Very nice and clean and some of the staff was welcoming despite the front manager turning me away for trying to swap out a mutilated hundred-dollar bill. Ran out of gas on 27 up past Walmart towards lowes ....walked ALL THE WAY BACK to get gas at Murphy! Got turned away told to go to SOUTH STATE and swap it out. Walmart said to go swap it out .. amscot said the same and this particular SOUTH STATE definitely gets thumbs down Fort running away a possible new account holder and another thumbs down or being rude and lying about not being able to swap out the bill stating I had to be an account holder. Had no duration or the fact that I just walked two and a half miles on 27 in the blistering Heat trying to swap out this bill and get gas

I wish I had seen the previous reviews before opening and trying to run accounts here. I have to say the tellers in the bank have been very pleasant but are let down by rude management staff who do not appear to understand their own banking system and products. If the management team were to give more responsibility to the counter staff who do seem to care, then the experience here would improve immediately. What a shame.

The security here is like walking into a prison. You have to place anything metal in a tray and pass tvrothra metal detector before they buzz open the door. The web banking is terrible also. I ended up at a mainstream bank.

The manager was very rude. She was able to resolve the issue they created after a second visit.

The Workers are very rude and service was not perfect I don't recommend this bank for no one.

I wish i could give this bank 0 stars! This Bank Has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called about my husbands account and MISTY got an attitude after i asked to speak to a manager. My husband has banked here for years and for the last two years we treated horribly. i also feel like i was racial profiled due to the fact that Misty told me i called yelling at her, which is a complete lie. My husband is closing this account ONLY because of the poor service from the tellers to the managers!

Terrible service! Machine did not return my debit card. I come in to get it 20 minutes before close and I was told they are short staffed and its to late to get the card, meanwhile there are no customers in the lobby. They told me to return Monday which was 3 days later. I work 12 hour shifts so I needed the card right away. Regardless if I was able to come in Monday or not I should have been able to get my card. Awful customer service at the site and over the phone. The account will be closed as soon as possible.
