with the folks there at Sweeney GMC. I Purchased this pretty GMC AT4 X in Michigan and I was on my way to the Poconos PA when the vehicle broke down with less than 300 miles in Youngstown Ohio. Sweeney GMC came to the rescue and really went out their way to accommodate me, given this happened on a Saturday and they were working with a small staff. I was able to meet Bobby my service advisor, who was certainly, have to be one of the greatest guys I've ever met. I was in a very stressful situation and he definitely helped me out by ensuring I had a ride to home with and literally reached out to me everyday to give me updates on what was going on with my vehicle. Thanks a million Bobby. Just and absolute pleasure it was to work with him in this crazy situation that I had never encountered in my life. So point is Sweeney was able to resolve the situation and deliver my vehicle back to the Poconos. Big Thanks to all of you folks out there at Sweeney that was able to all come together to get back my vehicle on the road. I'll be forever grateful 🙏🏿..

I was scheduled for an oil change and tire rotation and to check the motor my car is burning oil. The engine was not checked because it wasn't SCHEDULED NOW my engine has quit running and 2 codes have come up on the computer camshaft malfunction but SWEENEY DOESN'T want to look at my engine So I'm forced to take it to a local dealership,(which I don't deal with) to have that dealership FIX my engine I believe this is called "passing the buck" I feel ripped off!!

The told me that my check engine light was on because of a unconnected pipe. They connected the pipe and charged me $150. The next day, my check engine light turned back on

I really appreciated that you guys started up the shuttle service since you didn't have any rentals. The people were friendly and efficient however, there is still an existing problem. One of the items that I brought to Cory's attention was that the remote start was not working. He was very nice and explained that the remote start did not function while the car was displaying the check engine message. He said it would rectify when the check engine would no longer be displayed. The light is off but I still am unable to start the car remotely. I have had to make a second appointment to repair this problem and because I am working am asked to pay a $9.95 service fee to have the car picked up and delivered.

Both my Dad and I came out to Sweeney from Beaver PA to buy a 2019 Silverado 1500. Steve Harper was our salesman. He was a great guy and a truthful and honestly salesman. Will most likely return for any vehicle needs in the future.

I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. When I got in my car after it was done, the leather on the drivers door had oiled fingerprints on it. When I got home I opened the hood to check the oil level and found oil drips on the plastic on top of the motor. I also found dried windshield washer fluid drips on the outside section of the front fender from when they filled the w/w reservoir . My car was EXTREMELY clean inside and out when I brought it in for the above service. My car is almost 1 year old and only has approximately 3300 miles on it. It's been garaged and not driven all winter long. For me to keep my car this clean and then have to clean up after your service tech just isn't a good thing. I don't think I'll be back. Joe Ludwig made this such an easy process from the test drive to the signing of papers and driving off! He was able to give me payment numbers quickly and then we did most of the lease process via text message while I was working and then he had everything ready when I arrived at the dealership. Joe went through the Traverse with me so I understood the features and how to use everything. Rick Layman in finance was also efficient and great to work with, he had everything ready to sign when I was all done with Joe. They made this leasing experience feel personal without spending hours at the dealership. The whole process was quick for being a vehicle purchase all while being thorough and efficient!

Went to Sweeney to find buy a truck for my husband for Christmas behind his back. This is the 2nd time buying a vehicle from Richie! Always such great customer service and getting us into the vehicle we want. Financial guy Dave is always finding us the best rates and getting the job done. Took my 2021 Silverado TrailBoss in for a oil change and tire rotation. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Took my truck right away and I was on my way in a hour. Waiting room very comfortable and free coffee. I have dealt with Sweeney for 6 years now and I have not one complaint.

The entire point of making an appointment is so when you get there they can take your vehicle in and start whatever services are being needed. Not to show up and be told off we are appointment was it this time but it'll be another hour and a half or two hours before we even look at your vehicle. This is unacceptable in a complete lack of respect for customers time. Especially when it is stated to whoever answers the phone when the appointment is being made that you will be waiting with your vehicle.

Edit: it's been a while since my original review so I'm updating my take on Sweeney. I have purchased 3 cars and leased 2 from Sweeney and my experience in the beginning was excellent. As time has gone by, it has fallen off. They are a business first, and that certainly evident. The dealership is in the business of making money and that is item number one. I felt like it was customer service first in the beginning but not now. It's kind of sad how things change. I might have to shop around better next time.

We were able to pick the car we wanted out online and fill out all paperwork online. I spoke with the salesman (Tim Harlan) a few times during the day to figure out if we wanted to buy or lease. And he had everything ready for us, including the car cleaned and ready to go, when we arrived for our appointment. We were able to test drive, sign our papers, and leave the dealership within an hour. This was the best experience with a dealership we’ve had!

Sweeney gave us the best car buying experience they could during the current climate. There was a slight struggle to get us the car we wanted but they finally did. Car drives nice did have a couple issues with the vehicle still is having some issues but they are definitely willing to fix my problems and they do get your vehicle in the shop as fast as they can. Would not recommend I bought a 2015 Chevy Tahoe in July here I am in February a little over 6 months and my transmission blew and they’re being rude and not doing anything for me being that I only had a 6 month warranty Now I have to pay 5300 plus tax for a transmission they never once apologized to me and had my car in service department over 48 hours until they looked at it which charged me 129 plus tax

I went to get my license plates because I purchased a Lease scheduled me for 8 am they could not get the plates until 9 am. Once they got the plates they put the sweeney gm that goes around the plate upside down. Then I purchased lease repair I have a scratch and a dent. they showed me I have paintless dent repair what the hell does that mean. horrible.

It took 2 hours and 37 minutes to change a battery. I had the email from onstar with the bad cell code on it. No one told me it would take over 2 hour to complete until I showed up at the dealership only to find that you do not offer courtesy transportation. Update. Had to go back for an oil change because no one had Dexos D oil. What can be done at Pennzoil in fifteen minutes took over an hour at the dealership. Even with an appointment.

Amazing experience. The individuals that I interacted with were very helpful and engaged, I specifically worked with Cory and Rick. Moved here from Florida a year ago with 2 Equinox diesel SUVs. Sweeney's has been doing the service on both of these vehicles since then. Great service department with competent and friendly stafff. Andrew has been my main contact if I have any questions and he has always been able to answer my questions and has provided guidance into the upkeep of these vehicles. I also want to mention the fantastic coffee machine they have in the waiting lounge. The best I have seen, even beats Merecedes of Orlando. I had a chocolate cafe mocha today, yum! This may seem like a trivial thing, but that machine is the "cherry on top" of an excellent Chevy dealerships service department.

I bought a 2017 Toyota 4runner Limited from Sweeney Dealership and I am extremely happy how everything went smoothly. Jonathan is a wonderful salesperson. He sent me pictures and walk- around videos of the car I was interested. When I requested for a video of the under body of the 4runner to see how it looks underneath explaining to him that since we live in the "rust belt", I would like to see if there's plenty of rust underneath. I never had to wait for long, he had put the 4runner on the rack and sent me a video how it looks like underneath. At that point, I decided this is the vehicle I have waited. After I decided to buy the SUV, Dave Vantell helped and explain to me the financial aspect. He is very helpful especially this is the first SUV I have bought for myself. He answered all my questions and explained everything. I will never hesitate to buy another vehicle from them again in the future.

This is our third lease with you since 2015. We had picked out a car with another dealer in November and was supposed to pick it up on Friday. The dealer called that morning and said Kia added a feature to the car that we didn’t order and it was going to cost us an additional $1500.00. On top of that, our payment was 70.00 higher than what we were originally quoted. Not satisfied about last appointment 10/22/21. I had just told my sister a day or two earlier about how great all my prior appointments were. I scheduled the appointment two weeks earlier, because I had already been told that the recommended services needed parts special ordered. After waiting 40-45 minutes I was told none of the items were there! The items take 3-5 business days . Still waiting! I'm a tough schedule at work, where days off are hard to come by! Supposedly I received a 10% discount? Also after being there 2 hours I go to smoke. My car was already in the finished service area. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when you talk to someone who doesn't look you face to face? I'm going to stop now! Because I'm still a little aggravated thinking about that day!

Brought my car in for a minor lamp in the dash not working they fixed the problem under warranty but dented and scratched my dash board plastics and steering wheel somehow. After telling them I just bought the car two weeks ago and the brakes made allot of noise they refused to fix them. Seen a vehicle online so I figured I best check it out in person. Their ad and salesperson claimed the vehicle we were looking at was a certified vehicle, all great right! Right off the bat the car didnt seem to have that clean detailed look, a little dirty still but we continued on. Well after close inspection we found the vehicle had barely any tread on the tires 6/32 to be exact. Plus upon inspection front driver side tire had a nail in it. The vehicle is a 2018 with 22,000 miles which you would think would have better tread. We tried working out a deal to replace the tires and we would take it, unfortunately they decided that the price was good enough and wouldn't budge. The dealership had a lot of vehicles but our trip wasn't successful this time. Good luck shopping!

Right from the start everything was falling in place. We wanted to get another truck but the cost went up to where our need for a truck had come and gone however our sale person gave us another option which fix perfect for our needs and at an affordable price. Didn't even have to go kick tires with our new SUV delivered to us. Everything that was promised was delivered and the truck was taken by the driver. We've had the SUV for a few days now and love. I purchased an extended warranty on my 2016 Silverado 2500HD. After reading that the transmissions are junk, I was surprised to find that all of my mechanical issues were covered plus I got a rental. The service guys got my truck in and diagnosed quickly. I even got updated phone calls letting me know what the progress was. Due to parts being back ordered, my truck was still done within a reasonable time.

I inquired with Sweeney on December 9, 2020 about my vehicle and interest in trading my current vehicle in. The salesman was prompt on responding to my chat. He called me on the phone and I gave him all the information about my vehicle. I informed him that I still owed on my current vehicle and he reassured me that Sweeney was having a lot of sales and if I had negative equity we could bury it with the incentives they were offering. So, trusting his word we drove there from Howland, with my children who aren't even in school, trusting this man's word, in a pandemic! We get there, he doesn't introduce himself to my husband and is in a huge hurry. Takes us in, takes the keys to my vehicle and they value our trade. He comes back with figures, doesn't inform us of the value and just hands us figures about a new car, which I didn't choose. We had already discussed over the phone what payment I would like to be at. They offered me such a low price on my trade it was unreal and then said "There isn't anything else I can do!" AFTER, he told me on the phone he would work with me on incentives!! Just goes to show they do NOT care about the customer and are not true to what they say! I would NEVER buy a vehicle here and I hope to goodness that others do not get treated the way we did!

Brought my car in for tire rotation and oil change. They told me I should get coolant changed based on age of vehicle which I agreed on. My appointment was at 10:30 and I told them I would wait. It was 2:30 and everyone who came in after me had been called and their repairs were finished. At 2:30 I went to check on status of my car and was told they just pulled it in. When I said I had been there since 10:30 they went searching for my car and couldn’t find it. Then they said it was completed and brought it up front. If it wasn’t for the fact that this is the closest dealership to me, I would never take my car back to Sweeney for repairs
