The experience I had with Stewart Title was not ideal. There were issues with the lender, and I understand that they were the go between people for the lender and myself. However, the experiences I had with this location of Stewart Title left a bad taste in my mouth. They did not leave a good impression. The receptionists were sarcastic and short/clipped with myself and another woman that came in while I was there. The vibe I got was that we were bothering them. The escrow officer also seemed annoyed the entire time and not welcoming. Basically, I felt like a hassle instead of a customer. Additionally, there was an issue with the lender during closing, and I had to make several phone calls. The end result was the Escrow Officer and Loan Officer playing the blame game and point fingers when really both had made mistakes. No one owned up to their mistakes or apologized for the issues on their end. There were several paperwork issues, reschedules, and tons of emails leading up to closing. I know it wasn't an ideal situation, but every customer deserves to be treated with respect and like their home buying experience matters no matter how small the property is.

Closings can be very stressful for buyers and sellers so an issue might not show up until they get to closing. It may appear the title company's error especially if not represented by a Realtor who can explain the associated costs at the beginning of a transaction. As a Realtor representing clients and on my own investment purchases, I've closed transactions here for 20 yrs. I never had a single problem with the staff or a closing. The prices are the same or lower than other companies. They close on time, are accurate, very professional and super friendly.

My favorite title company! I never have to worry if they are getting things done, and they always keep me informed if there are any issues. The best!
