Not a pleasant place for those with a darker hue. Emily always tries to be kind and is very professional, the m.o.d. is just rude and assumptive. If I didn't need to I wouldn't do any transactions here whatsoever.

Excellent employees, they always try to help. But long slow lines to get to a teller. After the last upgrade the ATMs outside just don't work right and today refused to take my ATM card so I had to go inside for what should have been a 30 second transaction. I don't like that I have to join a "rewards" club / account to receive decent interest on my savings / checking. So disappointing. The last Credit Union I had an account at that went to gimmicks to draw in members had a big embezzler and went bankrupt.

I have been with StarOne for 40 years...back when they were LMSC (Lockheed). I have regularly gone to 4 different branches (Sunnyvale, Stevens Creek, Blossom Hill, and Saratoga. I have had nothing but GREAT experiences at all these locations. The staff are always friendly and often jovial (which I appreciate). I have always been able to get my transactions completed promptly. Yes, I've seen the long lines, but they tend to go quickly. It also helps not to go on a Friday afternoon. :-) I have done loans, multiple accounts, and travel assistance with them; all with outstanding service! My kids now have accounts with StarOne and are also as happy as I am. I just want to do one shout-out to Monique at the Blossom Hill branch. She has been consistently professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks, Monique, for always helping me and my kids!!!

Un profissional people work there. They approved my loan to get a car. Bmw dealer told me that they dont work with them so i have to get back to grap check my self. When i got there they told me that im not approved and the employee who approved me earlier might did a mistake.

Star One has always been my favorite bank. Kind employees, good rates, responsive customer service.

Marina is amazing! She knows me by name! 🥰 She always knows how to put a smile on my face! She engages with me and other clients in line making me/us feel welcomed. She asks about my day and family. She is the reason I enjoy coming to the Star One Credit Union location in Santa Clara!

If I could give them 0 stars then I would. I had to file chapter 7 but settled with Star One and paid in full almost immediately. Since then, Star One has reported my auto loan with them as discharged (it was not included ever) even though I have never been late and even have made double payments, cut off my bank statements (they decided to just quit sending them), deleted all my past eStatements to everything and cut off my online access to my accounts. When I asked for this to be fixed they were, in short, uncooperative and simply said no. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I got a call the next day and they restored my online access, but of course there are no transactions showing for my auto loan after my chapter 7 filing. Star One decided to include my auto loan in my bankruptcy all on their own. I love credit unions. I do not recommend Star One. They are not human beings and appear to like staying behind the red tape.

I came here to pay for the rent (land lord holds account here now), but unlike normal financial institutions (or even coffeeshops), this one does not accept debit cards!. They said "we need cash or money order from your bank", ok I showed cash... now they said: "yet we need you to fill out this A4 paper form and your ID", ok i gave them EAD card, then they said "we need something else, like passport"... ok i gave them my passport, and again they said "this document have to be issued by US", but EAD issued by US, what's wrong? "It is not issued by California"!... wow... you made my day. Before I paid 12 month/12 times with my debit card like direct deposit to my land lord account at another bank. And actually I opened my bank account by using my passport (not US issued!). It seems easier to open my own bank than come here.

Employees Are Kind & Have Great Customer Service. I Prefer This Star One Location Over The Blossom Hill Location.
