Kyle Barnes was my loan originator and Donna Jones was my mortgage processor. They both did an excellent and outstanding job. Process was smooth and flawless until funding. Communication was consistent. I think it took us 30 to 45 days to close our home equity loan due to the thanksgiving week. Thank you guys for a job well done. Would definitely recommend this company to relatives and friends.

My experience was not great at all. Absolutely no communication from Stephanie. I had to reach out about anything. Left many messages with no call backs. I have an appraisal that showed all comps and how much the house was worth and your appraiser somehow took 200,000 dollars off. I believe it’s a scam because my rate went way up, and my loan amount went down. I am in the business and asked many loan officers about the appraisal coming in lower than the appraisal that was done to purchase the house? They said that is very very strange. I had to do the loan because I needed the money for a remodel that is being done. But I will never ever use you guys again. Nor would I recommend your company. It’s sad because I am in the business and get asked all the time what companies I would recommend. Stephanie had an attitude most of the time and was rude. I asked about the appraisal issue and she blew me off. This is the review I will be leaving as well. I was not going to say anything but you keep bugging me with these emails. Sorry I could not be more positive.

These folks are straight shooters! I was a like weary when I first found them. I had never heard of them and checked around to try see if they were a scam. I found some mixed reviews but they looked legit and they are. After filing out the application I was contacted by loan officer Dannaly and she ran through everything with me and was spot on. One thing that she told me about my student loans sounded a little odd to me but it turned out that she was correct to the proverbial t! Their electronic document uploading is very easy and straight forward. A notary came to our house on our schedule for closing. And time to close all depended on me. Once I got all the asked for documents in, our loan closed and we had our cash direct deposit in about two weeks! These folks are awesome! Don't hesitate!

Had a great experience the first time I used Spring EQ, The second time was horrible. My loan originator, Leo, left a bitter taste. He was unresponsive to emails and phone calls. I reached out to one of their customer service reps. I asked to speak with Leo's supervisor. I still have not received a return phone call. Pathetic customer service. DO NOT USE SPRING EQ!

I had a great team of professionals from start to finish Joshua Saline was my Loan originater and Marcy Glass was my customer advocate. All of my questions where answered in a timely manner, they both work diligently to get my loan approved and funds disbursed within a couple weeks. Many thanks for your hard work and dedication to your job.

So far, we are less than impressed. They have had our documents for 2 weeks and I have not heard a thing from them. And this was not including the prior 2 weeks that prosper had our info before passing it on to Spring EQ. Hoping to be able to update this review with some good news.

Cody, my loan officer and Vanessa, my closer listened to my unique situation and then did their very best to get my loan closed in the tight timeframe I had. They were easily accessible during the process, kept me updated and answered all my questions immediately. I would definitely recommend Spring EQ.

It’s disheartening that when you initiate the process your phone and email communication is nonstop. I have received a message from the loan officer asking to speak with me and I replied immediately and still have not heard from the loan officer. The communication is terrible, one of the things that I expressed is that I want an open line of communication and was assured that it would be one. Now 3 weeks or better in, the communication has stopped and the portal doesn’t provide updates.

I had a wonderful experience with Spring EQ. I had major damage to my home and my homeowners insurance would not cover my losses. The wonderful loan office, Abay Dauletiyarov was able to walk me through the process and calm my nerves even through the tears and there were many! Everyone that I spoke with at Spring EQ was professional and they were very thorough. I strongly and highly recommend you use Spring EQ for your financial needs.

Spring EQ kept consistent and timely communication with me during my entire loan process. I found each representative to be very knowledgeable and professional. I sincerely appreciate all the hard work and guidance that was provided to me.

Spring EQ is one of the finest lenders that provided me with greatest service and reply emails. I got prompt replies for all of my questions and answers. Ezekiel is my loan officer and displayed great customer support in helping me securing a loan faster.

These folks have aligned themselves with the lowest common denominator in customer service. After 6 weeks of non responsiveness to calls and e mails as well as multiple requests for same paperwork I have cancelled my loan. Don't trust these unprofessional folks with your business

If I could give -10 stars that still wouldn't suffice. BEWARE. This company is HORRIBLE and their customer service worse. Don't expect a call back unless you literally leave 25 messages asking for supervisors. THEY DO NOT CARE. I've been promised for the last 60 days my loan was "just waiting on the last details, no problem". Today I'm suddenly told there is no possibility of this ever funding. Wow. Thanks for the HUGE waste of my time, effort and money and especially for all the credit dings.

The process from start to finish was fast and easy. Total time was less than 1 month. The method of requesting and submitting required documents was very user friendly. Would definitely recommend Spring EQ.

I should have read the reviews before starting this process. They tell you it's a 25 day process but wait a month to order an appraisal. They want the appraisal paid up front though. It's been 40 days and they have ghosted me. I have sent email after email and left messages just to make sure all the paperwork is in so we can close. NO RESPONSE. Nicolas and Symone seem useless. And the canned response they provide to everyone's reviews shows they really don't care.

As soon as I hit submit, the phone starting ringing as every loan company on the planet hit my number. For some reason, the only one I answered was Spring. My sales agent got the third degree from me as I had never heard of Spring. Heck, my closing notary never heard of Spring. My agent answered my questions, came up with the rate, payback period and payment that fit my needs so I decided to go with Spring. We had a few hick-ups along the way, but each time I had a question, there was an entire TEAM on an email chain to fix the problem immediately. Bottom line, we closed in something like four weeks, start to finish. These people want your business. They certainly earned mine.

I was skeptical about dealing with an online HELOC provider. Laurence Labruce was exceedingly pleasant, thorough, and handled the entire process so much faster than the bricks and mortar banks I was dealing with. I definitely am recommending this loan provider to my business associates, relatives, friends, etc.

Worst company ever to work with. They messed up on our HELOC loan FIVE times. They're a terrible company and after all the mess and chaos over THREE months, mind you this line of credit was suppose to take a MONTH maximum; they are now claiming it's going to take an additional 60 days to fix because of all THEIR mistakes and putting us at the end of the line. Worst of all this was through our mortgage company so we didn't even have direct contact with these horrible people. I'm so disappointed and beyond frustrated because now we are going to have to restart with a new company after all this time wasted, but it sets us back now in all the plans we had made. If I could 0 stars I would.

I highly recommend using Spring EQ for HELOC. Joshua and Lauren have been very helpful, patient and they're very knowledgeable. This company specialized in this type of loan so if you're looking for heloc save yourself the time and have a stress-free processing. I'm glad I found Spring EQ.

Not impressed. After talking to a nice woman about a loan, never received the email for a follow up. So called again spoke to someone else, filled out the application and never received a follow up even after calling number of times. Don’t recommend.

Total scammer company. We have an equity loan with them and they charged us for two months of interest during which they lost our payment check and we did not have the money. They tried to negotiate with us as if this is some kind of a bazar… then forwarded out loan to Sls management, which is the most corrupt company that does everything in their power to delay payments in order to collect as much interest as possible. The customer service is untrained and misinforms you constantly. We are retaining an attorney, that’s how bad this has gotten - AVOID!

Tal Myers(2nd mortgage side) and Tracy Pyeatt(1st mortgage side) are the best. They work quickly, efficiently and keep in contact. When you are looking for options with your home needs contact them, after everything is completed I assure you, that you will be dropping a 5 Star review also.

The process was easy, the closing was quick, upload documents, reviewed by underwriter. Closer comes by, done. Friendly, outgoing staff who are very helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. Would use them again if needed.

Friendly staff willing to help. At this time, one of the only company offering Home Equity Loan. Serious and reliable, the loan was quickly closed. I recommend.

I worked with them as a broker. I had a loan in process and asked about some issues getting it into underwriting and was given very little details. Another broker at the same time came in after me and they gave him first priority over me so he could steal the deal. Not a very professional company in my opinion.

Just got a HELOC and the process was so smooth and fast! Finding a lender who still processes revolving line of credits with a 10 year draw period has been challenging. Especially with Covid. Most people are trying to push a cash out re-fi, which isn't what I wanted. The team was super friendly and professional. They communicated well with me every step of the way and the initial draw funded in about 2 weeks.

Dealing with Spring EQ was great, they were very communicative and worked hard to make sure we got the loan done. There was a problem with the title company but that wasn't their fault, and Spring EQ stayed on top of things throughout the process. I'd recommend them for anyone interested in getting a HELOC. Nick and Tiffany made me feel well taken care of.

I highly recommend Spring EQ for equity lending needs. The process was smooth, quick and their communication was top notch. In fact, I wanted to ask my consumer advocate to come work with me on my team. Hard to find great people. They are great!

My experience with Spring EQ was excellent. The associate that I dealt with was amazing. I live on the west coast and he is located in the east, but he always responded no matter what time it was. How do I get my loan officer to contact me back. I have sent 2 emails with no response, 1 tried phone calls, another email yesterday to her supervisor also with no response. I also sent in a note on the customer service board also with no response. I presume I will not get a response from this as well. Maybe a name change to ghost EQ would be more suitable. I am your customer. I am not asking for more than I deserve🤷‍♂️.... That would be a little communication. I am also curious how a company that has 80 two and under reviews (72 are a 1) gets a high rating???? I wish i read the reviews before I signed. I just saw the 4.6 and said that's good. well they are down to a 4.0 today.

Got friendly service on day one- but after getting all my paperwork sent in, I’m being ghosted. I was told my loan would spend about a week in underwriting, but that was almost 3 weeks ago. The rep(Rosie) won’t return my calls, texts or emails. Tried calling the HQ, was sent to an answering machine- no “please hold for a representative,” just straight to an answering machine. I have no idea what my loan status is and now I’m worried about this shady agency having my personal info.

No communication, whatsoever. I feel we've been ghosted. Not professional and downright rude. We'll not be taking our business any further with these people. Spring EQ should take a closer look at who they hire. I've had more constructive communication with used car salesmen.

I got a loan through Spring EQ which was sold/transferred to another lender. By law, customers are supposed to be notified at least 15 days in advance when a loan is being transferred but Spring EQ did not send any information about the transfer until about 12 days after the transfer started. In my paperwork, the lender was listed but there was no wording about the loan being transferred. About 5 days after the transfer process started, I received emails from a credit union stating "Welcome" & I found out an account had been opened in my name. I did not get anything in the mail from the credit union about the transfer until more than 10 days after the new account was opened. I initially thought someone was fraudulently opening accounts in my name & ended up checking credit reports because of this. Because of all of this, I don't recommend Spring EQ.

I had a great experience with Spring EQ. The terms from the initial review were very close to the final agreement. The loan agreement closing went very smoothly and was scheduled for my convenience. It was very professional. I am very pleased with my experience.

The process was slow. Communication was brief and not informative after the process started. Mostly interested in getting you signed and sell you their insurance and off to the next. Rate was changed twice. Customer experience follow up didn't check in the until month after the process started. When told of my experience,it fell on deaf ears.Asked them to talk by phone, reply was send an email.

SpringEQ is a failure as a lender. I had a conditional approval, which I met all conditions, and they reneged because of an unrelated matter that had nothing to do with me. That was the issue caused me to walk. They had all kinds of problems and delays with them. My first mortgage was about 2 months shorter…. For each of my properties. Avoid at all costs. You’ll be paying for appraisals and get credit pulls that go nowhere.

We had an easy, smooth experience with a HELOC. The rep that helped us was very responsive and knowledgeable about the process, which was complete in less than 2 weeks. The ease of the process and great customer service made the process seamless. Very good experience.

This has to be one of the worst experiences in my life. Do not use Spring EQ. Began the process in late April. They use a drive-by appraisal services which drastically under values the home. Begged for updates. Tried calling and emailing my loan rep multiple times never got a true update just cryptic one line responses that never answered my questions. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Now I need to start from scratch somewhere else thar actually wants my business.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Communication was horrible. Was told it would be a 1-2 week process and all we needed was a drive by appraisal. Two weeks went by and then they said we needed a full in house appraisal, so that was paid for in full for $500+. Over a week later with no response or update I was told it was now going to be $1,300+ for an appraisal. So a month in and nothing has been done. We owe less then half of fair market value on our house and both neighbors homes sold within the last 6 months. It should not have been this difficult. We are going elsewhere now.

They seem good until you get to the appraisal process. They used a 3rd party appraiser that was off by about $200k. My mortgage loan officer said there was nothing she could do even though I had an appraisal that was 5 months old showing a value much higher than the 3rd party. I live in Phoenix where houses are selling left and right but the 3rd party used 1-year old comps. Instead of acknowledging any problem, they just tried to sell me a full appraisal that I would have to pay. Not going to pay $625 if they could not get the drive by even close. I am running away to a competitor that has slightly higher processing times but runs a business less like a pawn shop.

We refinanced our previous home with Spring EQ about 2 years ago and then used them this month for our new home. Both experiences were great, professional employees throughout the process, quick turnaround, and excellent communication.

Excellent customer service. They were quick, knowledgeable and efficient. I was very specific in what type of loan I was looking for and Mike worked with me to get me what I wanted. I would definitely use them again.

I really don’t understand what happened with this co. John, originator was unbelievable; Nydia, customer service / agent, also unbelievable. Then 10 days pass and no funds in my bank from home equity loan. So, I’ve contacted spring eq by phone and by email. Crickets. Now, My wife and I are done, will not be doing any business with this co. It’s really too bad since everyone along the way has been super helpful (so 1 star for John and 1 for Nydia).

Terrible customer service. Never reviewed the paperwork with me. Do not work with Eric Williams, Lauren Mury, or Michael McDevitt. They were not helpful at all. I closed on a HELOC. Shortly after closing, the entire amount was deposited in my account. I never wanted to withdraw the entire amount at the beginning. You would think they would bring this to your attention prior to close just to make sure that was in fact what you wanted. Nope! After the fact, no desire to help. Lauren and Michael did not respond to a single email and Eric would barely respond and again, no desire to help. Do not use this company. There are better lenders with lower closing costs and higher quality customer service.

Brian Anton and the rest of the team at Spring EQ did an awesome job, assisting us with our HELOC, even if we had to do a full appraisal, because our home is a new build, process was still quick and efficient. Great job!

I asked for a range of rates before disclosing all my details, but was rejected. Apparently, the agent did a great job getting all my information, yet the rate is insanely high. Feel like betrayed. Really a waste of time. Will never work this lender again.

These people a rude and arrogant ! They hammer out phone calls, and if they cant close you within 2 minute you will be accused of wasting their time. With the current complexion of the lending industry I'm sure there are plenty more banks that would appreciate your business. Take your business elsewhere.

First Class Experience my loan officer D'Andre Sapp worked tirelessly to make it happen when we hit a snag.My advocate was great also making the closing very easy and convenient ,great job Spring EQ.

Set up my loan and it was sold before I could make my first payment. Very disappointed. Rep went silent on me after the Loan approved. I feel cheated and deceived. I do not recommend.

No wonder why and I am not surprise to see this 1 star and negative comments towards this company. My experience is horrible, bad communication from loan officer and management, no reply from emails, no reply from my phonecall messages. It's just really bad. If I can give zero reviews I will. 100% not recommend them to family and friends.

My loan process went very well. We chose Spring EQ because they specialize in home equity lines of credit, and they had competitive interest rates and terms. We chose a HELOC because we didn't want to refinance our already low mortgage rate, and we plan to pay it off within a couple of years. Michelle and everyone else we worked with was very help, from selecting the best loan for our home remodeling project through closing. Michelle and her team were very knowledgeable and easy to work with throughout the process. I recommend Spring EQ.

The process was quick and painless, got my money quickly, thanks! So tomorrow is the due date for my first payment, and for the past week I have been trying to contact Spring EQ, because I have not gotten a bill or statement or anything. No worries I tried to pay them via direct payment from my bank, that didn't work either. So now I have a payment due tomorrow and still now way of knowing who and where to send a check, I can send it to the default site in Philadelphia, but it would be like sending a check to someone hoping they no what to do with it. I also attempted to contact my loan officers, they never responded even though I left a message. Not impressed as of this moment
