Wonderful wild land. Trails can be hard to follow as blazes are a little to far apart. Bring a ton of tick repellant

We enjoyed exploring. I guess it is much less crowded this time of year as we had the island to ourselves. We brought our bicycles to ride on the dirt road. The hiking trails are nice. It was exciting to come upon the beaver hut next to the path. We saw a deer and eagles. Bathrooms have electricity. We packed our lunch and ate in the camping area sitting on Adirondack chairs overlooking the water with birds to view. When it started to rain we sheltered in a lean to. Our only complaints were that trails weren't well marked so we didn't know how far we had walked; and when we came back to the dock we were at the mercy of the boat driver as he was over 30 minutes late, but very polite and thankful for our patience. We look forward to our next visit to explore more of the island.
