Steve was amazing to work with. He was super fast to respond, always called or emailed with updates and was very transparent. I have never refinanced but have purchased two homes in the past and both were an absolute nightmare to do loans for. Steve was incredible. I emailed him our situation and not but 30 minutes later he was calling. He said he would have called earlier but he was on the phone with another customer. It was already after hours. He put together a quote and got it to us within an hour. He is so fun to work with and really individualizes his service. We closed our refinance in 18 days from when we first contacted. Steve is the best. My very first home loan was managed by Intercap. I had some questions and I was very impressed that they actually answered the phone. When I sold that home and was looking to refinance my current home I gave them a call and this was my first contact with Steve. Steve was amazing! He was prompt and easy to communicate with. He is professional and compassionate. This refinance was tricky but he got the job done. Rates dropped again and I called Steve. He recommended I refinance again and I went to a 15 year loan! I can't think of any other business I've dealt with that has been so responsive. Man, where do I start? Steve was the best to work with. The condo I found was listed as FHA approved, which was great for me. Half way through the process we discovered it was not FHA approved. I was about to lose a fabulous deal in what is a slaughterhouse of a market for buyers. Steve worked extra hard not only to get me the best rate (that I won't ever need to refinance), but he was able to work it into a conventional loan effectively saving the deal. My down payment was well within where we ballparked it, and my mortgage payment a couple hundred less than I had expected. It was a great experience working with Steve!

This was my first time refinancing a home. It was so easy and the anxiety of the unknown was put to rest, thanks to Steve's and April's constant communication. I worked with Steve to finance my first home purchase and I couldn't feel more fortunate about it. I initially found out about Intercap by simply seeing a sign outside of one of their offices. I just called their main office when I was shopping around for rates and they redirected me to Steve. I felt like Steve was always available, he answered a bunch of my late evening calls, and several times he offered to stay late and help move my application forward. I needed a pre-approval to submit with a last minute offer on a home, and Steve stayed late and got it for me! (this is the home I ended up buying!) Going through this as a single first time home buyer, I had a bunch of questions and wanted to know all of my options, Steve was very knowledgeable and transparent. We explored every option we could think of: Jumbo loans, piggy-back loans, par-rate loans, and different ways to stay under the jumbo loan limit so I could maintain the best interest rate. Steve and Intercap also moved super fast in funding the loan. It basically only took a few days after I had finally submitted all of the documents they needed. I was able to move up my closing date because of that! I don't think I could've gotten a better deal for my interest rate + closing costs. The fact that everything moved so quickly and it truly felt like Steve and Intercap were working hard to earn my business and put me in the best situation possible is just amazingly fortunate.

We wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates and refinance our home even though we had just purchased it a year ago.
