I really did my research before going to Sunset Jewelry and Loan. Their reviews and ratings were much more professional than the ordinary pawn shops in the area. I felt this business was the right place for me to bring some artwork and jewelry in to sell ... I was right .. Keith and Lois were very experienced, professional and knowledgeable in my service today. And trustworthy . They were very honest and transparent in their research about my items. Great experience buying and selling items. Kirk is very knowledgeable and thoroughly tested and explained how he was able to come to values on items I was selling. I don’t usually write reviews but once in a while I’m impressed by a business enough to do so. Sunset jewelry and pawn is more like a high end jewelry store without the high end jewelry store mark ups. I have purchased several beautiful pieces from them lately and I’ve always gotten the best deals. On top of that they are the only pawn brokers I know that offer a special 10% interest on their loans instead of the standard 25%. If you want the best experience, deals, and interest rates I’d recommend them.

I moved to Clearwater more than 8 years ago and have been a customer of Kirk´s for more than 6, I went in there once and don´t need to go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and, above all, decent. Several things that stand out: They are accurate and descriptive regarding the items they have or that you bring in. They are accommodating, so will work a way to best fit your needs. Have always been fair and will advise you on what the best option is. They even have a repair area I have used a time or 2. They have been very good to me and will always have me as a customer.
