Bank of America Financial Center S Pleasant St, Amherst

I am not a member here, I only came to deposit a check for a friend. The tellers were so unfriendly and so unhelpful. I was pretty much told to figure out how to write the deposit on my own with no help from the tellers. Thank God my bank doesn’t have their ridiculous deposit forms and unfriendly tellers. Would never open an account with this bank. I would’ve left and given them the number 1 finger had it not been an urgent deposit.

This branch at Amherst has a few very pleasant people working there but "upper management" has a mightier than thou mentality and will take it to any degree. And it is usually understaffed. One star because no zero.

The people at this branch are very nice. The problem is how much BOA invests in fossil fuels. They are one of the worst banks in the money pipeline that is accelerating climate change. Choose a local bank or credit union until BOA stops.

Possibly the absolute worst branch ever. The clerks make up their own rules and have wasted my time on so many occasions. What I can do easily at any other branch is impossible to do here. I’ve been a member for 20 years and I’m now done. Moving my business elsewhere. If I could give a zero I would.

Had an appointment in Amherst to straighten out a fraudulent credit card charge. They insisted on an in person appointment. Arrived to find the office closed. No courtesy call. No contact at all. Horrible company. Terrible customer service.

Great service always. I opened an account eleven years ago and the service is always first class. They always try to help, and they go out of their way to sort out any problems that may come up. A big thank you to all of them

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! No smiles. No manners either. Prepare to be accosted upon entering by a person who asks what you are there for and if they can help. Once you are forced to publicly disclose your business, she then directs you to someone else who may not help either. Need efficienciy and privacy? THIS IS NOT YOUR BANK! The fact is this vetting person is obnoxious , unfriendly, craving validation, a bully, and of NO help....and the bad service continues with persistent badgering in a very unfriendly and attempted intimidation. It's REALLY THE WORST. Want something notarized ? That's a laugh. They'll play any maneuver to disqualify your document, meanwhile any other bank is able to notarize the same document in and out in no time. This Bank branch gets NEGATIVE STARS for bad attitude and worst customer service experience in Amherst, second only to the Jones Library. What might you do to improve? How can I help?

The Bank of America Corporation actively finances fossil-fuel projects including fossil fuel pipelines. BoA is financing the "Line 3" pipeline that will carry tar sands derived petroleum. In Minnesota, Native Americans vehemently oppose the construction of Line 3. Line 3 threatens their land and water. Please do not use Bank of America until they stop funding fossil-fuel projects. I have been use boa service for several years. Provides a lot of profit to you guys. Over 80k money flows in and out of my account yearly. You guys earn from International wire transfer fees, credit card and so on. No overdue, outstanding behaviors. And all my boa bank accounts has been closed for no reason. Called the number said because of business considerations lol. Thx god for not using this p*of*s anymore. You not gonna take anymore money from me. Lots of other choices in the market besides you outdated hillbilly. I can choose not paying you back those $3800 credit card balance. I can apply bankruptcy then let you guys lose sht. I am not a US citizen and I don’t care about that. However, I paid you back, so knee down and thank your god.
