I recently bought my first new car through Steve Lewis Subaru and am thrilled with my new car and my experience with the sales team. I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable with Rich, the salesman I worked with. I didn’t feel pressured at any point and appreciated the knowledgeable explanations of the car/process and patience as I weighed my options. There was a small setback along the way that the team went above and beyond to rectify and be sure I was satisfied. When I was there, my sister also needed to bring her Subaru into the shop. The people helping at the shop counter were so sweet and clearly customer service oriented, also affirming my decision to purchase a Subaru. I didn’t feel like “just another sale” at any point and will absolutely recommend Steve Lewis to friends and family in the future.

My experience with Steve Lewis Subaru was great! Roger was an excellent sales person. He kept updating me on the arrival of my new 2022 Subaru Legacy. He made the buying experience very simple and rewarding. On the actual sales date, I forgot to bring my used car title in and Roger followed me 20 miles to my house to pick the title up! I bought my first Subaru (2001) from Steve Lewis in 2000. A used vehicle, again from Steve Lewis, in 2015, and my current Subaru (2019) in 2019, of course from Steve Lewis. I also have my car serviced there, as needed; no problems with the car. It is easy to schedule an appointment with the Service Dept, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the work is completed as specified and efficiently. A synopsis of the service is also provided. Steve Lewis Subaru has my loyalty.

Went for oil change and wacky infotainment computer fix and had a great experience. The service manager was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful in solving my issue and the team got the oil change done in no time. Will definitely be bringing my car back for all future maintenance!

Bought a car from here in 2020. Everything was fine. They asked to buy back my car because used car prices are incredibly high. After discussion with the sales person who was very polite on the call. I found out that this company marks up approximately 5,000 over MSRP. They are taking advantage of the consumer now that the supply is low and demand is high. I explained that this "protection charge" was unacceptable and that he could contact me when they stop charging this premium. Do yourself a favor and drive to another Subaru dealership in the area where you wont be overcharged for a new car!

If there was a zero star option, I would choose that. Their Sales department is amazing, will sell you car and treat you like a king. I bought mine. Their service department is the WORST. Will make you feel like you never should have bought a Subaru to begin with.

I brought my car to this Subaru dealership for an oil change and asked them to take a look at my rear tires to see if they need to be replaced. They told me I should replace my tires as soon as possible, and they also told me I needed to get my Ac and alternator belts replaced because they were starting to crack. I later took my car to my usual mechanic (not Subaru) and told them to replace my tires and the belts. I didn't tell them what Subaru told me, just the work I wanted done. Around 15 mins after I dropped off my car, they called me and said they measured my tires and found that they still have at least a few months on them, and the belts look good as new. Two of the mechanics both looked at the belts and couldn't find anything wrong with them. I was told to come back in a few months to get my tires replaced, and I ended up walking out of there without needing any work done and without paying a thing. As a young woman, I worry about being taken advantage of when I bring my car to a mechanic for repairs. I've been lucky enough to have had a few reliable shops I can go to without getting screwed over and charged for things I don't need, but apparently Steve Lewis Subaru isn't one of them. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the oil change was a decent price and the service was quick.

I recently purchased my dream car from Steve Lewis. Although the car was everything I wanted, I expected better from both the sales and service department. After purchasing, I realized the car was not provided with a wheel lock, which comes standard with all of their WRX's and STI's. I needed this lock, because I purchased my car in January and needed to purchase snow tires immediately. I also had to wait almost 2 Weeks for the title to come in before I could sign paperwork to buy the car (it came from Florida originally). They wouldn't budge on the price of the car, despite explaining to me that part of the overall cost was their towing fee to get it from Florida to MA (not sure why that's at the customers expense). When it came time to get the wheel lock replaced, they did it free of charge, but it took them 4 hours to do that, and switch over my snow tires during that appointment- I saw at least 6 people come in, get their service done, and leave. Overall, I was happy to drive away with my dream car, but the first week of owning it was the most stressful and time consuming week of my life!

Very pleased. Car had a unique problem which caused it to completely shut down: key stuck, wheel locked up, NOTHING worked. It was not a recall but an identified issue/problem, so no charge--had to return 2nd time d/t key continuing to stick, no charge either. Afraid I still don't quite trust my 2012 Impreza, which just hit 100K miles, never had this problem in years (and years) of driving. My 4th Subaru :)

This was my third time buying a car from Steve Lewis Subaru. Every time I have dealt with them they have been wonderful but this time was beyond that. My sales consultant (Brian) was a pleasure to work with. He was very considerate while trying to get me into the car I wanted. He was patient when I came in September and wasn’t quite ready to get a new vehicle. When I reached out in February he was attentive and enthusiastic. Just bought a brand new Impreza! Seth the salesperson I dealt with was awesome! So helpful. I had a million questions and he very patiently answered every one of them. He was very knowledgeable and just an all around nice person. He even stayed late to make sure I was 100% sure of my decision. Jack took care of my financing and he worked hard to get me a loan with an amazing rate and great terms. When I picked up my car Seth took the time to go over all the features in it. Because of the distance we travel, service agreed to do both updates for us at that time. We were well aware that we would have a long wait that day but the dealership personnel were always saying some kind remarks which helped to pass the time. Sales representative was very pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. He couldn't have been better. Liked the car very much but displeased with the standard option included on all this dealerships cars. That of a surge price overcharge of thousands of dollars over MSRP due to the shortage of cars available during the pandemic. Opportunistic charges tacked on by the dealer because they can. If they were selling plywood before a hurricane they would be charged with price gouging. I have purchased 2 Subarus and recommended my parents buy one ( which they did) in the past. I am likely to purchase another car in the next couple of years. Not sure if it will be a Subaru but am sure it won't be from Steve Lewis Subaru! Not sure love still makes a Subaru a Subaru.

Brought our 2016 Outback in for the 5yr/60K mi service. Our service advisor, Jesse, provided us with a clear description of the work to be done and an estimate of the costs. Since the service involved a lot of time we were provided with a loaner when we dropped off our car. We were in and out in just a few minutes. The loaner was a big help since they needed our Outback for so long. They got the service done, we dropped off the loaner, and we were once again out the door in just a few minutes. The servicing on the car was great, and the customer interactions were terrific. We will definitely be bringing our Outback to Steve Lewis Subaru again for routine and other maintenance.

I got my 2017 Forester from Steve Lewis Subaru. They recently serviced a recall issue with the AC compressor on my Forester. I was at the appointment on time and they were ready and took it right in. Everything was smooth as could be. Pleasant waiting area. Job was done within the estimated time. Subaru is very reliable, but when you need service, you want a dealer like this.

I have had wonderful experiences at this dealership. This one was less than stellar, but only in the length of time it took to make the repair to my car (about 3 weeks). The service manager, Brad, was fantastic in providing updates and a loaner car. I did speak with one technician who was fairly rude about my concern of how long it was taking.

I stopped by without an appointment to ask about getting a tail light fixed on our Subaru. They were able to fix two lights, do a quick inspection of the car, and some other minor maintenance all in about 30 minutes! Everyone was kind and professional and I was impressed with the efficiency of the service, especially since I didn't have an appointment. We will be coming back for regular services!

Bought a car from them last year, 2021, and they were relatively easy to work with and I had a great experience. My car was totalled in December of that year and I had to find a new car and they were my first choice, but the lack of supply and willingness to work with me to find the best deal resulted in me going to Mitchell Subaru in Connecticut. They are a very good dealership in Western Massachusetts and their service department has always been helpful.

I recently bought an Impreza from Steve Lewis Subaru and it was all around a great experience from start to finish! The team there made the whole process quick, completely headache free, and stress free. I was in a rough spot (car-less) and Aaron, Roger and Jack all went completely above and beyond to ensure that I was able to get rolling ASAP and that I happy with my purchase. To add - when I didn't have a ride to the dealership to pickup my new car, they arranged for a shuttle driver to come pick me up. Although I no longer live in the area, I still go to Steve Lewis Subaru when I need Subaru parts. The folks in the Parts department are always helpful and friendly. I stopped in recently to get new wiper blades for my Impreza. Bill from Parts took the time to come outside with me to help me install the new blades on my car. I was very grateful for the guidance because I always struggle getting the old blades off and the new ones on. With Bill's help everything was completed in a few minutes. I appreciate this level of customer service.

If they were selling plywood before a hurricane they would be charged with price gouging. I have purchased 2 Subarus and recommended my parents buy one ( which they did) in the past. I am likely to purchase another car in the next couple of years. Not sure if it will be a Subaru but am sure it won't be from Steve Lewis Subaru! Not sure love still makes a Subaru a Subaru.

I was pleasantly surprised with the excellent treatment and service I received for my 2015 pre-owned Outback. We have the extended warranty that covered the major issue, but Jesse S found coupons to help make the ultimate cost more affordable for me. They offered me a vehicle while they worked on my car (one week), and it was a beautifully appointed current model. Considering that my initial experience with the dealership had some significant bumps in the road, I am feeling much more positive about them with this current experience.

Went to service department because radio stopped working on my 2017 crosstrek. They told me black screen means new radio with huge price tag.No way it's a fuse like I suggested. So I checked and push the fuse in.Started car and radio worked.This dealership is out to robb you for sure!! Won't be going there again. 😡

Wonderful service! Can’t say enough! Jessie, Brandon, Benny and Tera all so supportive. It’s great they text you to keep you updated about the service of your car. Everyone is kind honest and explains repairs. Also helpful there is a driver to take you home or work if you can’t wait. Dana the driver especially reliable. I have purchased 7 Subarus here. My last service was the best. Jesse was attentive, clear and courteous. I was offered a car while I waited. The wait time was reduced from 4 hours when I made the appointment to 2 hours arriving at the appointment. I was out in 1hour and 40 minutes. Big difference! Jesse noted my windshield wipers needed replacement and took care of that. Also, I was given a free car wash. Again, the best service I've experienced at Steve Lewis.

Terrific experience working with Todd Gerry and the other staff at SLS. Todd couldn't have been more responsive to our many questions. This most recent Outback is our 4th but is the first and only car we have ever leased. Todd patiently listened to, and answered each and every question we had. He was also very proactive in keeping us updated on status of delivery of the car to the dealership in Hadley. Todd's attentiveness in this regard was helpful as we were working to coordinate a seamless transfer of our current Outback to our oldest daughter that is a first time driver, making the mechanics of the multiple transactions more complex than a typical sale. Despite our familiarity with Outbacks Todd took the time to walk us through the countless features, functions, and "amenities" of the vehicle with an emphasis on the advanced safety features. Lastly, my wife and I expressed the need to get through the paperwork process swiftly as I would be taking time off on a workday afternoon to get to the dealership and complete the paperwork, and returning to work afterwards. Todd and the team demonstrated respect for the request, and sincere appreciation of the fact I was short on time by having the paperwork all queued up and ready to go. I got to the dealership, completed the paperwork with my wife, and was able to return to work in no more than 25-30 minutes with my wife staying to get an introduction to the vehicle by Todd mentioned earlier. We couldn't be happier!
